We purchased a new RDX at the end of the Quarter. The dealership was quite busy, but we had the good fortune to be introduced to Randall Mathews as our sales person. He is clearly well informed and among the most personable sales professionals we have worked with in the auto industry. His knowledge of Acura of Boston's complete inventory and of the RDX in particular was impressive. After a thorough test drive, Randall showed great patience, had useful advice, and a wonderfully non-aggressive demeanor as we sorted out colors and option packages. Once we had agreed on a price, we discovered that we did not have enough time to complete the process. Randall volunteered to come in the following morning (which we later learned was his scheduled day off) to wrap things up. When we arrived at 8:30 he had the car all ready, including the added options. He did a great job setting up and familiarizing me with all of the electronics. I think I know more about the functionality of this new RDX after his tutorial, than I knew about the Acura TL that I had just traded in after several years of very satisfied ownership. He is a great ambassador for Acura and any dealership or Customer would benefit by his professional customer service. As we were driving off the lot in our beautiful new RDX, I noticed in the rear view mirror, Randall running to catch us. I had left my FastLane transponder in the turned in vehicle... Randall's sales manager, Curtis Hamilton, was also terrific to work with.
