2007 Volvo XC90 consumer reviews

We (my family and I) love our 2007 Volvo XC90! We have the V8 Sport, and the power it supplies is AMAZING! Such a great feel and ride, and the Premium Audio System (DYNAudio) is 100 times better than the Bose system we had in our Acadia! We also love the Bi-Xeon Lights with Active Bending Lights! (Basically, when driving at night time, the headlights will turn up to 15? in either direction with the steering wheel.) The only problem with this car, the 3rd row seat is very small, but we've used it maybe once. So if you have a big family the XC90 might not be the car for you. But if you're big on luxury, reliability, power, and safety, the XC90 is the PERFECT car for you! I think we will stick with the Volvo brand from now on!

XC90 is worthy for your money for upper level SUV with very affortable price. It's comfortalbe, quiet, and very reliable. It is highly recommended for SUV drivers.

I have to drive across town to work amongst all the semi-trucks in the mornings and drive in the bad weather. I have never felt safer in any other automobile as this one. It has the power I need when I need it. Very comfortable for vacations. Lots of room for all our gear. I love my XC90!

An average vehicle, primarily because it does not offer much value for the money. Interior compartment is rather small for an SUV and the slope of the windshield makes it uncomfortable getting in and out. Interior quality is poor---cheap feel and lots of squeaks and noises. I also found the dealer routine maintenance costs are pretty expensive. Mechaically good (so far), although the warning messages are erratic. Priced as a luxury SUV, but other makes appear to offer greater quality and value.

I've had this car for 3 years now and have never had a problem besides replacing the front brakes. Comfortable. Great mid-size SUV. Third row seats are small and cramped, but if I needed to use the third row often I would have bought a bigger SUV...

i was in a car accident in the 2005 xc90. totaled the car. i was hit broadside by a car going about 50mph. although hospitaized for a week, the doctors said if it hadn't been a volvo i wouldn't have made it. you may not think much of the safety features, but now i do (and i will continue to).

Besides being ratest the safest vehicle in '07, this car is awesome to drive! It looks elegant on the outside, just as the inside. The inside is spacious and comfortable.

The safety record of this vehicle far surpasses any SUV we looked at. The ride quality is very impressive and the handeling responsive.

The car has had several problems since the purchased in Dec 07...though mostly addressed by the dealer...it has not been reliable
