I initially started out with a quote from the Costco Auto Buyer's Program which would have knocked $3,000 off the MSRP of a new 2016 CRV. I fully intended to buy by car at that other dealership that starts with a "Z," but I figured that I should look around at another lot to know my options. So, I started out at Wilde, and Josh Campbell came out to talk with me and give an overview of the CRV. We took it on a quick test drive, and then I tried to bargain him down. I pulled out the quote from the Z. dealership, and he--with his manager's approval--beat it by $400. Josh was very professional and pleasant throughout my negotiations, but I decided to walk off the lot without buying since I still had an appointment at another dealership the next morning. After going to the other Z. dealership, I came running back to meet with Josh. I called him and asked if Wilde would still honor the quote that they gave me the previous day, and he said yes. The person I was assigned to meet at the Z. dealership was very old-school and hard core; he used every trick in the book to make me feel like I was being unreasonable and that he couldn't sell me a car at that price. Then he mentioned raising the service fee to match Wilde's and taking away the heavy-duty mats that the car is supposed to come with just to match the Wilde price. Basically, I would have gotten a worse deal at Z. than I did at Wilde. More than that, I didn't like how the Z. salesperson treated me--he basically came out and said, "Hey, don't bother making that call to Wilde; just leave my cubicle and go there. I don't think that Wilde will honor a quote made in red pen on a piece of paper, but feel free to come back if I'm wrong." I didn't want to give that guy a commission. So, I bought my CRV at Wilde, and I'm really happy I did. The overall vibe there is a little younger, more relaxed, and the sales folk and others seem to have good rapport with each other. Josh Campbell was excellent at the negotiations, and he was willing to talk to his manager a couple of times when I asked him to go a little lower. It was hassle-free, and I knew I was getting a good price.I liked that Josh told me about the pluses of the CRV, showed me how to use the technology, and he also gave me warnings about a tire indicator light that could go on in the winter. I also liked working with Chris West, the finance guy. Finance folk can sometimes be the real dragons, but he actually didn't come off as pushy when he tried to sell me all the extra insurance plans. One of the smartest things he asked was which specific features I'd be interested in insuring (instead of getting an entire package). Hey, I'm buying a Honda again because the only thing that I had to do with my 14 y/r old Honda before was change the batteries, tires, and oil. I know that it's reliable! Still, I was worried about all the fancy new technological features breaking, and there was a moment when I considered buying extra coverage. Even when I said no, though, Chris was still nice. That said, remember that buying any car new or used is always more expensive than you expect: I think that the service fee was $219, then there's transferring plates ($79), taxes that really add up ($1,300 for me), etc. I highly recommend Wilde, but be realistic. Before planning to buy a car, I expect that it'll cost ~$2,000 more than the agreed-upon price. P.S. 1 After buying the car, Josh was super fast about doing the little detailing, car wash, and installing plates. He also told me that there are free car washes for the life of the car at Wilde! How about that? If you go to Wilde, ask for Josh . . . he did right by me. P.S. 2 I've only had my new car 3 days. If my original impression of Wilde changes, I'll come back and update my review.
I traded in my 2004 Honda CR-V for a 2018 CR-V at Community Honda in Orland Park. Two things I???d like to say about my experience with Community Honda???s people. First and foremost, The two salesmen, Tom Beveridge and Jim Jonas exceeded my expectations. They were honest and through and best of all they were patient with me. (I???m older then a senior citizen). It was clear to me that they wanted to match me with the ???right for me??? Honda rather than closing the deal. They succeeded hands down. I am thrilled with my new CR-V. Second, I am so impressed and quite frankly blown away with Sue Jimenez, Honda???s Sales Manager and Bob Madia, Honda???s Service Director. They went above and beyond the call of duty. They were honest, sincere and exceptionally responsive to me. I am forever grateful to all the people working at Community who contributed to making my new car purchase a five star experience.

Having only had our Honda Passport Elite for less than a week we are very pleased with it. It is roomy and has all the options of more expensive cars we tried our. The push button transmission will take a little to get used to but it is great so far. The ride height is higher and allows for great visibility. Gas mileage is better than expected with enough power to move when you need to. We got the car that fits our needs at this point in our lives.

Great experience at Carmax at Mid Rivers in St. Louis. We were looking for a low mileage 2014 Toyota RAV4 and we found the SUV we wanted on the lot. In total it was the fastest we have been in and out of a dealership after buying the SUV.

This car was amazing. I had a 2016 pilot previously But this car is outstanding in every way.The best car I have ever had. The car is perfect in every way.
I absolutely love this dealership. I have been the 3rd person in my family to buy a car from Richard Panske at this dealership. My mother bought a 2016 Accord, sister bought a 2016 CR-V, and I recently upgraded to a 2018 Civic. Richard took the time to go over differences between the different models and made sure I had the exact car I wanted, right down to the choice of color. The service department is great to deal with as well! I had a 2009 Accord before my Civic, and they always took great care of servicing it and never tried to up sell me like most every repair shop does. I even had a coupon for $20 off $150 dollars of service on my old car which I forgot to bring in, and the still honored it the next day when I came back and refunded $20 to my credit card. My entire family has always had such great customer service with Gustman Honda in Appleton dealing with sales and service. They are always looking out for the customer's needs and do a great job servicing us. They have definitely made me a customer for life and I can't say enough great things about them. I am constantly telling my friends who drive domestic cars and trucks to go see Richard Panske at Gustman Honda and jump on the import train because they are amazing!

Typical Honda. Looks like a Nissan from up front. Definitely a Forester from the side. For the price there is nothing original in this new car. No android auto or apple play. At $44k for the Elite, there are better options.
Bought a 2016 Nissan Murano from Raymond. Very nice guy and easy to deal with. He didn’t come off as the stereotypical salesman which goes a long way with me. I’ve had many bad experiences in the past purchasing a car where the salesman is pushy, rude & disrespectful. This wasn’t the case today. A great experience from start to finish. The next time I’m in the market for a vehicle I’ll be stopping by again and I’ll be sure to recommend any friends to do the same.

We liked the look of it right away. Less road noise and the ride is smooth. We like all the leg room in the front and back. I like the heat in the back too.
Recently bought a CPO vehicle. Great sales people, helpful and courteous. No pressure and answered my questions. The finance person gave a very hard sell on extended warranty and add ons. Only doing his job of course, but I wasn't thrilled about having to sit through it. Overall the experience was positive and would buy from them again.

Great car, but won't fit in a 7.5' townhouse garage. Drives very well, but seats should be more luxurious for this price. The 20" wheels are a very good design feature in the snow.
Hi Mike, we are loving our F150. It's the next best thing to being brand new...without the brand new truck price. Thanks for making everything easy for my wife and I. You and your partner were very helpful and answered all of our questions. We will definitely be back when it comes time for her to get a different vehicle. The only thing I regret is that I hadn't gone to RELIABLE sooner. I would have saved a lot of time and miles traveling around northeast Wisconsin looking for the right truck. Thanks again for everything.

Had a 2017 Ridgeline, traded it for a 2018 Chevy Equinox. Big mistake. When the new Passport arrived at my dealer I took a test drive and bought it that day. The ride is firm as expected but still smooth. Very impressed with how quiet the interior is. Great cargo space behind the rear seat. I really like all the Honda sensing features, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, etc. The Garmin based navigation system works well and is very intuitive and easy to use. I also like he fact the Idle Stop feature can be turned off with a button on the console. No complaints with this vehicle!
A/C quit working on way to Hendersonville/Asheville for a week in mountains.
Doropped car for service and fortuantely had 2nd vehicle available for us. No appointment so would have to be worked in with other cars. Mark in Service Dept. handled in very professional manner, explaining possible non coverages in private warranty we had on car. Next morning Mark called me and advised our private warranty was not used because the particular part that broke was covered by and extended warranty from Honda. Very happy with how Apple Tree handled the entire process.

Best of both worlds - style and convenience.

I owned two first generation Pilots and loved them. I didn't care for the appearances of the 2nd and 3rd generation models, so I went back to driving a sedan - and immediately missed the convenience of an SUV. I saw the Passport online before it was even advertised. I test drove one, and bought it. The Passport is comfortable, roomy, and is loaded with user friendly technology. The ride is stiff compared to a Pilot, but still very comfortable. I like the styling very much - it looks like an SUV. I love this vehicle and would buy it again in a minute.
The pre owned salesman, Rick, was very professional and knowledgeable. He cut through the hassle and quickly gave me a bottom dollar figure that was reasonable and fair. The car was not right for me, but it was no hassle to walk away and he remained professional and courteous. I would definitely buy from them if they had the right car and I would recommend them to others
I went to Jim Coleman for my routine car service for my 2013 Honda Fit. I loved being able to book the appointment online. I was checked in right away, and my service agent quickly explained the recommended services (including needing new tires, not a surprise at 50k miles - I have "run-flat" tires and shopping around isn't really an option).
They completed the work promptly and even washed the salt off my car!

This vehicle is in the group of vehicles that provide comfort, class, and puts you into a class above. The Passport gives the impression of the larger SUVs without that added size. The Passport is perfect for my needs.
I wanted a luxurious ride, however, I wanted the exterior to have a more rugged look. The Passport is perfect. This is a fun smooth rise with all the safety features.
Our experience with Groove Toyota has been incredible. From our first contact with Daniel, then with Mark Lindel, to Hamid Shirazi the experience could not have been better. As most of our dealings in the end were with Hamid Shirazi, we will focus our comments on his service. He delived our new car to us in Wyoming. We had only spoken on the phone and he was as considerate, professional and organized as we had expected. He was very knowledgeable about this car and very efficient. We will say the same about Mark Lindel and Daniel with whom we first spoke. This is our 2nd purchase site unseen from Groove and will we continue to do business with this dealer as long as they continue to have the excellent, efficient, organized staff who know how to work as a team. Thank you Groove!

BEST car buying experience EVER!!!!

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.
I am beyond thankful I came across DCH Gardena Honda. I knew exactly what I was looking for in a car, specifically a Honda Accord, when I began searching in early June. Long story short--I went to multiple dealerships, did my research through multiple avenues, test drove, and got incredible quotes. Unfortunately I was not given proper attention at any of the other dealerships I went to and was even told to pretend I'm color blind to settle for a car I didn't want. I knew exactly what I wanted and found that this car might not exist. I then reached outside my local area to give DCH Gardena Honda a call & salesman Kent Argue ended up answering my call. Their website said they had the exact car I was looking for & I asked him if they truly had it on their lot, & I let him know I have done my due-diligence in research, calling dealerships, visiting them, & getting quotes. I let him know what the best offer I received was & he told me he'd do what he could. I got a call back within two minutes & I was prepared for him to say they didn't have the car anymore (which I had been told from other dealerships as well). Instead Kent called me back with an even better price for the EXACT car I wanted & I told him I'd be there in an hour. Gardena isn't especially close to me so he wanted to make sure it would absolutely be there for me when I got there, & it was. When we got there all of the salesman at DCH Gardena Honda were SO nice and none of them made me feel like I was about to get swindled. All of the other dealerships we went to would leave us feeling disgusted. Not the case here at all. All of the salesmen & women we came across were so nice & very hospitable. Kent is THE BEST! He was literally the first salesman to talk to ME. He also talked to my husband, but he acknowledged that this car was for me & I was going to be the one making the decisions on this car. Respect goes such a long way. Kent not only has respect but he is also so kind & patient, makes sure your experience is as stress free as possible, & that we leave with exactly what we came there for. Which we absolutely did. I left the dealership that day with my beautiful car, a personal demonstration of everything inside my car by Kent with a walk through of every feature on the car's wheel & dash. He provided us with his cell & told us to contact him about anything & everything I needed even after leaving the dealership. Unfortunately a few days later we saw some "rail dust" on the paint of my white car (we've never owned a white car & after doing some research realized that this is common on all cars, but especially visible on white cars). However since this was a new car to me, we reached out to Kent & asked him what they can do about this. I ended up driving my car back to Gardena where Kent looked at the car, saw the "rail dust," got the manager's approval to get the car to detail where they attempted to get the rail dust removed. I was there for a little while, enjoyed the leather seats, TV, & was checked on & updated by Kent on the constant. I checked the car out 2 or 3 times & wasn't content with the results just yet, so they said the only way they & I would be happy with the results is if they do a clay bar treatment. Because this would take around 4 hours Kent personally drove me to Enterprise to get me a rental car for a day & come back. I came back the next day to find Kent personally buffing out my car. He told me he had been buffing out the last details personally for the last hour. It looked GREAT! Ultimately Kent is amazing & I couldn't be happier with our purchase from DCH Gardena Honda. I recommend you ask for Kent!

The vehicle meets all of my needs from the roomy interior, to the high tech options to the smooth ride. It is a valued asset.
I’m so glad Honda decided to bring back the Passport. The design, thoughtful additions and the style makes this SUV a huge hit for my family. My husband loves the easy pick up and go acceleration and safety. I enjoy the roominess of the interior and the stylish look. Being an Apple family CarPlay is a nice add-on.
Just a simple 6,000 mile service visit at 42K miles on my Outback. Best to make an appointment particularly if you plan to wait for the work to be done. Included exterior car wash at no charge. Service Advisor delivered car at front door of dealership/waiting-area in less than an hour and went through results of multi-point check (Customer waiting area is beautiful and spacious with snacks and drinks). This is a 3 story facility with shop and write-up on first floor and Customer waiting area on third floor (street level) so could be a little inconvenient for people unable to climb stairs. The recent remodel included everything except the shop (a little surprising to me).

After reading reviews, I decided to test drive the new Passport. My overall impression after driving it was very good. Great visibility, more of a rugged look to the front end with the changes. Plenty of room front and back. Handling was good as well. I enjoyed the sport option for shifting, its quick and responsive. Also, the when excellerating, the engine sounds great, just loud enough to let you know it’s got plenty of power. The extra lift Honda gave it also adds to the overall appearance and driving experience. I will be looking forward to fishing trips in the Sierras off road later this year! Only complaint would be the push button shifter?
I have not even purchased a car here yet, but am pretty certain that I will. I have been very impressed with John's integrity and overall honesty. Refreshing.
