I love to drive it. I love all the features. It's got lots of room. Great safety features, too! The sound system is great.

I like the legroom in the back seat, and the reliability. Plus the cost gives great value compared to similar cars

Light keep going out and coming back on I have to stop and either wiggle the wires or bang on the marker lights

I've owned 3 VW diesels. 1 new beetle and 2 Passats. The first 2 were manual transmissions the current one is a manual. I love the fuel mileage and power of these engines. The creature comforts are pretty sweet although I miss that automatic windshield wipers and integrated garage door opener of my Touareg. It's a small price to pay to pass up the fuel pumps though. The trunk on the Passat is ridiculously huge. The clutch is the easiest I've ever had and that's something with my 64 year arthritic knees.

Dealership hid the fact that the hood was scratched and the vehicle had damage and was never reported to car fax

I got this For my mom who hasn't had a new car in 20 years. It's great! The MPGs are amazing, we avg 36 and she drives around town. It's roomy and easy for her to get out of after having some knees issues. The deep blue is a beautiful color and stands out from other Passats around town. She loves the back up camera and touch screen radio. The touch screen is so easy for her to use! It's simple car and she loves the extra kick the little engine has. It's just enough power for her. It does surprisingly well in the snow for FWD car. It blasts through any snow we have had, and we can get a lot here in Denver.

Sold my 2015 Jetta TDI SE for the Buy Back and Bought a NEW 2015 Passat TDI SEL Prem Diesel in 2017. Really like the car but don't know WHY the Driver seat does not go all the way down as does the passenger seat. Will be talking to Volkswagen about that.My Jetta driver seat went all the way down. Other wise very good performance and mileage. Comfort is really nice.

Have one since June 2015. Very reliable so far, with very good mileage, low maintenance and great performance (acceleration, maneuverability, braking). It is a sports car disguised as a family car. Lot's of room, but very low vehicle.
