Let me add to the engine problems. Overall I really like this vehicle. We have taken many trips and enjoy the feel on the road. Maintenance has not been a major issue until recently. It started using oil on a regular basis. About a quart every two to three weeks. At around 92k miles it is now in the shop waiting to see if Hyundai will honor their warranty. It needs a new engine. It runs ok now, for a sewing machine. Hopefully Hyundai will honor their warranty and I can get another 90k miles out of the vehicle.

I bought it used in February 2024.In the time that I have owned it I have had no issues whatsoever and it has had all the required maintenance. It currently has between 77000 and 78000 miles. I am the 3rd owner and as long as the proper maintenance is done it is a very reliable vehicle.

Bought a brand new 2022 Hyundai Tucson SEL Convenience in Sept 2021, owned it for 4 years now. With 45,000 miles, Ive had no major problems other than normal wear and tear, like brake pads, oil and tires. Very reliable, comfortable and affordable. If I were going to nitpick, I would prefer non leather steering wheel and gear shift. I keep them covered so they dont get worn out. Love this SUV!

I was going to update my Ford escape to Lexus. Salesman Derek Massio, was helping me get a good deal. He was answering my questions and I going few times for testing out and checking the car. They offered me to purchase extra warranty and protection, but it’s optional. Overall have a good experience with the dealer. Before I go there I have a text message and email. After trying out dozens of different makes & models (looking for a used, comfortable 1 or 2 yr old car) we found our Tucson on a show-room floor with everything we wanted (except CD player) & paid less than what we were looking at with an older model of anything else! (would have given the car a 5 Star rating for interior, but center counsel is awkward to get into while driving & not quite enough small storage spaces.. other than that.. it's our 1yr anniversary with the car & we're Still learning all the buttons! We bought the car in Janesville, Wisc. The dealerships here in Rockford were pushy & wouldn't answer any questions unless we committed to buying with them. (Stay away!!)

So far so good..recently bought a,2022 limited awd..I like the drive and tho the tech took awhile to figure it out it worlks..granted economy could be better and cup holders a bit larger but overall a good value after driven it 5k.

Comes with All wheel drive, dual climate control, dual power seats with power lumbar , dual heated seats, heated steering wheel, Sirius radio, power rear lift gate, driving lane monitor, lane change warning system, sport driving mode, infinity 8 speaker sound system, slightly larger engine than the entry level Tucson, brilliant tri-color paint, roof cross bars and sharp looking chrome door handles. Comfortable, not too big, not too small. Acceleration is a little sluggish and gas mileage about 23.Found this slightly used gem with 25,000 miles for a great price

Have been very happy with car in both performance and reliability. Only negative is the rear wiper. It does not clear the rear window enough.

Just purchased as a daily driver for work. Had it two months with 104,000 miles. Looks and drives great. Base model but I’m pleased with its features. I agree not a lot of power but purchase it as a work vehicle to garage my nicer vehicle.

As a single mother of 3 little ones, I need something dependable and big enough to haul around all of their toys and sports equipment. In the past I have been burned by used car dealers. After my husband left me, I can no longer afford to lease Acadia’s. Dave and Michael were great. They were very low pressure and offered for me to have a local mechanic of my choice take a look at the van. After the mechanic inspected the van, he noticed that there was a minor leak in the radiator. Dave and Michael went above and beyond for me. They ordered the part for the van and 3 days later it was repaired and ready for me to drive home. I've had this vehicle limited fwd edition over a year now and it's still awesome as the first day I bought it. Smoother ride and quieter ride than the Honda CRV or the Toyota RAV4. I love that it has GDI and multiport injection which the competition does not. I also love that it has a regular transmission and not a CVT. This vehicle comes with all the luxuries my old Cadillacs had plus a lot more features. This car has plenty of pick up and go. You just have to learn to push down on the accelerator not punch it. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the small SUV class. Cause believe me I test drove them all, and this was by far the quietest smoothest ride and most comfortable car that I test drove.

I recently traded in my 2010 ford fusion for this suv, so far ive enjoyed it. Ran into a very frustrating issue the day i bought the car. Not sure if anyone else has had the same issue. My model has manual lights so i have to turn them to ON when the car is started, once i turn them to OFF and remove the key from the ignition they parking lights stay on. I then waited 20 mins to see if they would shut off on there own and it wasnt the case. I then started flicking the knob to on and off and they still wouldnt shut off. I then restart the car and turn them to off again and shut the car off again. I wait for a click noise in the dash and try again and most times they shut off but tonight was not the case i sat there and fidgeted with everything possible and got to the point i wanted to disconnect the battery. Im not sure how this issue occurs or what causes this issue. Other than the electrical issues the car runs fine, don’t recommend letting it sit out in negative temperatures it doesnt enjoy starting in the cold. But runs very well drives well especially long distances. Gas mileage is good, fill it maybe once a week, drives really well in winter drove through 8 inches of snow without getting stuck. Very good car would recommend!

The Hyundai Tucson Limited is far beyond other vehicles in the same class. This car has features of luxury cars in an affordable vehicle, and it looks sharp too. If it had a turbo charged engine it would e out of this world. As it is, the car does lack power, but unless you drive it like a sports car this isn’t a problem. Front heated and ventilated seats, Rear heated seats, park assist, blind spot cameras. If you need it this car has it.

As a second car, or for someone's first car purchase, or a gas saver, or a beater, this car is perfect. We had 4 cylinder sedans and suvs that were our main family vehicles before. But grew out of them and into larger 3 row suvs that consume a lot of gas. This feels like it's in between both. It's not quite a mid sized suv, yet it does not feel like a compact suv. Compared to previous models, the interior feels more spacious and has higher quality design and materials. Our trim has off white leather and it looks beautiful inside. It's rather comfortable, quiet, and fun to drive for the most part, except that passengers in the back seat sometimes complain about the ride quality. Amenities are great. The tech, safety features, comforts, it's all well thought out. Sometimes I don't like some of the beeps or lane assist features, but other times I can appreciate it. Overall seems reliable, though the little 4 cylinder sometimes seems to vibrate a little too hard, and the gears are normally tuned to be a little sluggish to save gas. It can be switched to sport mode (it has a cool animation on the screen when you switch driving modes), but then the engine just revs too high and the exhaust tends to drone a bit. Normal and "smart" mode don't seem to have that issue. For going shopping or driving back and fourth to work, it's a great car. I like the looks, and the stance, though it's a little low compared to other SUVs. We took it on a 3 hour road trip once and although it wasn't the worst, it wasn't the best, most comfortable experience either. Hence why it's our second family vehicle and not our main.
