Money Pit

Volvos are the safest car around, and also the least reliable. The 1996 850s are infamous for strut and suspension issues. The car has a flame trap that must be cleaned out or it will kill the car. The car has great performance, very stable and fuel efficient, but it continually breaks down from normal wear and tear..beyond regular oil changes the car requires expensive repairs several times a year. It's simply not worth it. I am going to cut my loses and get something reliable.

The only car ive owned

This is my first car, l have one just like it and it is great! Mine doesn't have the wood grain but l don't need that. A+ 100% the best car from the 90's!!!!!!!!!

Volvos Go Forever!

I own and drive a 1995 Volvo standard Wagon. it has 261,000 miles on it and we've "loved"/"abused" it to the full extent of the law yet it continues to run with minor repairs needed. Even at 261,000 these cars are still in great shape if they're kept up to date with repairs and other things of that sort. i would definately get another 850.
