Overall, if you're looking for a step above any Mustang, this is it. But you have to understand what you're buying. The 5.2 Voodoo engine is an engineering masterpiece, no other Ford engine sounds close to it. It is a review happy engine, but you need to put your head in that of a racing driver, not a regular commuter. Oil level, temperature and pressure are all items that need to be checked prior to ringing out this motor for all its goodness. The suspension is harsh compared to a typical Mustang, but it's liveable. These cars were only offered in a 6 speed manual, so that "automatically" removes it from many people's lists. All in all, it's a driver's car, it's special and if you understand that and get the chance to drive one, you won't be sorry.

I stopped in to look at the new hybrid CRV‘s just browsing went to the front desk. They called over a sales representative. His name was Bubba he helped me look at a couple of cars. Test drove them. I would recommend any car enthusiast get behind the wheel of a Shelby GT350R! There is a very notable difference between the standard GT350 and the R model when it comes to power to the tires and drive feel. It is every bit of a race car as Ford claims and more.

I traded my Corvette for the GT 350 and I have no regrets. My Corvette I purchased new in 06 and I only had 34000 miles on it. Never had a problem. Only change the oil, battery and tires.

Overall, Vandergriff Chevrolet service dept. did an excellent job on my repair. With an extended warranty, the repairs cost nothing. But if I do critique anything, is the trying to get me to spend $1,200 in new battery cables. There was nothing wrong with them.
