Born and raised in the great Chicagoland area but haven???t lived there since 1985. Motor Werks has always been a leader in the luxury car market there for as long as I remember. When I found the vehicle online I was searching for at Motor Werks in Barrington I was put in contact with Sales Specialist Mark Smith. Was I concerned about purchasing a vehicle site unseen? Not at all! Working through the process with Mark Smith was seamless and transparent. From Mark to Rashard in Finance I was treated with honesty, respect and like family. I flew in to O???Hara Airport and took the Metra train to Barrington station where I was met with a Motor Works representative. The vehicle was just as stated, immaculately prepped with a full tank. Took it for a test ride and was very happy. Paperwork was a breeze, took delivery and was on the road and home to Minneapolis for dinner that evening. Mark Smith followed up with a phone call the following day to insure my trip went well. He again contacted me a month later to make sure I was satisfied and if there was anything else he could he???ll with. I highly recommend Motor Werks in Barrington, IL. We had a leased Honda Civic that was due to expire 12/18. We went into Motorwerks in Barrington to see what our options were, We worked with Bill Goggin and he walked us through what we could do. He patiently listened to what we wanted, and spent the time getting financial figures together. We finally decided to purchase a 2018 Honda CR-V LX. I came into Infiniti of Clarendon Hills looking for something new, and a break from the Lexuses and Acura???s I had previously driven. I met Bill who showed me the new QX50. Made a trip from Ohio to purchase a used Murano that was listed in Cars.com. The vehicle had all the bells and whistles we were looking for at a fair price. Unfortunately, the vehicle did not have a panoramic sunroof but Zeigler listed it as including the sunroof. When we arrived and noticed the vehicle did not have a sunroof we decided against the purchase - it was a show-stopper for us. Zeigler quickly owned their mistake, sincerely apologized and made a commitment to lower the price and/or offer any vehicle on their lot at a discounted offer. The incorrect listing was an obvious error but we were very impressed with Zeigler's response to make the customer happy. We ended up not purchasing a vehicle but we were VERY satisfied with this dealership. P.S. - I noticed the listing was corrected the same day.
I had a wonderful experience taking my car in for some long overdue service. I was made aware that it would take a couple of hours to complete, and I didn't want to spend all that time at the dealership. Not being an app savvy person that uses Lyft and/or Uber services, I had asked my son to take me to the nearby mall while the car was being worked on. Unfortunately, he wasn't available. He did mention to ask the dealership for a courtesy vehicle. After dropping off my car and before I even had the chance to ask about a courtesy vehicle, Jessie had asked if I would like to be taken to the mall. This made my day, much easier than filling out paperwork for a loaner. On top of taking me to the mall, they called to let me know when the work was done, and where they would pick me up. I'm so happy I purchased my car at Ziegler Ford.
First, Jorgen was a good sales rep. Online, the car appear to be exactly what we were looking for with a fantastic price. We showed up in the car had almost 2,000 more miles than what was listed on Cars.com.
We looked over the mileage and had it inspected at the Ford dealership. The car had some issues that indicated that it had been driven pretty rough for the mileage and it was CANANDIAN. Ford does not honor the same warranty for Canadian cars as it does for American cars. The specifications required for each country are different! Prices for Canadian cars are also cheaper and retailers can sell for a higher markup.
Though Anthony seem like a great person to go hang out with at the bar, he wanted to pretend like there was no difference between Canadian and American Ford warranties, would not make any price concessions for the increase in mileage then what was listed online and flatly stated that he was quite excited to be able to drive the car for a few more weeks until it sold.
Bottom line, do some heavy research and make sure that you are prepared to walk away if necessary.
