Burned up clutch, not burned up customer

My son is lucky enough to be driving a new Jeep Renegade with a manual transmission. He's pretty good with the manual, but got lost in a neighborhood with a lot of hills. That is where his "pretty good" wore off. Getting a call at 10:30 pm from your son saying that the jeep won't move is not the worst call, but I've had better! After troubleshooting and figuring that the clutch had burned up, we decided to have it towed to the nearest dealer. I then went to work researching the horror stories with burned clutches on the Renegade. Many dealers have refused to fix under warranty. You can google it. Cody at Larry Miller took great care of us and my son was back on the road in less than 2 days. And, he got to have dad next to him critiquing his clutch timing for another good while. ;-)

I was planning to trade in my 2015 Dodge Dart SE to buy a ram truck and I did. John and Darren helped me on that Saturday. When I took it home my parents and myself had a big talk about not to buy a truck now. I told them I was so tired of scraping the under carriage on the dart on job sites and find a way to put more tools in the back with out having to take tools out for people to come with me. So on Saturday February 10,2018 and Sunday February 11,2018 I looked on the website and looked at SUVs. One caught my eye was this 2016 Billet Silver Jeep Compass Sport 4x4 that was $15,500 which was better for me in my Budget Range. So on Monday Morning I had John help me try out the Jeep Compass that I looked at the night before and I had my dad with me to get approval from him if he liked it to which both of us were happy about it. I had to wait because they haven???t gotten it in for detail and service on it which is fine with me to take out the previous owner smoker smell out. It???s better to double check if there is any problems. Dustin and Randy thanks for working with me to sign finance papers got to love those forms ha ha ha. Thanks to John and Darren were very helpful to work with my situation with me to get a vehicle with enough ground clearance with out scraping the undercarriage and space for my tools.
This is the place for a stress free car purchase. Request a quote from Maddy and she'll hook you up with Drew Brown. Drew knows every thing about the whole Toyota line. These two are friendly, relaxed and very professional.
Brent Brown should be proud of these two. I look forward to having my new car serviced in the sevice department.
I dealt with Jacob Banks the whole time (except for finance) which was over a number of days. He was super! He sold me my second Hyundai and he was great then but this time (my 4th) I have never seen nor heard of a sales person going the extra mile(s) he went. We completed about 90% of our negotiations on line. I live 250 miles from this dealer and it was wonderful to be able to email and converse with Jacob multiple times and establish the final price, trade, and down payment before I ever saw the actual vehicle I purchased. Jacob worked hard for me, made videos of the vehicles I was interested in, gave me honest quotes and was so very friendly and personable. He spent a lot of time showing me the features of the Santa Fe and demonstrated them on a test drive. Maybe what impressed me more than anything was they entire dealership was extremely busy; Jacob had another customer he was working with and I watched the time he spent showing this lady her car... he was meticulous showing her the vehicle and was that way with me. I even had the pleasure of waiting a little while for him which was a great experience for me; I got to watch a professional. Actually, I have never had a bad experience buying from this dealership but Jacob is my go-to guy. Want a "go-to guy" that actually acts like he likes you and wants to help, you can "Bank on Banks.)
I just purchased a 2013 Ford Discuss this morning! I stopped by a few months ago to look at VWs. Had a great experience, but didn't end up buying a car that day. My boyfriend and I were very impressed with the Velocity staff and the low prices, so we kept the salesman's card to contact him when we were ready to buy a new(er) car. When my old car threw a rod in the engine, I called Velocity the next day! I was up all night online searching for cars, and Velocity has the best cars at the best prices, bar none! Scott, my salesman, was wonderful throughout My time there. We chatted about his previous positions in car sales and he told me how much he believes in the Velocity model of serving customers by offering quality cars at fair prices, no unnecessary markup. All of the salesmen are salary, so they do not get paid commission on the sale. That takes the pressure off, which allows the salesmen to be honest, genuine, and frees them up to make a connection with the customers. Finding the car I wanted was the easy part. But My trade was in bad shape. Cory in the finance department went to bat for me with the lender to offer as much as he could to lower my payments. He was straightforward, respectful, and kind. I highly recommend Velocity! I would definitely buy a car from them again!
Bought a Beautiful truck, had a great experience. My sales guy Michael is great, the finance guy gave me tips to boost my credit score.
Any used vehicle is going to have issues, so be sure to do your Due Diligence before you buy one, including inherent manufacture issues.
My experience is, this place is pretty awesome.
