I just purchased a 2022 Cayman S from Motorcars Limited. It was one of the best car buying experiences that I've ever had. Mark was a no-pressure salesman, Scott was great in their finance department (he gave me great advice on record keeping for the car), and Gary, the sales manager, was easy to talk to. The showroom is immaculate, and the selection of high-end vehicles is worth the trip (I traveled 80 miles to visit see the car). I will definitely buy another car from this company.

Very comfortable, with massaging seats plus heated and cooled seats. I’m not sure that it’s a great value because it is expensive. The adaptive cruise control and the lane keeping work very well and almost make it self-driving.

The car was fairly priced and they worked with me to participate in new tires (tires on it were fine, I just wanted different brand) and new brakes (all Porsche parts!). This is the most underrated gems in the used diesel SUV market—but only if you’re the right kind of owner. Powered by the soon becoming legendary M57 inline-six diesel engine, this version of the E70 X5 combines German engineering with long-haul durability if treated right….and by treated right, I mean ideally maintained by someone who can turn a wrench and not the type of owner who wants to drop it off at the dealership for every noise or light. This vehicle is ideal for the hands-on car enthusiast who appreciates the mechanical integrity of a proper diesel engine and doesn’t mind putting in garage time to keep it in good shape. If you're someone who already loves BMWs and understands their quirks, this vehicle will feel like a rewarding project and a fantastic daily driver in one package. The M57 diesel engine is incredibly robust and becomes one of the best engines only with one huge caveat…the emissions equipment needs to be removed. In fact, I would not recommend owning this vehicle if you don’t plan or cannot do this in your state legally. Once deleted, this engine opens up and delivers a strong blend of torque, horse power and efficiency, making it an excellent tow vehicle. It's perfect for hauling a car trailer, camper, or family gear around without struggle. Stock, it’s already torquey, but with the deletes and a mild tune, this becomes a real beast without sacrificing reliability...and if given a race tune, this thing will hurt other drivers' feelings pulling from stop lights or on the freeway. The chassis overall is “decent” (Being said by a vintage BMW enthusiast, this is very much a compliment to today’s standards), but there are known maintenance pain points that a mechanically inclined owner should be aware of. If you plan to purchase from a used dealership or private seller, you’ll most likely need to do a suspension refresh including replacement of struts, bushings, arms etc.…possibly an engine refresh including valve cover seals, intake manifold cleaning and replacement of other various leaky seals…work on the cooling system including but not limited to replacing lines, hoses, main/expansion coolant tank as these are plastic and will crack and fail due to heat over time. There will be some normal interior wear including the finishes of center console buttons peeling off but are easily replaceable. Something important to note when purchasing is the interior sunroof shade condition, including whether it is completely operable and if there are any signs of sagging/peeling fabric. Any issue with the sunroof should reflect in the price as this item is very intricate, expensive, and difficult to work on. These aren’t dealbreakers though...just things to note when looking to purchase and if they’ve been covered in recent maintenance...if they haven't, plan for work that will inevitably need to be done. Again, don’t expect it to be hands-off, you’ve got to earn this one…But if you're up for the task, you’ll be rewarded with one of BMW’s most versatile platforms.

As a proud BMW owner since mid-eighties, to include owning a 2001 E-53 X5 while stationed overseas; the 2011 X5 50i is one of the best-looking and best performing BMW SUV we've owned (especially with sport activity package, adaptive drive, and dynamic stability control). In 2011, our newly purchased X5 E70 with MSRP of over $80K, was loaded with all BMW options offered, expect active cruise control. When we recently purchased a BMW X7, the BMW dealer trade offer was low, so we decided to keep our X5 with only 48.8K miles, my wife loves it. The only major repairs we have done so far are to replace the oil pan gasket (due to a small leak), and a couple of new batteries. The X5 still runs like new, and we plan to keep it as long as possible.

I was 100% pleased. I was looking for a certain Mercedes auto and I knew I may have to look nationwide and make a purchase without visiting the dealer. I found the car here and a few other places. I messaged the Bellingham location and I received a response promptly. I interacted with Drew who was very professional and personable. First of all everything in the ad was exactly truthful and correct. The automobile was pristine and well serviced. The car fax was accurate as I double checked it through another source. The sales team was reasonable with me negotiating the sale price and we quickly can to an agreement. I had trouble personally arranging for transportation of the vehicle because it was so very far away from me. Drew offered to arrange transportation for the vehicle. I had some issues with one of the terms of the arrangement but Drew was able to understand and accommodate my concern. All the paperwork was completed expeditiously and thoroughly. Throughout the whole process communication was timely, pleasant and efficient. When I received the automobile I was totally satisfied and pleased.

This 4000 lb beast maneuvers like a sports car. As someone who's always been passionate about cars, I leaned towards vehicles like the 3 series coupe or Audi A5. However, when the need for family space arose, SUVs felt dull. Then I got behind the wheel of the X5. It's a revelation—you truly don't have to compromise. Though we were looking at cars 10K to 22K, he did not try to push us upward. Drew is an asset to the company. And he knows the best hotels, coffee and bakeries available if you are hungry or traveling. Would absolutely recommend this dealership and salesman!

Our 2022 X5 was a beautiful car to us. Unfortunately it didn't work for us as my wife is handicapped and found it difficult to get in and out of - it's higher than one would expect and came to realize the seats are more inboard than other cars that are direct competitors. The 3 inch door sill was almost like a running board and contributed to her struggles. Even though we had the multi-contour seats, we found the lower cushion seat side bolsters too firm for any drive more than an hour. The seat back was fine. While driving around town and 2 lanes was great, it didn't track as well on the highway as one would expect, even after an alignment (it was off at delivery). Our old Volvos were much better in that regard. The positives include the exterior and interior design/layout, the quality, ride, handling and power. It also still has a few buttons, albeit a bit small when driving. The headlights were awesome and the gas mileage was better than expected, 21 around town and 28+ on the highway. Our situation is unique, and after 7 months we sold the car to a tall, able bodied couple.

An amazing model ... one of the best in X5 series is the X50i ... the beige leather interior is as sophisticated as one can imagine ... overall a great car ...

This my first BMW x5 sdrive. I bought it used with 61,000 miles. Everything works perfect. I just had it serviced at BMW of Murrieta California and as expected it showed with no issues. Came out with flying colors! Poor

This car replaced an older BMW X5 that was stolen. I love how it handles in the snow. I swore I wouldn’t get another BMW but couldn’t beat the quality and price .

I love this car so much! As a traveling doctor, this vehicle has safely climb passes cover in snow and ice, held steady on black ice, muscled through torrential downpour rain and never faultered. Between the traction control, quick response, no accidents. And when its dry road, it handles like a sports car. All the while I am surrounded with an amazing audio system.

I have a question everyone . I have a 2008 bmw x5 . It has 183,000 miles on it . It’s has a 4x4 light on engine and a triangle looking thing on top . I want to drive it 9 hours back and fourth , would it make it there ? How far have yall driving yall bmw ?

Have only owned my 2008 4.8 x5 for 6 months but owned a 2009 328 I for years never any major problems I’ve seen the reviews saying the x5 isn’t that great now I’m scared to own it lol the previous owner took care of it well it has 258000 km but drives amazing I’m hoping that all the major issues it had was already resolved any feed back should I sell or keep this x5??!

This Dealer is a fraud. I went to see the car. It cant even start. One of the salespeople told me to run from the car. It smokes, and shakes, and the check engine light is on along with ever other light on the dash. Run Run

I bought my 2009 X5 4.8 liter used with 40k miles on it. Driven it 110,000 additional miles to date and it has been an AWESOME car. Reliable, strong and drives more like a sports car than an SUV. The body style has been overhauled by BMW 3 times since then, yet even at this age the car looks elegant and solid inside and out. German engineering at its best!! Can't wait to get my new one.

2012 X5 35D. Over 180,000 Miles with very few repairs, I noticed some reviews on here seem to be for the gas version wich I wouldn't recommend due to repair /maintenance cost. I get around 24_25mpg with it plenty fast ,I also tow 2 motorcycles on a 3 rail bike trailer ,still get 22 mpg and you don't really even notice that the trailer and bikes are there, Comfy ,stylish , great torque fir a mid size suv. I plan to buy another and sell my current one around 200k.
