Always wanted a Jeep so entered the pool by buying a Patriot. Nothing fancy—I.e., basic radio controls—but my goals were utility, maneuverability, reliability and economy, and so far, after 3.5 years, all remains good. Biggest complaint? Interior is all black, which shows up all the dirt and dust a lazy person seems to attract.
The service is always amazing at the Subaru location. There seems to be some personnel changes each time I visit with the exception of he is solid!

26 City / 30 Hwy....that's a lie !!

I beg to differ about the mpg rating. I drive 45 miles one-way to work and my 2007 Jeep Patriot drinks just slightly more than 1/4 tank of gas during this trip. So basically, the 45 mile trip to work and then back home uses roughly 1/2 tank of gas. Nowhere quite as near the 30 mpg Hwy mileage that is stated on the specifications of this vehicle.
Another drawback, is that the front driver and passenger seats are very uncomfortable when resting the seat back to lie down when parked and trying to rest. The headrest feels like your head is lying against a rock. Place a pillow behind your head when laying the seat down to rest.
The year and make of this Jeep Patriot and probably the 2006 and 2008 Patriots have a known issue when the fuel tank is filled to capacity. Chrysler Jeep knows about this but refuses to initiate a recall notice for this problem. Not only is it annoying to not be able to pump gas hands-free using the lever trigger locking mechanism on the pump hose without it constantly triggering off, but what happens is when the fuel tank is being filled up and even topped off, a "vapor-lock" condition occurs which starves the fuel injectors at any given time right after the vehicle leaves the fuel station. When vapor-lock occurs, the engine will hesitate and sputter, eventually causing the engine to stall - even while driving down the road in rush-hour traffic. This not only is dangerous, but very scary and embarrassing to have your vehicle die in the middle of a busy road.
Like I mentioned previously, Chrysler has not initiated a recall notice, most likely because after a few miles of driving, the gas-guzzling engine will have used up enough fuel to create a larger void of air within the confines of the fuel tank to eliminate the vapor-lock condition. The best fix action for this would be to not top off the fuel tank. Only fill the tank up to no more than 95% of the total capacity to allow some air space within the tank itself.
Headlights remain on during the day and night while the vehicle is running. It's amazing that the headlight bulbs last as long as vehicles which do not have the daytime headlight function.
Plenty of room for large items when the rear seats are folded down.
Having a background in used car sales, I know some of the ins and outs. Elite Auto is by far the simplest, straightforward, no hassle car buying experience. I purchased a 2010 Ford F-350 with a few requests and they delivered. Everyone from the sales team to finance to the owner were very cordial. This is a great outfit, and by the looks of their inventory they have a little something for everyone. Good job Elite Auto! Keep up the great customer service! Special thanks to Dallin and Andrew through the sales experience, and Dominique for the humor in finance dept.

Best vehicle I’ve ever owned. This vehicle has great value. Great gas mileage , very comfortable , definitely not too big for city driving . Has great features add a very good price .
I was impressed from the time I called to ask about the navigator . The vehicle was as described. I was really bummed that I could not buy it. Everything was exactly what I wanted but I just could not do the light interior color. The facility was small n clean (love the office dog). Parking was tight but they do well to accommodate customers.

Great vehicle. Handles very well in our snowy NH winters. Good gas mileage and power. A very good value! Required very little maintenance over the time I have owned it.
I have only talked with this dealership on the phone. I found them to be very professional and answered my questions. They followed up with the email with further questions and we’re very helpful.

Not the best vechial to have if driving more then 15,000 miles a year. Has cvt issues,at 60 thousand. Has excerallion issues. It is roomy, and I like the body style. But personally I wish I could get rid of the patriot.
Friendly, knowable employees that explained what work had been performed on the car. They suggested work to be consider on the next time I brought the car in for service.

Meets all of our needs. Spacious interior, comfortable seats and lots of rear seat leg room.
Nice space in the hatch for hauling.
a bit of a gas hog
Josh at the service desk was very helpful and understanding. Tony, a 25 year tire man has an answer for most all common tire and suspension knowledge, the two of them can give you a comprehensive pre diagnoses of your vehicle so you can get an idea of what to expect before the technician does his inspection. Everything a great service department is suppose to be. A lot of years of great professional knowledge behind that service desk at Lithia of Helena.

This car met all of my needs when I first purchased it. Although it still runs well I'm upgrading to a larger vehicle to fit my needs, but I wish I could keep it around!
I was so thrilled to find my dream car, a 2017 Nissan Murano at Dee Motor in Anaconda. I tried one out in Missoula but the price and aggressiveness of the sales dept. were a real deterrent. The price of this car at Dee' s was fantastic, Rob handed me the keys, said take it for a spin. From that point on, Rob and I were able to communicate via text, email & phone to get the deal done. Three days later I came back, signed the papers & picked up my car. So easy. He also offered me fantastic incentives, like matching cash down, good price on my trade in and first year's paid registration. He also got me hooked up with after market leather heated seats. My step son came in the next week to get his Chevy Silverado with similar incentives. Dee Motor will definitely treat you right! Thank you, Rob!

If you are looking for a good SUV to travel with, it is a comfortable, safe, efficient vehicle. Great on gas mileage and is good for a family (if you have one). Excellent vehicle to travel long places or commute.
I love my Jeep! It’s a good size, good on gas, gas the amenities I want. But! The transmission is terrible, constantly jerking and missing, when it rains water leaks from my dome light (common problem apparently), AND don’t expect to win any races because when this car is in between 25-35 miles per hour the transmission doesn’t know what to do! It’s like it spazzes out!
