I absolutely love this vehicle. It’s stylish, gorgeous and performs well! It has excellent extra features. The only real negative (which is apparently something BMW took awhile to figure out) is that the radio doesn’t have regular Bluetooth capabilities for playing music. Considering I have a 2015, I would certainly expect they would have set that up but luckily I was able to set up SiriusXM. Otherwise, the car is a dream!

You'd think a company like BMW would have a handle on what works for their customers. I owned a 2015 BMW X1, and then purchased this new (redesigned) version. This new one has lots of issues that make the car very uncomfortable to drive.
The standard seats are not long enough and don't support your thighs very well. I'm 6'0 but not particularly big. This has been an issue on longer trips.
The cupholders are unusable buried in the front console. The 2015 model had easy to use cupholders.
BMW STILL doesn't support Apple CarPlay. I will not buy another car without it.
The GPS system is several generations behind the good ones like Garmin or even my iPhone. Directions are often wrong, traffic updates are slow to provide any alternatives, and the arrival time estimate is often wrong by a great deal. My iPhone gets it right all the time.
Finally, the tires provided are "run-flats". They are very hard riding tires, and they wear out very quickly (my current front tires were shot after 12,000 miles!). Replacements are expensive, and you can't get "regular" tires because there is no place to put the spare!

This car is great for a couple or single person but is a bit too small for a family. It handles well in all conditions.
I wanted to purchase a BMW for my wife for christmas. John made the whole process easy and straight forward. I was able to get the certified car she wanted at a good price. When my wife came to the dealership to pick up the car John had the car pulled into the showroom with a large red bow on the hood and a sign wishing merry christmas. None of these things in themselves are that extrodenary , but made me and my wife very happy. I would certainly recommend John Steele as someone you should speak with if you are even thinking of getting into a BMW.

BMW makes a great product. What many may not know is they loose value at an incredible rate. I purchased a used X1 last month. This one is 3yrs old had 21k miles and was priced at 22k. The list price only three years ago was 49k. While someone else took the depreciation hit I was able to take advantage of the loss and get a great value. I am averaging 30mpg and it’s fun to drive. Has all the bells and whistles of 2015 model year. I will say the back seat leg room is the only real complaint but with that being said it’s the smallest X series so that’s to be expected
I highly recommend anyone looking for an awesome value to look at this model as well as any other model. You will not be disappointed with car or the value of one when purchasing one that is 3-4years old. Again BMW makes a great product. This is our third BMW and they have all made it comfortably past 100k with only routine scheduled maintenance and the usual repairs/replacement of wear items. Brake,tires,wipers

My first expensive car and I hated it. Suspension felt cheap, technology was horrible and the interior was not comfortable at all. Charged for every extra. Also the dealership was not nice - BMW Freeport NY - salesman handled a few customers at same time and just kept us waiting and waiting and waiting.
WE were very impressed with the level of knowledge that our sales professional (Gina) had. Gina knew every detail regarding the vehicle we ultimately purchased. Also had the need to use the service facility during our first 6 weeks and the service professionals were equally as professional. Car was fixed on time and returned in showroom ready condition. I will definitely go back to Tulley in the future.

I got in love with this car, when I drove the same model, as a loaner car to San Diego. This is the most comfortable I have ever been driving a car on a long trip. The car has plenty of room to relax your legs specially on long trips. It has a double compartment in the trunk where you can fit extra luggage. I really love this car.
Mike Resto, our sales rep was awesome, as well as the rest of the team! Mike is the one who really made the experience very personable and enjoyable. This will be the dealership we go to for all of our future vehicle needs and wants.

Robert was great from the appointment making to the car being in to service. I was updated several times with updates and pick up time . I was goven a loaner car and it was the easiest service visit ever . Dropped it off and picked it up with nothing I was not notified about and the quality of everything was top quality. Robert followed up with me several times via text and email to make sure I loved the work and my car . I can???t rave more about the team at Herp Chambers! They are great!

I have only had the car for a couple of months so don't have a lot of experience with it. Car seems reliable. Handles corners like no other car I have owned. Starting to go from a complete stop seems different from other vehicles but think its something I just need to get used to. The information screen lacks compared to other vehicles but is still good. So far we are happy with the car. Love the gas mileage. We do mostly city driving and are getting an average of 25MPGs.

I have the best service advisor - Ken Meltzer. He has always advocated for me and made sure my car was fixed perfectly and I felt happy with the outcome and know that my car is maintained the best it can be and I know I am driving a safe vehicle. Also, it is always a pleasant experience there - which has not been the case at other dealerships. Thats why I stay here!

I have owned many BMW's over the years and they never cease to put a smile on my face. The build quality, engineering, and performance are top notch. My only regret is that BMW now uses run flat tires and while I've had them on other BMW's, I still don't like their ride comfort.
Kenny Meltzer's top job objective is to create and maintain satisfied customers. He addresses every issue as if it were about his own vehicle. My most recent visit was unscheduled and impromptu. Kenny found a way to fit me into the hour I had available, and completed all my my service needs. Herb Chambers' organization is fortunate to have Ken Meltzer in a customer-facing position. He is your best advertisement.

Been driving the car for a few days now and fall in love with it the more I drive it! I love the Parking assist! Its CRAZY what technology can do nowadays haha!
Overall, very comfortable! I wish they made back window a but wider and I’m not to fond of where they placed cupholders but other than that, no major complaints!
I found Manny to be extremely knowledgeable about the product,extremely helpful with regard to getting the deal done, accommodating my schedule and needs, very upbeat , his positive attitude made my experience with BMW of Sudbury the best car buying experiences I've ever had. My wife assisted us in making the decision and she too shares my opinion of Manny

Surprising amount of cargo space, ?peppy? engine and excellent visibility. Fuel economy is fantastic for a sport-ute. Styling is contemporary. Looks great in dark colors with 18 or 19 inch wheels.
My wife and I recently purchased a car from Alex Robbins and are loving it. Alex found my wife and I wandering around in the parking lot he stopped to chat with us and took the time to get to know our needs without pressure or expectation. He eventually found exactly what we were looking for, arranged to have it come in so I could drive it despite it being a loaner, managed to pull it from the loaner fleet and get it ready on a tight timeline, and delivered the car. He provided his cell and was incredibly responsive throughout. There were times when we came in and Alex was busy helping other customers but he took the time to literally sprint across the dealership to make sure we could get our inspection before they closed for the day. He was personable, diligent, thoughtful, patient and provided the highest level of service.

Recently, my husband was involved in a serious MVA, a seven car disaster in which all cars were totaled. If not for the high quality of BMW there’s no way he would be alive today. Even the insurance adjuster could not believe he walked away from the accident. Thank you BMW for saving my husband,s life!

I’ve always driven a small sedan and thought SUVs were big and hard to maneuver. On the recommendation of our ’car guy,’ I drove this and I love it! Drives only slightly more ’trucky’ than my cars and has great room, is easy to maneuver; super comfortable!
The design of my new BMW X1 is great. The SAV drives smoothly and handles like a charm. There interior is spacious and roomy. My child loves the fact that the backseat is not elevated like my previous vehicle , therefore, she has plenty of head room. The back cargo area large and can be expanded with the folding rear seats. Overall, this is a great vehicle!
I very rarely write reviews, this is an exception and worthy of time to do so. I recently purchased a vehicle from Land Rover Jaguar in Peabody MA. My salesperson was Vito and I have to say he changed my perception of car salespeople. He is honest, straightforward and follows through with what he says he is going to do. He returns calls, email and voicemail promptly. I highly recommend you ask for him if purchasing from the dealership. He is an exception to the norm. I also dealt with Tom Hamilton, the pre-owned car manager. Again, a wonderful experience and a very solid person, very motivated to give a exceptional client experience.- and did so with me. Finally, I dealt with Gus from the finance department. Typically, in my experience, these are pressure-oriented situations. Gus was zero pressure, straight to the point and very informative. After doing my research I bought the extended warranty for my vehicle. This was truly a wonderful client experience working with Peabody Land Rover Jaguar.
