Exactly what I was looking for. Sporty little wagon with ridiculously low mileage and the reliability and fuel efficiency of a diesel. It’s been averaging around 40 mpg.

This car is exactly what I was looking for! Great mileage and sporty drive - looks good and drives well. Outstanding VW TDI Sport Wagen that I commute between SC and GA!

Although I've only had the car fora few weeks, it has exceeded my expectations for mileage, comfort, and performance. I've also been surprised with several comments from people coming up to see the car and saying how sharp it is.

This car just drove like a dream I’ve never been so crazy about a car to where I couldn’t sleep that night. Hands-down the best car I’ve driven.

Nice car. Good ride, power is adequate. Economy could be better. Steering is numb but responsive ... but so is my A4. Tiptronic Sport mode is a joke ... it still shifts automatically any time it wants (or does not when it should), often taking one by surprise at an inopportune time.... in normal mode the automatic works great. Blind spot visibility could be better. Excellent value because of the carry over from the Jettra Sportwagen TDI problems.

The ride is a little rough. There is a shortage of storage space for items in the driver compartment. Mechanically the vehicle is wonderful and performance and mpg are outstanding.

This is they type of car I was l looking for something that would accommodate all I needed. It is sporty but can carry all my kids gear for sports and the like. They kids have leg room and are not stacked on top of each other in the back seat

Incredible value for the money. I bought this car new in March 2011. Have now driven it 94000 miles and unfortunately, have to turn it in to VW (Diesel-Gate) But let me say, that I have owned Acura's-Lexus Ford's and Chevy's in my life. And the least cost of ownership car has been my 2011 VW Jetta TDI. And I've been driving for 45 years. Example: I drive 50/50 hwy and city, and have never had to replace my brake pads in 94000 miles. I check them every six months, and can affirm that they are still good to this day (May 2018). In comparison on my ES350, had to do brakes every 35000 miles (and I thought that was good at the time>> ha) 94000 miles and never had to have a Front wheel alignment (they build them strong) 94000 miles and all I ever did beyond standard maintenance was have a solenoid valve replaced in the A/C pump ($200). A truly amazing car to drive as well, super torque at the low end, and average overall about 30mpg (I get 39 on the hwy) Love this car so much, I am now searching cargurus and autotrader for a never sold but now upgraded 2014. If successful in my search, I know I'll experience that true German engineering for the next 7 years. This car was incredible, I will miss her.

Roomy, comfortable fun to drive. Great on gas. No hesitation when I step on the accelerator. Nice sound system. The seats warm up quickly and so does the heat.

This is my second VW with the diesel engine. This one is better in every category. It is reliable and does not have any mechanical issues, or actually, it does not have an issues. It gets really good fuel mileage, it is the Sportwagen and has a little more space than the sedans, it turns out that the diesel engine actually makes a little more torque than some of the gas engines and the performance is pretty good. The car now has over 100,000 miles and runs like new.
