I bought my XL extended cab long bed in 2004 @54,000 miles. 2024 only 104,000 miles so far. Runs great smog test was great. Having a long bed really helps when working around the house. Only issues are the pull cables for the extra side door. Going to replace that including brake and hood cables. Other then that the Best truck iv'e ever owned 🇺🇸👍

Up on colds must keep. Suspension up dated. Besides. The. Dreaded. Gas switch issues. Other then. That put a. Decent. Exhaust system. Got a. Nice. Growl. Run. 65 tires. Good.Hndle. for street. Very dependable, Very useful, and Very Fun to own. This truck is at 206,000 miles and everything still works as the day I bought it. I could not express how much I love it. It has the 3.5 ecoboost twin turbo engine and the fx4 luxury package it eats dodges and craps on chevy. Please note that if you currently have the 3.5 Eco boost or 2.7 Eco boost to change oil every 3 to 4k due to the high temp your oil gets because you have turbos the 5.0 v8 doesn't have turbos btw

I bought my 2012 F150 FX4 Ecoboost brand new in February 2012. I currently have 64k miles on it. I have never had a mechanical issue with it. Regular preventative maintenance has kept it very reliable. It has a comfortable and quiet ride for a truck. I have towed 3 different campers with it ranging from 5k-8k pounds. The Ecoboost easily handles the towing with plenty of HP and torque. Just don't expect great gas mileage while towing, 7-9mph. Without towing on the highway, I can average 19mph. For a half ton truck, I tow my 35ft camper with no concerns. It's a comfortable commuter truck too. I love my truck!

I had a very unusual problem with my 2012 Ford Escape. The engine went 'limp' and could barely make it up the smallest hill, however, the check engine light never came on creating a mystery what was wrong. The vehicle was seven years old and had 125,000 miles but was exceptionally well maintained. Woodhouse spent hours trying to figure out what was wrong even calling Ford for ideas. The mechanic working on it called it a 'head scratcher'. Finally they said I needed a new engine (but couldn't say exactly why) and quoted a price of $7k... needless to say I was not happy! Mike Durham, Service Mgr., went to bat for me calling Ford to lower the price since I had been a lifelong Ford owner and always took the vehicle to Woodhouse for servicing. We finally agreed on a new engine a new transmission for $2k less than the original estimate. My vehicle was out of commission for two full months as all this played out with Woodhouse giving us a free loaner car the whole time. I've had the Escape now for a week and it runs great with no problems. The new engine comes with a three year unlimited miles warranty. Having driven over fifty years I've never had to replace an engine, or even tear one down so this was all new to me. Big thanks to both Woodhouse and Ford working with me on a most difficult problem.

My 5L, 2018 F150 keeps having problems with coils. Since there is one per cylinder and the cost of replacing one is quite high. This has become a problem. I love my truck, but this gives me cause to consider GMC next time.
