We are so impressed with our salesman Mike Roddy, he was very attentive to all of our needs. We were able to negotiate all of the things we wanted, He dropped the car off to us at home( he offered this service to us so we would not have to get out in the weather)Superb service! I needed to have my air conditioning repaired in my car. I took it to Arceneaux Ford and they did an excellent job. They arranged for a rental. Initially the job was supposed to take two days, but it took longer than expected. Arceneaux Ford paid for the extra days of rental. That was wonderful.
I called this dealer and Dakota immediately answered the phone. He then proceeded to spend the next 20 minutes with me answering questions and addressing concerns. Unfortunately due to issues on my end I was not able to purchase the car from them however, they were very upfront about the car and helped me every step of the way. Much respect for this dealer, or at least Dakota!
I have purchased several vehicles from this dealership both used and new. Out of all the vehicles I have purchased from them, I had an issue with one and it was immediately taken care of. Prices of vehicles are pretty decent...being civil and friendly without demanding a lower price can go a long way. I've never had a problem negotiating prices with them.
All, The process of buying a vehicle online vs purchasing a vehicle from a local dealer can be quite different. Online negotiation feedback from the salesman seem to have very little personal touch vs the attention and availability to negotiate in person. So far, my experience through cars.com had little positive impact in my ability to purchase the vehicle I need. Even with cash available to cut a deal going through the online dealers listed with cars.com the sale personnel are not willing to negotiate with price making the purchase difficult to complete. At this point, It will much easier to go to the local dealership and shop around within reasonable miles to purchase a vehicle.
Mike Boutin is very knowledgeable. He made some excellent service recommendations that wll help extend the life of my Superduty. Because of Mike I can highly recommend Hub City Ford Service Department.
I waited for my vehicle to get an oil change and arrived at service department and was surprised how busy it was for a Monday morning. To my surprise, HCF serviced my vehicle in an hour and 1/2. Very pleased. Thanks.
