Such a beautiful and reliable car!

This car is perfect for us! Great car for the money. It's nice and clean with no major issues. It's very reliable. It needed some rubber replacement around the windshield and a side mirror. The dealership is replacing this for us.

Most fun car I've owned

This car is a blast to drive! The turbo makes it exceptionally snappy, and the steering is tight and feels really good. The worst? Parts are expensive (come from overseas) and the car has seemed to need a lot of parts recently. For this reason, I am looking to sell it.

Most sexy looking car

This small car had enough legroom and space for my children and all their accouterments. It never broke down on me ever. My model was the prettiest with the metal handles and also the spoiler on the back. My husband said it fit me like a glove. Great support for back on the seats. The only disappointment I had was the way the lights burned out so quickly.

Reliable and Comfortable

I have owned my Volvo since 2013, and haven't had any major problems with it. I drive long distances, and the seats are extremely comfortable. More comfortable then Mercedes, BMW, and Audi in my opinion. Swedish interior design is also very nice. There is very little road noise, and the famous 5 cylinder engine is smooth and reliable.

A Joy To Drive

The S40 T5 is a very exciting car to drive through backroads. Its size, coupled with a 200+ horsepower engine and AWD makes acceleration quick with excellent feedback from the car. I have driven more powerful cars, but the size and dynamics of this car make it very special. I drive this car aggressively, and have put about $2,000 into it in repairs over about 3 years. Not awful for a 12 year old car, but not perfect. Inside, the ergonomics and style is very tasteful and simple. Volvo's styling is unique, but I love the minimalist approach and think that it works well. Materials feel high quality and the interior quality certainly stacks up against entry level Audi's and BMW's of the same age. Outside the styling is again quite simple and tasteful, following the minimalist approach. For its price of $5-$10,000 on the used market, there is not a better value. As a fun weekend driver or as a cheap ride, this car is great.

Best overall car I've owned.

Bought this car 2 years ago to replace my sporty Japanese coupe, due to my wife gething pregnant. This car offers both sporty driving and excellent luxury. I can drive in comfort with my family, and when I'm alone, I can drive for fun. This car compares to the BMW 330 series, and by all means, it blows it out of the water. The reliability of this car has been amazing thus far. Zero maintenance over the last 40,000 miles.

Great car

When looking for a used car, I wanted to find something comfortable, had all wheel drive, and was reasonable with gas consumption. The S40 T5 met those requirements and then some. I'm a big believer in this car. It handles great, has plenty of power and is very reliable. While the maintenance of this vehicle is more expensive than originally expected, the trade off is well worth it. The car is very safe and feels that way when driving. Handles very well in snow and slippery conditions. The T5 has the horsepower and pick up to get up to speed as well as pass when needed. It's a great car and I'm very happy with it.
