Used 2023 Ford F-150 trucks for sale near Ardmore, TN

Needed an all-season 50K miles per year commuter car. Visited Amari Hamm at Landers McLarty, she identified an allocated unit, gave me the price and two other vehicle options with a 6-8 week delivery window. 15 minutes of discussion, 15 minute test drive…5 weeks later, 60 minutes to process the paperwork. Good communication and stayed on top of my order. Easiest car purchase ever. No pressure, fair pricing, great salesperson.

First off, when someone says the truck drives and rides horrible, did they not know we are entitled to test drive the truck first before purchasing. I love my 2023 Ford F150 XLT crew/camper package 6.5' box so far. Put about 5000 miles on it. Purchased used with low mileage. It has all the bells and whistles except for leather seats. Rides great, quiet, and more technology than I'll probably ever use. Endless supply of power with the 3.5 engine and all around mileage about 18-20 and 22-23 on the highway. I liked my 2012 Lariat but mileage was 14.5 all around. I test drove a Dodge and Chevy, but I like the feel of the Ford truck with Dodge a very close second. Chevy feels like the frame is weak and flexes over bumps.

My only dilemma in purchasing a new F-150 is having to give up my old F-150. I am driving a 2011 5.0 Platinum with 203,000 miles. It has been an awesome truck. All the luxury, comfort, and style I desire coupled with the practicality of a utility vehicle. I am disappointed that Ford has discontinued the Coyote V8 in the ‘24 Platinum and King Ranch trim levels. Hopefully the Ecoboost and Powerboost will be as reliable as the Coyote. Alternatively, I can find a ‘23 with a V-8.

I just want to give the biggest shout out to Quenton Duncan. I have had a hard year and a few weeks ago, I totaled my car in Nashville. I was so stressed on finding a new car and trusting someone that really cared and could really help me and my family. I went to Quenton because I have talked to him before about a car but never got one. He was such and amazing person to work with. He was so patient with me and understanding. I now own the 2023 Ford F150 Platinum hybrid. I have many trim levels, for I have owned Ford trucks for some 25 years. All trucks today, because of the complexity of the technologies experience difficulties. It is still one of the best.
