Comfy, Safe, and Smooth

Bought used in 2005 when found out that I was having twins. Plenty of room, the heated seats are great, looks good and runs well. Have had various minor problems from leaking power sterring reservoir to CV boot crack. False errors on the computer read out an annoyance. Will definiely look at Volvo again for next car.

Sleeper

My 2001 Volvo V70 2.4T is a great car! The turbocharged 5 cylinder engine makes 197 horsepower and 210 furious lbs of torque. It looks like a mommy car but it is very fast. Even with brand new tires it can spin both front wheels easily! This station wagon suprises many people and is faster than many sports cars. It has a magnignificant interior. This car is so comfortable with heat leather seats. These cars are also inexpensive for what you get. At first I was not crazy over the exterior styling but it grew on me. This car has a reserved sleek look to it. This is simply a great Volvo!

Fun to drive despite the soccer mom looks!

I bought this car used 2 years ago and surprised myself as I prefer sports cars and eco cars... that being said I also whitewater kayak.... so this car is more ecological then an SUV, handles almost as well as a sports car (much better then mushy SUVs) AND my kayak will fit inside AND I can sleep inside if I get to a campground late at night.... the comfort level for trips is Superior and the reliability is great. If they made this in a hybrid and added a stick shift I would be the first one in line! Even so I am thinking of possibly a used V50 may be in my future if the kayak fits. Love the car. I was shocked at how fun to drive this car was despite it's size. These cars are really well kept secrets. Someone convinced me to try one and I love it as much as my Acura!

Love this car!

We love this car, and would really like to just buy Volvo's all the time in the future. Don't know if we can afford another one. We've had no mechanical problems or any other problems with this V70 at all.
