One of the well-constructed cars I owned. I owned seven Honda/ Acura cars never one disappointment. The six speeds can run up to 7k RPM. This is a small rocket when needed in R-Mode. Comfort mode is great when it comes to mpg gas.

It's been 5 month since I got my Type R, and it was the right choice for me . It might be for everyone so I recommend taking a test drive if the dealer let's you and get your finance done ans shop around for MSRP. I had no problem driving 1400 miles round trip and wasn't beat driving the car. This is a keeper for sure.

It's my 3rd Type R and last.IS such a great platform that I had to own each upgrade. Is a well-balanced car. It spacious enough to be a daily, fun enough to take it to the track, reliable enough to put miles on without worry.

This car has it all, sport, fun, power, reliability and overall value. Far from a standard Civic, which I was first very skeptical about. Incredible gas mileage and more power than you’ll ever need.

1st of all you are giving a car that is beating lamborgin/porsche caymans/bmws best and more 3 stars?? "haha" Take it to a track and you will see why Honda is going to make elite cars think about pricing! I own a 2022 porsche 911 turbo s, and i have owned many bmw audi and ferrari. I have raced rally for years and this type R even at 60k smokes the competition. Mind blown how it holds the corners and zips right back up with the top porsche cayman gt3 gt4. Just a joy to drive!

These guys were great to work with. Shout out to Andrew, Eddie and Harold for their hard work. We bought an 04 Honda Element from them a few weeks ago and I have no complaints. These guys work hard to make it as easy as possible to buy a car. They were easy to work with and no high pressure to buy. Car is surprisingly compliant, I’ve had a few big Audis and vws with low profile tires and this car is really comfortable in comfort mode, took it immediately to a private event at Palmer a few weeks back and the car in stock form did fabulously, definitely lives up to the hype.... and then some. Only downside so far is the lack of options for tires since this car has odd-sized tires, non oem wheels are out of the question, the car has zero torque steer, aftermarket wheels would make all the magic go away. Also, 30mpg is a big plus. I traded my 2011 Range Rover sport for this and honestly the Honda rides better. Leaving the car stock will be the main goal, the car to my eyes is absolutely perfect and livable for daily duties. One thing I’ve noticed lately is that the car has not stopped from appreciating. Future classic is an understatement.

It was a pleasure working with Leo even though we couldn't come up with a deal his professionalism was top notch, and he didn't try to force any add-ons to the price of the vehicle and gave me the exact out the door price. I guess right now it's just a waiting game to see how much longer the vehicle sits on the lot before I can get the price I'm looking for.

I have been a loyal Culver City Honda client buying and servicing my cars there and had a great experience all along until yesterday 10/13 when I had the rudest Sales Manager Paul F. I scheduled an appointment as I was purchasing out my lease and asked ahead of time how long would appointment take they said 1hr of course knowing it was the dealer I planned for 1hr 45min but nope it took longer and I asked the Sales Manager if I should come back because I had to leave and he was rude with how he responded. He at one point was sarcastic saying you should know it’s the dealership it takes time and I responded indeed but I asked when making the appointment so perhaps also being more clear with the client would be helpful. Also felt that he was being somewhat racist as a Latina working with various people daily I can sense that look or uncomfortableness. Along with him being pushy in trying to sell all the extra stuff and highlighting how I didn’t know what I was missing out. I’m not a first time car owner I know what I’m interested in and when to the dealer having done my research. The only reason I stayed was because I was already started in the process.

This car has met all my needs, it's just the right size, seats are comfortable and its loaded with technology. The Honda Civic Type R was by far the best value for my money.
