Buying Experience For X5 At BMW of Peoria

While in the process to replace my 2014 Explorer Sport with a 2018 model, I did my normal evaluation path and checked out another dealer for a comparable vehicle. Since I had purchased a BMW from BMW of Peoria back in 2011 (and still own), I entered into their website to see what was available. There was a great selection of BMW X5 models in inventory so a scheduled an appointment with Carl Luthy, one of the client sales representatives.
On the day of the appointment, Carl was prepared to discuss all aspects of the potential purchase. We covered all of the features of the X5 along with a test dive. He made it possible to do a special qualification test on a new unit that was critical for my buying decision. I brought two 29 inch suitcases with me to see how they would fit in the cargo area of the X5. Since the weather was rather raw that day, Carl made a new X5 in the showroom available as our test candidate. Success! The bags fit perfectly and this made my quest and purchase decision even easier.
The rest of the buying experience was very relaxed and enjoyable. There was no heavy sales tactics to close a deal. The sales offer was very fair and the negotiations on my trade-in met my expectations. I also had some "special" requests as conditions of the sale and between Carl and his Sales Manager, Clinton Leman, both gentlemen worked diligently to reach our mutual agreement. A sale was made and the customer (me) was very pleased.
The entire staff at BMW is very friendly and customer focused on ultimate customer satisfaction. I have worked with Ryan Moran, the dealer Service Manager, over the past few years, and he and his team work just as hard to answer my technical questions and provide the desired service on my M3 coupe. He has worked with me on certain repairs where I have made special requests, and again, always with customer satisfaction as the end game.
I would recommend BMW of Peoria to any of my family members or my friends if they are in the market for a new premium vehicle like the BMW. I'm sure the same buying experience would be gained with a purchase of a pre-owned vehicle on their lot, as well.
