Vehicle handles well easy to park and maneuver I don’t like the fuel tank capacity very small also I don’t like the fact it has no spare tire unless you purchase it for three hundred plus you offer a air compressor which is great for a slow leak but don’t get a blow out in the boondocks you’ll be screwed. I don’t think a space saver spare will break the bank.

Well balanced designed to take you on rough drives without confort sacrifice. Excellent driving position that makes a pleasure to drive. Giving you full control and a sense of security when driving on slippery roads. I drove It over the Rockies and the Sierras enjoin the beauty of those places.

ISSUE WITH SUNROOF CLOSING, NEW ONE PUT IN SAME PROBLEM. IN COLD WEATHER SEVERAL DOORS WOULD NOT LOCK AT ALL. AT FIRST I THOUGHT THEY WERE FROZEN THE DEALERSHIP IS STILL NOT SURE WHY THIS HAPPENED. I WAS UNABLE TO DRIVE IT WHEN THIS OCCURRED. JUST HAD THE IGNITION REPLACED - CAR WOULD NOT SHUT OFF. I REALLY LOVED THIS CAR THE SUNROOF IS HUGE, MY FIRST NEW CAR, IT IS A LITTLE SMALL IN THE BACK SEAT FOR PASSENGERS BUT NICE, I LOVE HAVING A HATCH AND NO TRUNK TO MOVE THINGS IF I WANT. I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED A JEEP AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE AND OPEN FEEL OF THIS CAR. IT DOES VERY WELL ON THE HIGHWAY. THE REAL ISSUE I AM HAVING IS WITH CASTLE JEEP/ RAM IN NAPERVILLE,ILLINOIS COVRING THESE ISSUES WITH MY 100,000 MI WARRANTY.

From the moment I arrived, Isaac made sure to let me talk, explain my issues. I explained to Isaac, that I purchased this 2002 Monte Carlo SS off the showroom floor in 2002. Over the years, I have put thousands of dollars into making it not only look great, but sound great as well. Nothing has ever needed replacing, I just upgraded to high performance parts. This 2002 Monte Carlo SS has 55000 original miles. This car is so important to me. My plan is to give this to my Grandson. And I want it perfect. Isaac sent my car back to the mechanics and stated he would call me and keep me informed about everything. He didn't let me down once. I'm a U S Army, Vietnam Veteran. I served in the Honor Guard for 1 year. Performing as the Funeral Escort and holding and folding our American Flag that would be presented to their surviving member. Isaac, and the mechanics who work here at Salt Lake Valley Chevrolet, deserve not just a pat on the back. But an award showing that they are appreciated. A great start would be the waiting room. I remember going in, there would be coffee, donuts, and fruit. Not a thing... If it wasn't for the first impressions of Isaac, the many phone calls keeping me updated. And the fantastic work of your mechanics. I would have went somewhere else, and left 1 star. And 1 sentence. Because of them. And the fact that they knew how important this car is to me. Read some of the negative reviews thinking we may have gotten lucky with ours. We still own our 2017 Trailhawk that my wife uses for commuting to work. Bought it used from Hertz with 24K miles late 2018. Of course we bought an extended warranty. Sure enough, the right front brake caliper froze. Had the whole front braking system replaced under warranty and never had another problem with the brakes. Only other problem we had was an occasional transmission hesitation that only seems to happen when I’m driving it. Happened about twice a year. My wife never experienced it because she drives like an “Old lady.” Oh, cigarette lighter fuse burnt out one time while using an air compressor. It was a royal PITA to replace because it’s hidden deep under the DS dashboard. You’ll have to remove the knee panel to get to it with very little space. We have the smaller screen infotainment system. Very basic but works ok. Backup camera is small and barely useful, but works. Engine noise can get loud from a four cylinder Tigershark. Other than those issues, this Trailhawk is a blast to drive. The Tigershark is a beast and enough to get this tiny AWD out of any spots where most of its direct competitors would get stuck. I didn’t like its AWD at first until I realized that the “Fresh” tires Hertz installed before we picked it up were cheap asian made all season touring tires that were slippery on any road surface. After replacing them with proper tires, this tiny SUV can go anywhere though i still wouldn't dare bring it to where the "Real" Jeeps can go. I've taken ours through gravel, sand, mud, some rocks, and snow. Hasn't failed me yet. Knock on wood. We've driven it from FL to NJ without any problems. It's tight inside as expected. The engine pulled our heavy load easily. We've also been blessed to own a Tigershark engine that doesn't burn excessive oil. Yes, they do exist. The ride can get jiggly from the short wheelbase. Handling is good with good tires, but treacherous with bad, cheap tires. One note on the realtime AWD system in normal mode. There is a slight lag transferring power to the rear wheels. Similar to most realtime AWD systems in the market at this price level. Our Honda Pilot with VTM4 torque vectoring AWD system doesn't have this issue as a comparison. Follow a good maintenance schedule with this little beauty and they can last a long time.

These guys are a family business and treat you like family. Here's my story: I live in the Roanoke, VA metro area and this past June went out west on what was supposed to be a long and enjoyable camping trip with my 14 year old son. Unfortunately, by the time we got to Mount Rushmore, I started to have problems with my transmission on my 2001 Honda Accord. And by the time we got to Jackson, Wyoming, the transmission started to fail in earnest. After checking it out, the local mechanic told me to get a new car. Because there wasn't much to choose from in Jackson hole, I decided to take a chance and headed down to the Salt Lake City metro area. I'm so glad my car made it down there. Since I've had it with transmission problems, I decided to get a stick shift for a change. While at a local library searching for cars on the internet, I saw that Peterson Auto had a manual transmission 2006 Subaru Outback in stock. As soon as I arrived, I was met by Mike Peterson who handed me the keys and told me, "we trust you" and encouraged me to take it for a spin by myself. I loved the car (been wanting an Outback for quite a while now), and was ready to buy it, but they had just gotten the car and I was told they needed to have their third party mechanic check it out. After an oil change and new bearings on one of the wheels, they where comfortable selling it and we closed the deal later that afternoon. Then to my surprise, before I could take off with it, they filled up the gas tank for me (which was almost empty). I was pleasantly surprised. Because of the free Carfax report they provided, I was able to figure out that all of the previous owners had "kicked the can down the road" and neglected to get the timing belt changed. It was overdue for a change by over 20,000 miles. So I made arrangements for their mechanic to change it and they gave me a free loaner car during the process. When I got the car back, Mike surprised me with a set of four brand new Sailun Atrezzo tires- for free. Now I ask you.... who does that? These guys really treat you like family. But after driving the car for a few hours, the radiator hose burst. I called Mike and he immediately arranged to have someone pick me up and the car towed. Again he gave me a free loaner car to drive until it was fixed the next morning. It turns out that while putting on the radiator hose after the timing belt change, the mechanic had over tightened it and cracked the radiator where the hose attaches. As Mike said, "it was a self-inflicted wound." But they took care of it and I wound up with a new radiator and hose for my troubles. No charge for any of that. I was just amazed... the car was sold as is, but they treated me like I was family. I'm back home now, but if I need a new car, I just might go on another camping trip and stop by Peterson Auto. I really like these guys. I've dealt with two different dealerships before, but these guys are the best. They made me a "happy camper!"

After 100,000 trouble free miles we bought a second Renegade this February. Good car, reasonable mileage, no complaints. Moved up to the Trailhawk trim package

The advisors are always courteous and diligent. I trust them with the technical details of my vehicle and they follow through every service item to completion. They provide excellent customer service with complete transparency throughout the process in order to achieve complete customer satisfaction. Their focus was on the customer's best interests and they were very helpful in the most difficult of circumstances. My car has to be taken for service a long way from my work, but they are always prompt in scheduling my appointment and getting me on the road. Great little vehicle for the money. Good amount of space inside, easy on gas and fun to drive. Can park anywhere! It could do with a little more power but it does fine as is. This is my third Renegade I have owned and I love it. I will buy another one for sure!!

I've bought several cars throughout my life and this dealership was the most laid back, non pushy, quick paced most efficient dealership I've ever dealt with. Shawn was amazing and patient. Never asked for anything extra (more of a down payment) like other salesmen have in the past. I’ve had my ‘15 latitude, for a year. T-bones a car, last week, and they crumple like a beer can… In other words: had my wife get a ‘16 75th edition TODAY!! Yes, ramen diet, for a few years, + her “special edition” doesn’t have heated seats, or a heated wheel 😖 My latitude does!! I wouldn’t look at different 💯

I Really like this car I bought it used and have driven it for a good couple of months Car works great love the jeep style on the outside and inside you'll never forget what your driving! Two complaint's are that the car rumbles quite bad and my cars transmission likes to have hiccups but everything else about the car is great.

My wife and I found Southtowne Mitsubishi to be friendly, fair and fun to deal with. CJ and Mike were wonderful and made us feel like family!

85000 miles on it and the only issue has been a starter problem, it’s going bad and I will replace soon. The moulding at the front of the removable roof panels started to separate. Other than that it has been an awesome vehicle and I feel like the 2.4 has plenty of power.

We live out of state but found the van we wanted on their lot. We called the dealership, put down $500 and did the finance application online. Flew in to Salt Lake was picked up at the airport signed papers and was on our way. Such a good experience we would buy another vehicle from them even thought its a 10hr drive home.

I have a 2021 Jeep renegade that I bought in November 2023 for $24,000 and change. It had 4400 miles on it. Of course, at first, I loved it. The auto four-wheel-drive, the big screen navigation /stereo system. the fact that the back seats lay down. If you take the headrests off, they lay flat. Then I drove it for awhile and here is the lists of ‘add ons’ it should have. 1)The door pockets up front are just to small. 2) The center arm rest console could be bigger. 3) The dash is too deep. Jeeps dash should be shorter, like a truck. 4) The seats should have seat warmers (even my old Nissan Juke had seat warmers) 5) The hatchback has no interior light so in the dark, you need a flashlight to look for things, remove groceries etc. 6) There is space for a spare tire but since this edition came with ‘flat free’ tires (idk the actual name for them) that space could have been made larger for storage. 7) When the back seats are up, the storage behind them is very small and limited. I realize this is a smaller SUV but I expected a larger space back there. 8) I have almost 14,000 Miles on it now as of 7/27/2024. I do feel the transmission either slip or shift sometimes. 9) It took me over a month to learn that if the car is cold, it will not start unless your seat belt is buckled. That’s a fact. 10) It handled the very very well in the devastating ice storm that payed a 1/2 inch layer all over the Pacific Northwest last winter. That auto 4 wheel drive truly works! 11) I had to buy seat belt extensions for the back seats as It was difficult to engage the seat belts into the locking belt.. It sits deep into the seat and I have grandchildren who like to lock thier own belts in. They can be found for sale at most Auto Stores for around $20 each. I recommend you get them. That’s about it. Overall, I love my Jeep Renegade. I think the price is very high considering the items missing but overall, I am going this will last me a good 10-20 yrs…

The three years I had this car, I didn’t run into any major issues. The Uconnect radio that Chrysler uses could be better but other than that it was a C great suv to me!

This is my second renagade, I wanted a 2021 limited and that’s what I have now. I have a long history with many models of jeeps, but I have to say this one is my all time favorite . I love everything about it. It’s a tank in the snow and mud . We have climbed to the top of a mountain with it. I feel safe and secure that I will never get stranded in the snow. It’s comfortable, and just the right size . I love the Easter eggs they hid in the car ! We were able to fit all our camping gear in it and bikes and kayaks too. I love the look of it and it’s fun ! I will never get rid of this car , it’s a keeper.

Very upset got hit from behind and seatbelts didn't lock. Sent my husband into the dash. Any other time the lock when we stop at our driveway they lock
