Used 2024 Ford Edge for sale near Council Bluffs, IA

Extremely pleased with the comfort and ride on my new 2024 Ford Edge Titanium. Have previously owned two Explorers and two Edges. Thought my 2022 Explorer rode very quiet, had lots of power and very comfortable. , but this Edge is significantly better all around than the Explorer. I wish it had intelligent 4 wheel drive with the rear drive primary. I will deal with the AWD version. It handles extremely well with a solid quiet ride and tight turning radius. It has a very large 7x10 touch screen mounted vertically in the middle of the dash. You can control almost every possible setting on this. Totally loaded and worth the extra cost. It is so comfortable we can drive 13-14 hours straight though on our trips to Florida . Drive it, you won’t be disappointed.

After getting the run around from other dealerships for weeks I reached out to Woodhouse Buick of Omaha and took a chance to ask some questions. Sales consultant Zach Nielsen stepped up to the plate with honesty and transparency. It was an easy process and in no way I questioned if I was making a good choice. The overall experience was something that all customers should have the courtesy of having when buying a vehicle. All I can say is, “Thank you”. After having lost some confidence with trying to purchase a vehicle with other places it was refreshing and a relief to know that a customer can be assured that is not the case everywhere. From asking questions regarding availability, pricing, financing, test driving, warranties, picking up for delivery, and all else every single detail was covered. For the deception I felt when talking to other places not one piece of negativity was ever felt in working with Woodhouse Buick of Omaha. I was able to purchase a quality vehicle without the hassle and at an agreed fair price. This was a first purchase for me at this dealership. It is definitely a place I will use again. I also appreciated having some options in their inventory with the specifics I was searching to purchase. Too many times a person wonders if there are other vehicles that may be better elsewhere. I did not. I found what I wanted that fits the needs for myself and my family. As every dollar counts in a purchase I signed papers feeling that it was a win-win situation for both sides. Even with having the vehicle for a few days I appreciate having people following up making sure about satisfaction. That about says it all.

2024 is the last year of this two-row SUV. Though it is built on an older design/platform, the Edge is the perfect commuting vehicle. The Edge gets great gas mileage and handles extremely well. The AWD system works well and from past experience with the Edge, we know it handles terrifically in inclement weather. We were able to custom order an SEL with very specific options. We loved that Ford allowed a la carte ordering and we were able to get all the extras we wanted. We are averaging over 30MPG with a couple of thousand miles on the vehicle. The Edge weighs a lot for such a compact crossover, but that’s why we like it safe and hugs the road very well. Plenty of space for a 2-row crossover, offering both excellent passenger comfort and storage capacity. We highly recommend the 2024 Edge to those needing a reliable crossover, a daily commuter, or a safe small family hauler. Consumer Reports absolutely loves this vehicle, and as a 3x owner through the years, I can confirm the reasons why CR loves the Edge. It’s been a great run for the Edge, one of the greatest crossovers ever built.

Looked on the interweb and found a truck that was the right color and had all the features I wanted. Needed extended range gas tank for travel and had to have lumbar support in the drivers seat. I like my new Ford pick'emup truck. Jeff the sales person at Woodhouse wasn't high pressure and closed the deal. This is the second truck I've bought from Woodhouse. Wish Ford sold the XL trucks with a power seat option.

I worked out the purchase, flew out to Iowa where the salesman met me at the airport and took me over to the dealership. I went over the vehicle, did some paperwork, and drove home in my new truck! I owned a 2017 Fusion Platinum and did not want to get a SUV. Knowing the Edge was based on the same platform, I gave the 2024 a spin. I was impressed. It drove, handled, braked, and steered very well. I drove many cars, and even though Ford had not redesigned in a while, it was more enjoyable to drive than the Audi Q5 and Lexus RX. I rated the value a 3 because it is expensive. The Titanium Elite price is in the Lexus/Audi ballpark. I really wanted the Audi because I have owned some in the past, but the Edge was more sporty and more comfortable. I drove the ST and I was surprised that it did not feel a lot faster. This wqas the same with the Fusion. You can tell the ST was faster, but it did not jump off the line like I was expecting. I was disappointed the edge lost some equipment from the past as it is being phased out. So I added it. I added the hood insulation, the engine cover, the cargo cover, LED lighted sill plates, and the laminated acoustic glass on the front doors, all purchased from FORD dealers to make sure they were the real deal. I also added the keyless entry keypad (securicode). I was really disappointed they deleted securicode. The interior is not flashy like an Audi, but I like that it is understated. The carmello seat and door inserts make the car very audi-ish and special. It is too bad this is the last year. The Lincoln Nautilus lives on as the next generation in the USA. I can tell it has roots from the Fusion. That is also gone.

I just leased a new Ford F-150 and had a great experience. My sales associate was Richard, he was a great guy. I knew right when I met him that he was gonna be the right fit for me. He was knowledgeable, informative, and not pushy. He was just a stand-up guy. I appreciated that.

We had a good experience working with Justin at Village Pointe Toyota. He worked very hard to make the process a good one. However, We were delayed for over an hour in completing the final paperwork process. It was odd because our appt was at 10:30 am. There wasn't alot going on but for some reason we were kept waiting with no real explanation. It just felt that the salesperson had to keep stalling us. I feel like they should have been more up front as to what the delay was for and we might not have felt so frustrated.

Gary Combs and Brian Sich have always ensured they listen to our needs and have directed us to vehicles that fit our requirements. The finance department (Aaron Cohen and staff) is one of the fastest that you will ever deal with. He will go to whatever level of details to ensure you understand the details of the financing of your car. The service department has always been top notch. Service and courtesy is what Woodhouse Lincoln does best, if not, talk to Matt. We have enjoyed our long relationship with this dealership and hope you enjoy it as well.

The Sales person was great and was very helpful and answered, my question. How his manger would give me very much on my trade in. I feel the magner did not want to work with me since I was buying a used truck.
