I'm a SATISFIED customer of a 2018 Volvo XC60 T6 AWD-Maple!!

This is my second attempt to send A+ praise. On the 3rd of April 2018 I drove off the lot in my brand new 2018 Volvo. I wish to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for the folks at Volvo Cars, Silver Spring, MD for their excellent efforts in assisting me with this, my "bucket list " purchase. Special thanks and appreciation are offered to Mr. Samuel Soroka, Sales & Leasing Consultant as well as to Mr. Robert Booska, Service Advisor. I initially met Sam in mid January 2018 and stated my interest in purchasing a Volvo SUV. I had accomplished some studying and had a pretty good idea of what I wanted. I pointed out that I was not in a rush to buy. Sam understood and from that point there was never any sales pressure (which was appreciated). We set about the task of reviewing all of the specifications, costs, material and purchase options, estimated delivery date(s) and final vehicle transfer requirements. During the test drive of another XC60 in got to experience many of the features that until then were just words or video descriptions. Needless to say, I purchased serveral options. Sam was very knowledgeable at explaining all of the new and technical capabilities and very patient at ensuring I understood their functionalities. Admittedly, I'm still on the learning curve and will be for a while as I continue to enjoy the sensations of learning something new each time I master the use of another XC60 feature. In that light, this Volvo will be "new" for a long time. When delivery day arrived (Tue, 3APR18), Sam was kind enough to assist me with a transportation problem. He agreed and actually picked me from the Silver Spring Metro Station in his privately owned Volvo and brought me to the dealership where the finalities were conducted. It was during this time that I was also introduced to Mr. Booska. We reviewed and signed all of the appropriate paperwork and I was provided with a very clear and concise explanations regarding the financing and servicing requirements. Before departing, Sam sat with me in my new Volvo and took the time to ensure I was comfortable and pleased with my vehicle and with the entire transaction.
