Used Jeep Wrangler for Sale in Monticello, IL

I was looking for a crew cab used truck, good selection of used trucks just didn't have what I needed will keep them in mind.

I balked for years at buying a Jeep Wrangler because of the litany of problems they had. Maybe if I was a single guy I could have put up with it, but not my wife. Enter the new Wrangler JL, the massive redesign that put nearly all those problems to rest. My wife test drove one and really liked it. Within a couple of days, we had ordered a brand new 2019 Wrangler Rubicon. This thing is a hoot to drive. We like hiking, camping, state and national parks, and this will be our Go-To machine for those trips, as well as a daily driver for me. So many truly well-thought-out design features in this new JL. Did I mention the Rubicon looks totally butch with those factory 33" BFG All-Terrain T/A tires?

This is the second vehicle I've purchased from Marland at Champaign Chrysler Dodge Jeep. It is an absolutely amazing experience, no high pressure sales, straight shooter, answers your questions, LISTENS, and gets you what you are looking for! I test drove a 2008 Jeep Wrangler and it was amazing!!! The car drove very smoothly and was very comfortable! I will probably be looking into buying it from Cars.com very soon!!

The jeep is great. Just had a baby so it’s no longer ideal for me. I’ll throw in 4 siped snow tires. Barely used I’ve never had an issue with it. Bought it new and it’s paid off.

Even though we had to drive 6 hours to get there, it was totally worth it! Such a nice guy and understanding person! Great customer service and so kind! Even got flowers! This was my first out-of-state car and I must say that he did way more than expected. I’m grateful that he was our dealer and explained every document for me.

It meant all my needs. Plenty of leg room up front. Smooth driving all round I think. Never had a problem. Overall a fun and enjoyable ride.

Was nursing a 2003 Ford Windstar with 215,000, that I thought could make it till January 2017, but the A/C failed on a 3 week trip out west. Kansas isn't very fun at 90F with the windows open. The very next day I got back to Champaign, I went to Rick Ridings in Monticello, IL to look at used/program cars. After driving around, I started looking on foot and Mr. "Hoppy" Hopkins stepped out to greet me. Hoppy was cheerful, a good listener with excellent knowledge of all the vehicles I viewed. I wasn't expecting to purchase anything that day, but Hoppy guided me to the car I needed, at the right price, right mileage and condition. We settled up 3 days later. Was a great experience with everyone, and I mean everyone, saying hello to me at the dealership offices. I would highly recommend purchasing a vehicle at Rick Ridings, new or used. Ask for Hoppy.

We need a vehicle we can flat tow behind out motorhome as well as drive to and from work The Jeep sport is perfect for us.

Trustworthy, is the best way to describe Shields Auto Center! I have owned Jeeps for a long time. This one is so far above them Jeep hit this one out of the park. A lot of thought went into the design and it shows in every way. I can’t imagine how you could improve upon it, but I know they will!

I am looking for a 2017 Buick Lacrosse and I was shown one on their lot which was close to the one that I would purchase with options that I want.

Never ever an issue with the Jeep. Always reliable and never an issue. Simple maintenance is all you need. Gets me to and from, Wherever and Whenever.

I went to the above dealer to have them look at my 3-year-old Dodge Van as the engine light had gone on! I had been thinking of trading her in and so asked to speak with a sales person. I spoke to a gentleman called Scott (sorry Scott, cannot remember second name) and he was GREAT! Let me slow down here. I use a manual wheelchair and was about to purchase my 5th van from this dealer. I explained that I couldn't have fancy, didn't want to spend a lot of time haggling and I needed a good deal for my trade-in. Reason: I want to have this potentially new vehicle altered to be a handicap assisted van in about 6 months and that was going to cost me another $27,000.00. That being said the offer was made for the trade-in (there was some negotiation there from the Business Manager), but within 10 minutes I had a fair trade-in $$$-wise, picked out the new van, and within about 2 hours of rolling (pardon the pun there from a lady in a wheelchair) in I was a proud and satisfied owner of a 2017 Chrysler Van. I think the bottom line was, Scott and his associates saw and respected that I knew what I wanted and what I needed and set to---to make it happen. Scott could not of made this purchase any easier ... I would definitely recommend my other female and especially wheelchair-bound lady friends to drop by and work with Scott and the rest of your staff. By the way, the receptionist, she needs a thank you too! I had a very important business meeting to attend and she assisted me in getting my cancellation for this meeting dealt with. WHEN YOU WORK AS A TEAM THINGS GO BETTER!!!

This is my 2nd Jeep. My first was a 2003 Jeep Wrangler sport x. My current one is a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. I love everything about the Sahara!! Once a Jeeper, always a jeeper :)

After doing most of my research for a new vehicle online I narrowed my purchase down to three cars/SUV. The Chevy Trax, Ford Escape and Jeep Renegade were my three choices for the options I wanted and the price I wanted to spend. The Champaign Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram was my first stop. It was a late Saturday evening (close to closing) but I couldn't tell because I wasn't being rushed to finish just because it was close to closing time. I parked in front of the Jeep Renegade line. They had some very nice selections on the lot (but I wanted a Blue one) and I was anxious to get behind the wheel. My sales rep was Greg Frey (WHO I HIGHLY RECOMMEND) answered a few questions I had and was more the helpful when asked for a test drive. I spend 45 minutes cruising around and looking, discussing with my wife. The removable panels were a nice touch (we had both of them out on our first drive, returned to the lot to replace the roof panels so I could take it out on the interstate. Except for the downfall of a 4 cylinder in passing situations the Renegade performed wonderfully. I still had a few cars to test drive. Long story short, I decided on the Jeep. And like all things in todays world I found a few good deals on the internet. 90 miles away, a 100 miles away, 150 miles away. So I called Greg. In the short time we met on the lot for the first time He remembered who I was, What I test drove, and what I was trading in. We spoke about the deals I found and said if I had time to drop by and we would do the dirty work together and find the right deal. We talked numbers, options, deals and came to my final purchase decision. Greg is without a doubt the very best salesperson I've had to work with. He is professional, courteous and knowledgeable about the products on the lot. It took a couple of days for my bank to process the necessary paperwork and for the dealership to retrieve the car but it was hassle free for me. When I went to pick up the car Greg asked if I wanted to look at it to make sure it had all the options I wanted. I asked for a test drive and there was no hesitation, of course! On my departure, Greg sat with me and went over some of the electronic features that were in the vehicle. Again, very impressed with his knowledge of his products. I will buy from them again. Comfortable ride and plenty of power and also great control when driving. The quality is good and engine has plenty of power for the weight and is a fine vechile.

Searched nationally for the perfect Fiat Spider 124 at a value price. Came across Douglas Dodge in Clinton, Illinois while sitting in the comfort of my Minnesota home (with snow still on the ground in April but thinking convertible anyway!). The car I was looking for is not easy to find. There were about 20 possibilities at dealerships throughout the country. I contacted Douglas Dodge and was fortunate to have been assigned a veteran sales pro there named Dave Lareau. He made my nervousness of maybe buying a car sight unseen in another state ease quickly. Dave was great and went so far as to pick me up at my hotel about 25 miles away so I could get to the dealership. Car was ready, pristine, gassed up and ready for me to drive it back to Minnesota. Dave got his atlas out and showed me how to get to the "river route". I spent the day putting my new little convertible sports car through the twisting turns along the Mississippi and just beat sundown as I pulled into my garage in Minnesota. Thanks so much to Dave and his team for making my car buying experience a memorable and enjoyable one. I also own Jeeps...and who knows...I might make the trip down again when its time to change those out since Douglas Dodge has quite an inventory of Wranglers, and since I am sure Dave will still be there.

This vehicle was not only awesome, it was a way of life and every bit as fun as a motorcycle, ATV, or jetski. Spent every summer I had with it with the top down and more times than not with the doors off. <3 0|||||||0.
