On April 30th I went to Ferman Chrysler Jeep of NPR. I was attempting to get out of a 2010 Town and Country Touring Sedan I had purchased from them 2 years ago. I have an automobile experience behind me, from selling New Oldsmobile's to selling New Cadillac's, 2 years at each dealership, prior to one year as a New Car Sales Manager at Dimmitt Jeep/Eagle in Tarpon Springs in 1989. Ferman had laid me away on a 2010 used vehicle at 24% interest rate with Chrysler. My payments were $308.00 a month, automatically paid through my account for two years. I went to purchase a Jeep Cherokee that had a $5,500 rebate, to overcome my upside down trade. They told me I would need to go with a Dodge, I said okay, and drove the car! I had told them $500 down! They told me, if I would give them another $2,500 down, Chrysler would welcome my business at only 16.5% interest! I stood up, and said you are out of your mind, see ya, I am going across the street to Nissan. in walking out my sales person said will you tell me if you buy a vehicle, and I said in a heart beat! I went across the street to Maus Nissan! Upon arrival I was greeted by a very nice man Sabas Fiqveroa. I explained to him I am here to do business different than the way he has been trained! I told him I needed to start with the new car Sales Manager. He brought me in, and introduced me to an awesome sales manager by the name of Troy. We conversed, seams we both came from Michigan. I told him of my Automobile back ground, and what I had just been through across the street, and what I was attempting to accomplish. We got along very well! He explained that Sabas was new, and he was going to have Alain Garcia help Sabas show me a SUV that was what I was looking for. Needless to this point all three employees were beyond belief in knowledge, as well as courtesy! I must say when I was explained the numerous features of the Rogue, not to mention the pleasure of the drive, as well as the power of a 4 cylinder with awesome fuel economy, I was sold! We went inside to see what we could do. We had some negotiation, but in all I was happy with the $500 down, $618.00 per month, for 72 months. When I met with the F & I guy, he would not be sure of interest until the next day, but he was looking at 9.5% interest. I said that would be fine. He then told me to open a savings and loan account, and in 6 to 8 months, I could probably get a much lower interest rate. In parting, he said he would let me know how it comes down with Nissan. The next day I got a call from Alain, asking if I could stop by and sign a paper with F& I, and I said yes, the next day I would be there about 11:00AM, and he said wonderful. The next day on my there I was anticipating the worst, but instead I was blown away with awe! I met with a lady, and she told me she had good news! I said wow! She went on to tell me the vehicle was reduced an additional $2,000, and Nissan was giving me the 2.9% interest rate, so I said what is my payment now? She said, it stays at $618.00, but in lieu of 72 months, that will be for 60 months! Wow, I have never seen anything like this happen in my 5 years in the industry. I felt that the New Car Sales Manager Troy had something to do with the transaction! Regardless, I am so impressed with Maus! I had had a Nissan Xtera that I dearly loved, and I had to part it with it when I was leaving a few years prior. I brought it to Maus, and it had 110 thousand miles on it, and they gave me the balance owed on the SUV, that blew me away! I never forgot that! I was just a fool for not buying from Nissan two years ago! Thank you so very much! By the way my Rogue really put the Dodge I drove to shame. In closing I might mention to future buyers, the Finance Lady told me in the future, no matter how bad my credit is, as long as I make my Nissan payments on time every month, Nissan would never increase my interest rate1

performance, technology & legroom!

It is the perfect combo ... a wolf in sheep’s clothing mid size sedan (417 hp with AWD), loaded with technology (including Intelligent Cruise Control) and a plush interior with all the creature comforts. And as a tall guy I love the extra leg room for me and for who sits behind me.

Sun Toyota Review
Love my certified used car...and Sun Toyota too!

I came to Sun Toyota a week ago, on a referral. My mother gets her Scion serviced here and hasn't had a bad experience yet. I knew my 15-year-old Saturn was nearly on its last legs, so I had been looking for a while. Before my Sun visit, I started with a Hyundai dealer in my area, and had a "predator vs prey" experience. Sun Toyota is vastly different...and I bought a car based on that. My Saturn had 138k miles, so I knew I wouldn't get much for a trade, but I wanted/needed something newer and more reliable. I made an appointment and spent some time with Donald Smith. And I bought a car. Did he sell it to me? Yes. But I had fun the whole time. I went in with a wish list, but I also knew I might have to compromise a little bit. At the Hyundai dealer, the salesman brought me to the 2017s on the lot right away, even though I told him I wasn't looking for a brand-spanking-new model. In fact, he came *right* out of the showroom the minute I stepped on the lot. Not a good feeling - he seemed like a vulture. When I visited Sun, I made an appointment beforehand. (Maybe I should've done that with Hyundai too, and learn!) In contrast to the Hyundai salesman, Don didn't make me feel vulnerable at all. When I explained my budget and wish list, he took me to the models in my price range. He explained that he wanted me to actually see them, to know what was available. What they had on the lot, would've been a lot like my Saturn - over 100k miles, and needing a lot of TLC. Saturn is a wonderful brand, & my prior car never did me wrong. But it wasn't very cost effective to keep, and I knew I needed something with more pep in it. Luckily, I could be flexible with my pricing, and my "short list" of models. (I'm used to driving Toyotas, since my other half has one too, but I wasn't opposed to trying other cars.) I think that helped too. I went in wanting to buy outright, and avoid payments. That didn't *exactly* happen. I came out with a small payment, but I can afford it. Most important, I have peace of mind. I appreciate that Don was willing to listen, and show me what was available. Also... *Sun Toyota never bashed other dealers - something my local Hyundai was quick to do. *Toyota now has longer warranties, on new and used cars. (20 yr/200k miles vs 10y/100k). Hyundai tried to tell me those were no longer offered. *They offer certified pre-owned models that go through a 160-pt inspection. I liked knowing their cars have already been vetted. Local Hyundai didn't offer certified anything. *Don took the time to listen to ME first, before I started test driving cars. He didn't just show me what HE wanted to move. *Don made it a fun experience! I was relaxed and enjoyed myself...and I have a new(er) car to show for it. I literally hugged him before driving off the lot. I have never done that before. *Sun didn't pester me after I left the dealership. Don has called to check on me and my car. (Local Hyundai salesman called me 3x in two days after I visited, because I didn't make an immediate decision.) At the end of the day, salesmen have to make sales, but customers have to be happy, too. Both of those things happened at Sun Toyota, so that's a win-win. And the most ironic part of the whole visit? I now have a Hyundai. (LOL!) If you visit Sun Toyota and you're in the market for a great experience, ask for Don. He won't disappoint you.

So far, so good

It may be too early in my history with this car to comment, but so far, I love it. It handles beautifully and looks great too. The room in the back seat is limo-like. Have not had it serviced yet,
