New and used 2025 BMW X5 for sale near Lansdowne, VA

We had a great experience at DARCARS Volvo in Fairfax. I reached out to confirm the availability of one of the used cars and Tim, the manager, quickly responded. We made an appointment for the next day and the car was out front ready for us. Tim referred us to Lonnell, who was very personable and straight forward. We were happy with the car and settled with their finance manager. Not huge space, but very comfortable and nice layout inside.

Biggest negative on the X5 is the run flat tires. I think they reduce the quality of the ride and at 5,000 miles had to replace two flat tires ---- non-repairable damage.

As of now I have visited them about 5 times, and have never had any less than exceptional service, from the sales to service, to customer service. Highly recommend

Great car. Wish it didn't come with run flat tires which I believe lessens the quality of the ride, and they wear out quickly. Other than that, no real complaints. Car is truly the ultimate driving machine.

Purchased my fifth BMW, a 2025 X5 m40i. My last BMW was A 2024 X5 M60i so I have a little experience with both the V6 and V8 X5. The 8 cylinder is a beast and very fast, but the X5 is more of a luxury SUV than a performance car, so I opted for the Turbo Charged six cylinder. Plenty of power and about 10 mpg better gas mileage. I enjoy technology and have all the available packages. I find the tech reliable and easy to operate. I have 22” black wheels on my BMW, so I opted for the optional wheel and tire warranty as I’ve always had wheels fail by hitting pot holes, etc.

My car experience was excellent. I found my new car online and it was available at the Rockville dealership which is a nice facility. I was not at the dealership for hours. It was a fast process and when I picked up the vehicle the next day they took their time showing me how to work the elaborate features in my car. Great and friendly staff. Shout out to my salesman Brian.

First SUV. This X5 is the best. Looks, ride, technology , athletic, and base motor is strong. This is my 6th BMW they just keep getting better..

Jon my service coordinator ALWAYS keeps me updated on the progress of my vehicle?s service. I feel like he is looking out the customer and not trying to sell unnecessary services. He does an excellent job!

Seems my car was not completely ready so had to come back to complete the process and that lasted 5h vs 1h initially communicated + i was asked to pay (so communication between services could be enhanced)

i made the deal with the sales Rep. Shahul and i had the best experience ever. (I HAD BEEN IN CONTACT WITH DEALERS IN NEW YORK, DALLAS AND ATLANTA BUT NO ONE OFFERED ME THE TIME AND EFFORT LIKE SHAHUL IN MD. He answered all my questions and we had a deal with in 3 hours over the phone including my trade in car. (i wanted the car for Christmas and he made it happen. The next day i drove from New York and the car was ready as promised, signed the documents and i was out of the door with a new car and best wishes for arriving safely home.(Christmas Eve i arrived with my new car at home) i got a follow up call as soon as i arrived in New York. Everyone I interacted with, from the front desk to the service team was professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. They exceeded all my expectations every time. My Service Advisor, Mauricio has a high caliber of professionalism, incredibly attentive to my needs, and answered all my questions thoroughly. It is particularly noteworthy that the Service Manager, Carlos is recognized for creating a comfortable environment for customers, making them feel valued and at ease during their visit. What criteria do you have in shopping your next used vehicle? 1. You want to buy a used car that is believed to be absolutely trouble free (Equivalent to a certified grade). 2. You are ok to buy a car at a fair market price (You are not trying to find a steal deal or to negotiate a price). 3. You hate sales pitch. Then go to Carmax. This is my best advice based on my past car buying experiences with all sorts of car dealers. You can't go wrong with Carmax if the above three are your criteria. Carmax set an extremely high standard in their car reconditioning protocols. Carmax certification is as good as manufacturer's certifications. Meanwhile, you will be discouraged if you come to Carmax in hope to find a steal deal, because all of their cars are priced RIGHT, and they never give you a room to negotiate over the price. This means that they don't play games, and they don't let you play games, either. They are fair. You have to be fair, too. A good news is, they don't try to steal your money. So don't try to steal theirs. However, I have one serious advice: Get pre-approved by a local credit union before coming to Carmax. While Carmax too does offer financing, their repayment rule has a catch. Say your monthly payment was set to $100. If you put $500 at once, you expect that the extra $400 would automatically go to principal payment, right? Not with Carmax financing. Instead, the first $300 goes to the three upcoming monthly payments, and only the remaining $200 will go to principal payment. If you intend to pay off your auto loan quick, this repayment rule that they set up is a deal breaker. A good thing is, they will gladly let you use your credit union financing; they won't pressure you into choosing their financing service. Good luck, and never go back to liars that live in the rest of the world.
