Excellent Service ALL THE TIME!

I purchased my Honda Odyssey van in 2005 from Tony Honda in Waipio Gentry and absolutely love it! However, it's been 13 years since I purchased it and I felt that it was time for a new vehicle. There was no doubt in my mind that my new vehicle would be a Honda because of the excellent service I received ALL THE TIME! I had previously written a letter to the owner Stan Masamitsu about the excellent service I received before but I'm not sure if he received it. I just wanted to let him know how pleased I was with his employees. Anyway, going back to my review........From the moment I take my vehicle in for service, I am always greeted with smiles and the workers are very courteous. They open the door of my vehicle and also open the door leading into the office (service area). During the first several years that I had my van, I used to make appintments through Service Writer (Marlon); however, when Marlon left Tony Honda, I started using John Vanhtha who was a new employee at that time. John is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Since I don't know much about vehicles, he takes the time to explain in detail and answers the many questions that I ask. There were a couple of times when John wasn't available, so other service writers such as Sean Kikuchi and Andrew Jameson helped me and treated me the same way. Even the ladies at the cashier department are friendly and helpful. Every single employee in the service department makes me feel like I'm part of their family. They are awesome!!!!!! Anyway, in February 2018, I finally leased a new Honda Pilot. The salesperson who assisted me was Jacob Amadeo. Jacob, too, was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the different Honda vehicles. After a couple of hours with him, we felt like we've known him for years. He made us feel very comfortable and didn't pressure us into buying or leasing. I don't like those "pushy" sales people. Upon leasing the vehicle, we purchased some accessories through Accessories Specialist, Ron Oya. He was very nice and funny. He made us laugh so much! Then, we were directed to see Curtis Matsumoto who is the Finance Manager. Curtis was friendly, too, and very knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail and was patient with all the questions that we asked. We were even greeted by Sales Manager, Moi Mabalot, who had also helped us in 2005 when we purchased our Odyssey. Moi was always friendly and courteous. He is an incredible Sales Manager. I also need to mention about the receptionist in the sales department as we first entered the sales room. I'm sorry that I didn't get her name but she was the one that was working in the late afternoon on February 27 when we picked up our vehicle. She was very friendly and all smiles. When my husband was looking for a new car in 2010, I told him to buy a Honda because of the service and how the employees treat their customers. He didn't listen to me and purchased a Toyota Camry. Well, in 2011, he experienced the accelerated pedal issue that Toyota was having. I'm not joking. He was in a parking lot and his car accelerated on its own....seriously!!!!! When that happened, I told him, "See......I told you to buy a Honda!!!!!" Anyway, I don't want to get into details about that, but long story short...they changed something in the computer of the vehicle and it hasn't happened again so far....thank goodness. Anyway, thank you, Tony Honda for providing excellent service. Your employees are totally amazing and have always made me feel like family! They all should be recognized and rewarded!
