I'm 78 years old and this car is a ball to drive! I love the 6 speed std transmission and the clutch action. My wife's GTI 6 peed manual(2016) clutch is very fussy and is to stall out if you're to weak on throttle! The handling is a blast! Love taking off ramps then merging onto the hwy and accelerating! If you like driving then this is the car for you! I love this car!

It's been 5 month since I got my Type R, and it was the right choice for me . It might be for everyone so I recommend taking a test drive if the dealer let's you and get your finance done ans shop around for MSRP. I had no problem driving 1400 miles round trip and wasn't beat driving the car. This is a keeper for sure.

It’s what was best of the 17-21 then add more refinement. The +r mode can pogo sometimes but not a big deal since can program all the +r features with the comfort or sport suspension under individual. Sound system is fantastic, interior ergonomics are fantastic, spacious, 320 miles per tank which is good for a performance hatchback, track performance in stock form is fantastic, can hang with cars it’s not got business hanging with.

I recently bought a 2024 Honda Civic and came in for my first oil change. Chris Rice, the service advisor was very helpful and professional. I had many questions, and he was able to answer each and everyone of them. I had a great experience and highly recommend Prescott Honda. One of the well-constructed cars I owned. I owned seven Honda/ Acura cars never one disappointment. The six speeds can run up to 7k RPM. This is a small rocket when needed in R-Mode. Comfort mode is great when it comes to mpg gas.

Car is surprisingly compliant, I’ve had a few big Audis and vws with low profile tires and this car is really comfortable in comfort mode, took it immediately to a private event at Palmer a few weeks back and the car in stock form did fabulously, definitely lives up to the hype.... and then some. Only downside so far is the lack of options for tires since this car has odd-sized tires, non oem wheels are out of the question, the car has zero torque steer, aftermarket wheels would make all the magic go away. Also, 30mpg is a big plus. I traded my 2011 Range Rover sport for this and honestly the Honda rides better. Leaving the car stock will be the main goal, the car to my eyes is absolutely perfect and livable for daily duties. One thing I’ve noticed lately is that the car has not stopped from appreciating. Future classic is an understatement.

It's my 3rd Type R and last.IS such a great platform that I had to own each upgrade. Is a well-balanced car. It spacious enough to be a daily, fun enough to take it to the track, reliable enough to put miles on without worry.

I came to dealership on a very busy day, but they found time to answer all my questions and go through all purchase options with me. Responsive and respectfull, ended up buying my new car here.

Being 66 I’m probably not the usual age of people getting a car like this. Back in May I was basically sitting at home waiting to catch that covid crap and die. Then I thought why not buy something so I could have some fun while I’m waiting to catch it and die and I’m still here. My eyes sorta locked onto the type R and life is a blast driving this car. I’ve dived into turns at 65 mph tap the brakes and turn the steering wheel then hit the gas and pull right thru it and maintaining full control at the same time. If you do manage to break the rear end loose it’s easily corrected by counter steering. All those curves on I 59/20 going thru Birmingham really don’t exist with this car and it’s a breeze and fun. The seats were comfortable my whole trip to northern Alabama. I was averaging 27 mpg and only did one fill up. I arrived at my destination and I wasn’t burnt out like usual driving another car. I’ve had it up to 135 and it’s fun as xxxx but don’t do it on the interstate. There’s too many people who don’t pay attention and have their phone buried in their head there. If you have good hand foot eye coordination then this is the car for you. If you want to have fun driving a car instead of being bored to death then you will love this car. If you like going the speed limit then then no this isn’t the car for you. The only thing I have with this car is that I can’t hop out of the seat like I was 20 years old but for the time that I’m driving it I’m like back to the future pardon the pun. The steering and suspension is very tight and if you put it into R mode and get on it then hang on and have fun.

Best all around Bang for your buck "IF!!!!" you can find it for Sticker price I had to go to 17 dealerships to finally have one sell me one at sticker price. It is amazing car. TIRES: Current Stock tires tend to scramble for traction more times than I would like but sticker ties should fix that. RIMS: These 20" rims... this is a surprisingly comfortable ride, but allow Jesus on your side if you hit a pot hole, to bless your rims for another ride. TRANSMISSION: Seems to have an issue with downshifting which seems to be a known issue by most TYPE R owners. The shifter will not go into 4th, 3rd or 1st easily occasionally has been my issue. This is very annoying when it happens especially since its a brand new car but no where near a deal break at this point in ownership. COMFORT:Seats are next level comfortable, OMG car is almost worth just the seats on long trips short trips, sometimes I just want to hope in the car just to relax. PERFORMANCE: Is not...whats the word.... Fun. What I mean by that is, i've driven EVO 8, Silva, Intera, Miata, Prelude, RX-7, Skyline, RX-8, and WRX STI, and the Honda Civic is a better performing car than all of these vehicles, however all of these other vehicle FEEL more fun to drive because of the way the Type R delivers its performance. Its calm, collected, third gear will launch you from 30-->80mph in like 3-4 seconds and you have no idea you are retardedly beyond the speed limit until you hit the breaks and then the speed becomes apparent. Around turns it just grips and takes you through the turn. No drama, no excitement, no fun, just surgically, expertly, confidently a driving professional. This may be an awful description but I really hope it helps someone out! CLEANING: If you are doing it by hand there are so many nooks and crannies on the exterior it is quite the endeavor. Also the alcantara/suede/ whatever it is seats grab particles and hair like nobodies business. Overall the worst part about this vehicle is having to deal with the Honda dealerships.

I purchased my 2023 Type R in July, with the intention of only driving it on Sunday's (weather permitting). Well..... that didn't last a week !!! I can't get enough time to drive it !!! I treat her with kit gloves.

This car has met all my needs, it's just the right size, seats are comfortable and its loaded with technology. The Honda Civic Type R was by far the best value for my money.

The 2021 Civic Type R is the most fun car I have ever owned. Not the fastest I own, but in +R mode it is the most fun you can have with your clothes on! Tightest steering, insane response over 5000 RPM and the “glued to the pavement” feeling make even driving to work entertaining. Best bang for the buck!

I?ll start out by saying that Andreas is the best! We purchased a new Accord Sport 4 years ago and he treated us very well then! Four years later he gave me a call and wanted to know if I was interested in a new vehicle. I had been considering it and so we began talking back and forth over the next week. After three Accords, we decided it was time to move into an SUV (due to our age and old bones). We decided on a White Pearl HR-V EX-L. Since we do a lot of driving to visit our family (300 miles away), we are so excited that this wonderful vehicle has all the safety features that will make our driving safer and more comfortable. I miss the power of the Accord Sport and the better gas mileage, but this new vehicle offers so much in other features to make us feel it is well worth it. I recently purchased a 2020 Honda Civic Type R. It’s hard to put into words the joy this car delivers with every drive. This car handles like a cat, and it is chock full of power. This car is an absolute beast above 3000 rpm, yet no torque steer issues. The short throw shifter with rev matching makes gear transitioning smooth. The Sound system with sub-woofer delivers awesome sound. I have the carbon fiber package also, beautiful carbon fiber with red accent, hood scoop, rear spoiler, mirror covers & interior accents. Really makes this car pop. In Champion White.
