About the dealership & scheduling: This is by far the biggest showroom for used cars I had been to. It also attracts huge crowds, esp on weekends. But the front desk and agents are quite efficient. 5 stars for that. Inventory & Pricing: For several cars I was interested in, DriversSelect seems to have the lowest prices. For the particular car I was looking for, they were the only that had in the inventory. Certainly, 5 starts for competitive pricing. Buying experience: Most of the pre-work is done online, email, text etc. On the day of purchase, after test driving, there isn't any pressure except occasional email pings. I had to spend ~ 3 hrs from start to finish. Not too bad based on my previous experiences. They, however, try to sell hard the extended warranty. Their mortgaging options are also quite limited - its somewhat competitive, but you are out of luck if you want to finance the car with a credit union. 4 stars for that. Agent Experience; Dan Dasch was my agent. Super friendly to work with. The one-stop agent for everything is welcome (though he had to bring in a "specialist" to sell me the extended warranty after I refused it initially). 5 stars for that. Overall: This is one of the pleasant experiences I had with car buying. If you are in the market for cars, worth checking them out. 5 stars overall.
Tut was the ONLY person on a rainy day that was willing to help me find out some information on a 2017 F250 on the lot. Not a single sales guy (or the other finance guys he was near stepped up). His personality is very energetic and personable. He got my sense of humor and played along. If I HAD to go through Ford for financing, I have a feeling he would have made my experience the BEST I'd ever had. He was sad that I brought my own NFCU check and I was sad I didn't get to close with him (David was cool but not Tut cool). Eddie - Made my negotiations pretty painless and was quick to ensure I had first dibs on the truck I was considering; Only other thing I wish I'd gotten would have have gotten my Military appreciation or Ford Loyalty $$ on this deal. Jimmie - SYNC guru that even I stumped (LOL) Ezra - You were the one guy that I felt I could talk to about issues in the past, and you're going to be my "Go-to Guy" from now on!! If you have the pleasure of working with ANY of these guys, they will treat you right - tell them Slink sent you.
Very good job on a great truck. The only negative would be the the $1500. part that failed before 60,000 Miles. Not All Star, (FORD) Parts should be made in USA!
i brought my car in (2015 mustang) to have the oil changed & also asked if they could check the right back passenger tire because the sensor was giving a false reading about the air pressure in the tire. the service department was very prompt in taking my car at the time I was scheduled & was very courteous, knowledgeable. I will always use the all star ford place in Denham Springs, LA. They also reminded me of a recall on my car & that I will need to bring it back in at the first part of next year.
I have my Ford F-150 serviced at Homer Skelton regularly for oil changes etc. Earl and JD have always been very helpful and quick to get me in and out timely. Anytime I have had any issue they quickly and personally resolve it. I never have been big on dealerships for servicing my auto but have had excellent service and their price is very competitive. If you have ford service needed give them a try.
I???m so thrilled with my new car! I walked into McDonough Nissan at 2:30 this afternoon. I walked out at 5:45 with a new car that I am thrilled with, at a price I am comfortable with. Thanks to George Mazzant, George Mazzant Sr., Paul, and Randy for making car-buying such a quick, painless, and fairly enjoyable experience. And a special thanks to George Sr for such wonderful stories while we waited for paperwork to be ready. We???ll be back after the New Year to replace the other car😊
When my trick wouldn't start they quickly found the issue and had a corrective action. The then found a coolant leak and a weak vacuum pump. They got the leak under warranty and worked with me on the vacuum pump. The truck is running great and stopping much better. I did not feel as if they were just looking for work that really did not need to be completed just to get more money.
This was my third experience with repairs on two different vehicles .The staff at Richard Kay are polite, knowledgeable, and had the work done in a timely matter. They kept me up dated on the progress and made my experience pleasant. Mike in the body shop was very personable and professional. He is an asset to your business.
Had and issue with my stereo. Made an appointment and took it in to have it looked at. My service rep was Justin Reed. He was very great right from the start. I purchased a Ford Fiesta hatchback from Peoria Ford and my last visit was not so pleasant, so I was a bit nervous about how it would go. Needless to say I was very pleasantly surprised. Justin took good care of me and made sure I knew what was going on the entire time. The waiting facilities were also good. The only criticism I have about that is they should sync their big screens so there isn't multiple audio signals. Too much to try and listen to. Luckily I brought my iPad and they have free wifi. Very pleasant experience all around mostly thanks to Justin. Thanx guys.
Excellent service from Dennis Thompson when I brought in our Accord for a 120K check-up. He was very organized, explained everything clearly, and followed-up to ensure all the work was completed in a timely fashion. Thank you Dennis!
I called to schedule a service appointment for my Honda Civic and I am pleased to say that I am so grateful it was answered by Steven Peters. I told him exactly what I was in need of and he had it configured and quoted within minutes. The day & time I needed to come in was available & I had the comfort of knowing I was able to get a ride to work and back to the Service Station after work. When I arrived, I was pleasantly greeted by Steven and his expertise made me feel at ease. I was called later that day to say that my car was taken care of and that everything went well. When I went to pick up my car, Steven went through every detail of the service and answered all of my questions. He took time to go through everything & made sure I had all discounts that could be applied. Being a single mother, my car is a necessity and I wanted it well taken care of....which happened at Tom Kadlec and the assistance of Steven Peters. Thank you!
I worked with Tom at the Service Desk to check in my car for repair, oil change and tire rotation. He was kind, knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. My experience with him was excellent.
I worked with Juan B (?) to see about trading in my car for a newer model. He and the accounting team went well beyond expected to get me financed for a new car. He was courteous and very helpful.
Although I decided against trading in my car (I just love my current car!) I will most certainly be back to Phil Smith Chevrolet for repairs, service and a new car when I'm ready to do so...probably within the next year or two.
Very pleased with my experience.
