My jeep compass is very good. I, been really happy with mine. The performance, suspension handling plus the fuel mileage is all pro's. Comfortable seating heated, cargo area is spacious. Touch screen stereo with navigation apple car play etc. Really good resale value reputation. Good reliability, the ratings.

I,ve had several Jeeps and Subarus and Chevys and my Compass Latitude 4x4 is as good as any for around the city and my freeway trips. Better than the Subaru for the highway and offroad. I feel safe. posted this as i feel some people are harsh and wrong about Jeeps. Do the required oil and transmission services as requested.

Now in my 6th year with my 2017 and still like it. My complaints are simple. Needs larger fuel tank, better gas mileage considering its size and engine, would prefer manual transmission, and get rid of the xxxx engine shut off function. Love the size, comfortable, still seems solid. My only repair was replacement of the satnav unit that crapped out.

After speaking with the General Manager, Jeff Mazer, it wasn't the dealership so much as it was the finance manager (who is no longer employed there). While this practice was done, it was NOT the dealership that employed the tactic. The dealership took measures to rectify the situation by terminating the employee and sending a check for the whole amount of the protection plan ($3,250) to my lien holder. It took some work and yes, I am still a bit butt hurt, but I will continue to be a customer here.

I have had my 22 High Altitude for about 4 months now and the only issue(s) I find are the following: MPG is not as advertised, it's not that great. It's around 24 average, I am about 50/50 city/highway driving - It's fine. It DOES ride like a Jeep - so it's not as "luxurious" as your higher end cars, but YOU BOUGHT A JEEP - The last snow storm we had in Cleveland was about 10" in 2 hours - No problem, even with 235/45/19 tires - Would be way better with not so wide tires. It's slow. Who cares? Are you driving in the F1? Nah - It's plenty. Interior is baller. Infotainment is great, comfortable. Heated steering wheel is a plus. IDK - I read these reviews and everyone is so picky - It's a nice ride. If you find you like it, give it a shot.

Dennis was very knowledgeable and was a great help. I highly recommend shopping with him. There were a few hiccups outside of the sale, but everyone at Van Horn helped make sure things were resolved.

I own a 2018 Compass with 1.4 l gas engine, 125 kw, 170 HP. This is not mentionned in the article. And this engine is quite more powerful than the American atmospheric one. Still, the Jeep is not quick :) The gas pedal still 'creates more sound than speed' :) Giedrius, Europe

Safety Technology, Parking sensors, rear cross traffic alert etc. Reliable, very nice styling. Pretty good performance suv, fuel mileage. Comfortable seats heated, cargo area is spacious. Touchscreen stereo with navigation. These vehicles are really cool and I am happy to drive mine around.

My only complaint are the front seats do not have enough cushion and the seatbelt latch pushes into your hip on the drivers side. and standard lumbar support on all models added

I went to Jim O'Connor's to purchase a used car, they had so many options to look through and of course I found something that I loved. After I had purchased the car I had run into a couple problems with my car, and they were so helpful with repairing what needed to be repaired and gave me a loaner car to use while my car was in the shop as well. Now, a couple months after I had purchased the car, I ran into some other issues with my used car, went to them for help and referrals for car repair shops, and they offered yet again to help service my car problems. They have the absolute best service when it comes to purchasing car, before, during, and after the process. Anytime anyone asks me where to look at for buying a car, I will 100 percent of the time recommend Jim O'Connor!

Bought the New 2017 Limited Compass right out of the gate in 2017. Exterior styling is amazing (many compliments), love the grille, black roof is sharp. Interior is great with the exception of no place to put sunglasses/phone. Electronics have been a bit glitchy - remote start rarely works, screen freezes often. Wish the shifting was more aggressive. Put your foot on the gas and it seems bogged down in a gear that's too high, very unresponsive acceleration. I always override the auto-feature that turns the car off at idle - a few incidents that I felt were unsafe. It drives really well in snow but I once bent the underbody shield on city streets after a snowfall. It's a pretty, but delicate Jeep. I love this vehicle but I hope some improvements came with the next model years before I buy another :)

My wife and I bought a 23' Jeep Compass Limited with 15K miles. We were looking for something small but also a vehicle that could offer 4x4. My initial impression of it at the dealership was that it has an awesome exterior paint color (granite crystal) and black wheels to compliment it. The car drives great on the highway and city. It's a very comfortable ride and the car can turn on a dime! I am currently averaging 30 mpg while commuting to work each day. I have noticed the car will sometimes have difficulty up shifting. As long as I apply more gas it eventually gets over it. Not a big deal for me as my last vehicle would do the same thing. The rear view camera is nice on the Compass, however it is completely useless at night. Overall we are very happy with our purchase.

The difference between Skyline and larger dealerships is like night and day. After getting the run around with Madison Dealers I was lucky to find Skyline and Martin. I arrived and drove 2 cars, picked 1,a 2008 Acura TSX went into the shop and paperwork for taxes, registrations etc. was done at no cost. I gave Martin a check and drove home. Now 4 months later I have had zero issues with the Acura TSX and am extremely happy to have found Skyline. I recommend Skyline to anyone who wants a good, reasonably priced car, while dealing with an honest man.

I, like this small suv, easy going year around use. Reliable, very nice styling and good performance. Comfortable seats, touchscreen stereo with alpine speakers. The quality of this vehicle is really nice.

I was a bit nervous before coming in this morning due to my daughter's experience with a salesman at the Kunes next door to this one. But it quickly became a great visit. He was patient and did everything he could so I could drive the car off the lot today. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. He also promised to get me a manual for the Hyundai Tuscon I bought that is missing. I hope he keeps that promise. The salesman, Roel, who was the one next door that my daughter had was not so good. He was demanding and was not very truthful. I believe that he would sell anything or say anything just to make a sale. He demanded that I get in there to cosign for my daughter for a car that was way over her means. Cosigning for someone is a very huge thing and should never be demanded even by a salesman.

The employees at the dealership have done a great job taking care of us. We came from out-of-state, and the process there was very smooth and efficient.

I have had my 2022 Jeep Compass for 8 months now and no complaints. I can accelerate onto the fwy with no problems. I get the mileage they say. I do wish the storage was a tad bit larger and maybe more leg room in the back, but honestly I only travel with two dogs and rear air is good for them. Love the larger display screen and never a glare so I can’t see it as in some other cars I tried. My backup camera works fine at night. I have the 4X4, so I need to get more info on that. I know the 2023 has a turbo, but I don’t care about that.

2022 Jeep Compass Limited ♥️ when I bought my Jeep I loved it at first sight❗️just being very specific. Love the cooling/heating for seats upfront and also in the back. and the heating steering wheel. Love the outlets super great option for outdoors. Love having 4x4 I also love the options for different off road travels sand,mud,snow glad we don't get snow in Florida ♥️ my Compass is not sluggish at all. Trust me when I want it to get up and go it does. But I didn't buy my Jeep to tear it up either. Lots of room and storage. Plugs everywhere for everyone's phones. And mine I just put on the charger no need to plug it in. LOVE the back up camera. If you are having problems with that go to your dealership they will fix that for you right away. Full extended sunroof from front to back. I love finding all the little Easter eggs hidden on my Jeep. Love the remote options on my phone that can lock, unlock, start, horn, basically I can do everything on my phone. Love the SOS button incase of emergency. You can drive for 6hr and 37min before getting gas. Also other feature I love it will stop byself if iam coming up on something and iam not stopping. So many more features that I love ❤️ Money well spent. Eventually I will be getting a lift kit on it. And trailer hitch. I would most definitely recommend. Best vehicle I have ever owned. Honestly I have nothing bad to say. I LOVE MY 2022 JEEP COMPASS LIMITED. ❗️🤘

While I did not end up purchasing a vehicle here (I was in the market for a Subaru). I would absolutely recommend them. They let me know when one of the cars I was interested in sold since I was driving from out of town. They also were very up front with pricing options and financing options. I am a senior who finally had to trade my sportier Chrysler product for something more accessible. The only suitable car the dealer had available was the Compass. Mine is the High Altitude model with the 2.4L engine and the 6 speed auto. I expected a little better performance from it, but it is acceptable, Even with the 6 speed trans it is sluggish, but the auto-stick feature ameliorates this somewhat if you choose to manually shift it. It still isn't a race car but it will give acceptable take off without waiting all day to get to the next traffic light. The ride is comfortable, and handling is tame. As noted this is not a sports car but it is a good daily driver. Interior appointments are well thought out with lots of available storage space. My biggest disappointment is the instrument cluster. It looks like it came out of an early 70's car, except that the speedo and tach have terribly small numbering. I expect I will rely more on my GPS for speed indication. I was really disappointed with the lack of a trip computer, and tire pressure sensors. These have been mostly standard in Chrysler products for over a decade! Front passenger comfort is good with plenty of leg and headroom, with well cushioned , nicely trimmed (and heated!) seats with a powered driver's seat. The center console is two compartmented with a deep bucket, and a handy document compartment in the lid. The console space is necessary, with the glove box basically sized for a pair of gloves, and maybe a pair of glasses. There are also fairly spacious door pockets, and a dash tray. Another disappointment was the lack of a USB charging station, and only one 12 volt outlet. There is a 150 watt, 120 volt AC outlet, perhaps to plug in a USB charger? While rear storage is not on par with other vehicles in its class, it is certainly adequate for my needs, Especially if the rear seats are folded down, and I often carry quite a load of sporting and outdoor equipment, as well as a walker. The entertaiment center has good sound, with AM, FM, CD and Satellite, as well as an aux jack for external devices, and I love the Uconnect which feeds my phone through the sound sound system. I have not commented on the rear seats because I haven't used them, and likely will not, nor do I often have passengers, I will most likely keep the rear seats folded down. In spite of my disappointments, I have to rate this car with 4 Stars. It will more than adequately meet my needs, if not all of my expectations. The Compass was the least expensive SUV in its class in 2016, so who would expect it to have all of the features of its more expensive brethren, or even stable mates? At this point, I am satisfied with my purchase. No it is not best in its class, but it is a nice, comfortable, even attractive daily driver!

I, own this vehicle, bought new at the time. I, must say it's a very fun vehicle. Good gas mileage, affordable price range on these vehicles new. Comfortable seats, touch screen stereo with apps. Really smooth suspension, and transmission drive mode selector. Good reliable vehicle, holds up well on the future resale value.
