I have owned Mercedes GLS, Lincoln Navigator, Infiniti QX80, and now Escalade ESV. The Escalade has been my favorite. I now have 120,000 miles on it and have only had to replace shocks. Electronics work beautifully, it is unbelievably comfortable, and there is nothing like the looks of an Escalade! My only complaint is the well-known 1st to 2nd gear occasional kick from the transmission. Dealer has looked at it multiple times (flushed & reprogrammed) with not much luck. 2WD most of the time and throw it into Auto 4WD when Ohio winters hit and this thing eats snow and grabs the road like you wouldn’t believe. Have never even switched it to 4High or 4Lo. Well done, Cadillac!

I had it serviced by local Caddy dealer for seven years, every 5K miles, oil/tire rotation/full service wash for under $100. Original tires lasted 68K miles. Just “sold” it to my son. Bought the ‘19 in ‘18 off the lot at 90K- have never held onto a vehicle this long. I can not upgrade this model- better then the ‘23 thanks to world issues that affect vehicle manufacturing. After 3 trips to the dealership we wound up buying the used 2022 CX-9 we had been looking at all along. We appreciated the courtesy, professionalism, knowledge of the product, and minimal sales pressure of Taylor, the sales rep. He went out of his way to help us before, during, and after the selling process. The only reason for our review's less than perfect 5 is that a follow up email to obtain contract information, and a postal mailing of an owner's manual were both forgotten resulting in us having to make needless 25 mile drives back to the dealership. These were promised by a finance person, not the sales person.

This is a really great vehicle. It drives very smoothly. It's definitely luxury filled. I'm glad a went with this as opposed to a Tahoe or Yukon.

So far a really nice SUV. I just feel like with the price on Escalades, they missed on the interior design. You can really get on the gas when driving but the takeoff is really heavy. It almost feels really slow. Not sure on the idle but not as smooth as I would like. But it looks great! This SUV is a head turner and will standout. Just don't be afraid to spend money if you need to. Luxury SUVs are like women. They need money and love. Give them that and they will be around for a while.
