Used Chevrolet Equinox EV for sale near Sherman, TX

Only went looking for a used car and see what they would have. Ended up driving home in a new car. Doug and the entire staff were professional and welcoming and no pressure for this car purchase. If you looking for a car give this little dealership a look you may be surprised not just by their selection but by the all around feel of the dealership and the friendly people here. Well worth the drive.

My Equinox EV has exceeded expectations. It is stylish, roomy and has more than enough power. Charging at home is a breeze and charging on the road takes time and good planning. I highly recommend recommend this car.

Will not use any other dealer unless this one closes. They try to make a living, not rob you like others.

So I love this car only bad thing is no Apple car play. I have the AWD and it feels so good in the snow has lots of room compared to the Bolt EUV and the range is wonderful.

Pros: - lots of miles on a full charge; inexpensive to run. - excellent ride - fantastic take-off and acceleration, although you can run into intense torque steer. - Comfortable inside. Well insulated for noise. - Beautiful and large LED screen which is easy to use. Tilted toward the driver which is another plus. - The myChevrolet app is great for getting the car warmed up / cooled ahead of time. - Very attractive exterior - more so than the EV Blazer. - Good controls that allow you to select more specific conveniences, door lock features and the like. Cons: - Cheap interior with a lack of fit and finish. - No grab handle for the driver's side door. - Awful stereo system. The 2024 EV did not offer a Bose system option. The one included sounds like a transistor radio. - Severe dashboard glare on a sunny day. Very hard to see outside. - Brake and gas pedals are too high. A smart move would have been to make them adjustable. - The door handles are useless. They automatically open in regular weather but forget that idea if the car freezes over. The insides of the handles are slippery - no grip at all. - To turn the car off, you have to reach behind the steering wheel and press a little Power button on the screen. Why? - The bottom of the steering wheel where the bottom spoke meets the wheel has sharp plastic edges where you can easily scrape your hand if you like to hold the wheel at that position. - Takes longer to warm up than a gas car. - The center to window edge roll of the windshield wipers is just not necessary and they are awkward. It's not a bus for crying out loud. - Interior back hatch release button is hard to find and on the dash, rather than having it on the door. - the manual climate controls are hard to reach and difficult to figure out. - The wiper controls are on the left and are a bunch of mixed controls that make you fumble through the thing to figure out which item to turn on. Should have been kept on the right hand side.

Very pleased with the entire buying process at Leman's Chevy. Carson was great, he sent us a personal video of the vehicle and it was just as he described once we arrived for the test drive. We returned our leased 2022 Bolt EUV and leased a 2025 Equinox. My wife really wanted the new 2026 Bolt but it wasn’t available yet. I love the bigger feel and roominess of the Equinox, but admit its size makes parking more challenging. Quiet and smooth ride on standard 19” wheels and higher profile Michelins. Really nothing negative to say about the Equinix, other than a bit of a learning curve with some aspects of the tech stuff. Chevy has done an excellent job of providing both great cars with the best pricing. For the practical person it’s a no brained. Oh and the range is awesome at 350+/- miles!!!

I live far from this dealership but they had exactly what I was looking for. The whole experience was very favorable . Everyone I has contact with was very professional and courteous. The salesman I worked with Joe Kendall was excellent. The day after the purchase I noticed that a light strip was missing on one of the outside mirrors. The service dept fixed it. In my opinion they are a top notch GM dealership . Keep up the good work😀
