2021 Volvo XC40 consumer reviews

Safety and security were no one objectives. This car delivers on those. Ride is smooth and comfortable. Performance is not spectacular. but we opted NOT to get the T5 so we made a compromise. Most security features we were able to find at this price point.

I have only had the car a week but already in love! It handles well, has all the amenities I was looking for and I'm in love with the color. I went with a smaller SUV this time but I'm not missing the extra length except parking -- so much easier and so much more room in my garage! I love the added cover over the trunk. You can't see what's inside the trunk thanks to the attached cover. It goes up automatically with the door and I love that the floor cover converts to a handy grocery bag holder. So many things that I hadn't thought of.

I needed a smaller SUV and this car fits all the criteria I was looking for, compact but without compromising, stylish, playful and I also feel super safe driving it.

This car is everything I wanted, gorgeous design, impecable safety features and easy to drive and handle. Its size meets my needs perfectly. I like the fact that not everyone owns one.

We compared the X1, x2, and q3 with the XC40 and decided the latter was by far the best choice. We are totally happy with that decision: tech, comfort, safety, styling, design- the whole package.
