This is my 2nd Escape Hybrid (previous one was a previous-generation 2006) that I have well over 100K miles. It is comfortable to drive, serves my every SUV versatile need, and gives me great CITY mileage for a 4x4 SUV. Although it lacks some of the tech bells & whistles that have come to grace cars in the years since this was built, I still love driving it. It was sad to see that they stopped making it after 2012, and am not going to know what to try next when the day comes for me to get my next vehicle. Ford's excuse was that the "new" Escape with EcoBoost gets nearly as good mileage as the hybrid did, but they're talking highway, and almost all my driving is city. I hope that a future generation will bring back the hybrid, hopefully with an Energi (plug-in) version also.

At my age I have dealt with a lot of car dealerships. My buying experience here has to be one of the best. They weren't the cheapest I looked at but were the best value. Everything about this purchase was excellent, plus I love the car.

I bought this vehicle originally because it was highly recommended to be pulled behind a RV. Which the reviews were correct. It was very simple to set up for being towed which is a huge advantage compared to other vehicles. In the intern, I am very impressed with its gas mileage and reliability. It has 157,000 miles on it and drives and sounds new yet.

Great ride, quiet, fast, fuel efficient, comfortable, easy to drive with tight turn radius, great visibility, it's a smaller SUV that surpassed my expectations. I hate Ford's and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality.

I bought a 2008 escape hybrid from a government auction-it was used as a fire department vehicle in Denver Colorado. The hybrid version is the best in snow and bad weather due to its extra battery weight of 300lbs over the rear tires. Overall I haven’t had any real issues except for having to replace the hybrid battery that you can get a rebuilt better than oem for a fraction of what ford would charge to replace. This vehicle is awesome and will go just about anywhere and is good on gas for an suv.

For an AWD it gets great gas mileage, it's light design means you can go places heavier vehicles will struggle. It has excellent sight lines that makes sighting traffic easy and safe. Only bad thing is it is a Ford and Ford has awful dealership service, that is also very expensive in my experience from owning this vehicle. Good for off-roading and for commuting both around town and on the highway!

I have had no problems with my 2008 and believe if you drive normally and perform regular maintenance that you will get many years and miles of use.

If you can find one. We bought this one used. It for a sale on a lot in 2020. We had it for 3 years this pass July 2023. We’ll keep it until it can no longer run. I’ve been all over in this car. Love it.

I have owned three Ford Escape Hybrids - a 2006, 2010 and now a 2011. I absolutely adore these vehicles - the gasoline/hybrid option provide for amazing MPG (especially w/city driving) and the vehicle is comparable with everything currently on the market. I am extremely sad that they no longer make the Escape in a hybrid version, and will ultimately likely have to switch over to Nissan hybrids after this one, but until then, I ADORE my Ford Escape Hybrid.

I am currently at 200,000 miles and it's driving like new. The maintenance on this Hybrid is minimal compared to similar SUV's. It is the best vehicle I have owned over my 30 years of driving.

Didn't buy a vehicle from Heller but they were very attentive to my inquiries about a vehicle.

Gas engine and battery integrated well. Car is a pleasure to drive. It handles well and has all the features you could want in a small SUV.

I bought mine used in 2014 with 65k miles and now it has 225k miles, original engine, transmission, and battery. No issues. Still going strong.

Vary nice people, vary good at helping In explaining about the car,and the price. I was not able to go to get the car do to Family issues.

Just hit 300,000 miles. Bought new 2005. This is first major work I've ever done it. New motor goes in soon. Good maintenance, brakes, tires tune ups and oil changes. Don't like new escape, not enough interior room for dog crate. Not sure how long I'll hang onto it after new, used motor goes in, at 90,000 probably not long.

Upon arriving I parked my vehicle and was immediately greeted by a serviceman. He asks what was the.purpose of visit I eexplained it was time for 5,000 miles maintenance check He then showed me the waiting room . I was offered snacks like coffee and other ITEMS. The staff was friendly. I has a weight time of almost ab hour and half because there were many cars waiting to be serviced. Wait time was not bad. Good service.

I owned one for 10 years and I did NOT have to do anything except normal Maintenace until the tenth year. The heater/air-conditioning had a problem, they took the whole thing out, had the vehicle for 3 days, and when I picked it up there were two bolts in the center consul, and I decided it was time to move on, so I traded it in with 10 or 20 thousand miles on it for a Ford Fusion Titanium Hybrid. All the time I owned the 2009 Escape I was pleased with it.

Walked right in and the sales consultant Jay Walker helped me right away; he wasn't judgemental, he was fair and friendly with a great attitude and upfront not like the 75% of salesmen who work off commission, he actually cared that I was wanting to buy a car that very day and that I had needs. He even serviced me and multiple other people at once and kept the same attitude through each customer and me, treated us all equal and fairly. No fees were charged either, besides tax which was cool the price was more realistic to what the website said, unlike car companies with huge markups nowadays. This car is great! Great milage in the city but not as fast/powerful in highways (could be faster, but it's great). If you don't drive for too long the hybrid battery might die - which it could be very expensive to replace.
