Took the family to Vegas for a week. Enterprise have me the choice between the Malibu, Charger and K5. My youngest didn't want the grey Malibu and I didn't want to pay for the gas on the Charger with the V8. So we went with the black K5. I drive a SUV so it took some time to use to bending down to get into he car. Once we started driving I noticed how smooth and quiet the car was. The car accelerated with ease and the braking made you feel safe. My Dodge Journey is 2015 and doesn't have all the new tech. The K5's blindspot and car In front of you leaving warnings are great features. Although the K5 had great features the only negative I had was the infotainment unit. The unit worked just fine, I just didn't like how it was integrated. It looks as it was installed as an afterthought. Looks like it was just inserted like a Lego piece, I would prefer it flush in the dash.

Todd was our salesman. Our car buying experience was handled very professionally and with great care. Todd did not rush us through the process. He was very prompt while we tested the vehicles. His manager closed the deal and showed the same level of care. We will definitely return with our family on future car purchases.

I’m in love with this car. I love the features with my EX trim. Heated/cooled seats. Sunroof and wood grain interior. The only issue I have is I’ve never owned a car with CVT. It feels a bit odd at times compared to my previous cars. But anything is better than dealing with Ford’s DCT.

I thought I should have gotten a better price on the car but who doesn’t? Kahled was my salesman and I couldn’t have had a better person. He is a very caring person and does his best to make everything in the deal go right, for the business and the customer.

I bought it brand new in October of 2020. Ironically I had planned to trade my 2017 Optima for a new Toyota Camry, but the dealer didn't have any, and sales were out 4 months! This was COVID and Toyota was clearly further behind than Kia. So, I ended up with a new K5 and couldn't be happier. The car accelerates like a dream which is what I needed living just off an Interstate I'm on almost daily. I love the large video screen and Apple Car Play. My only concern is it sits low to the ground like a sports car, but I'm getting older and it makes it a little difficult to get in and out of. Also, when parking you have to be aware of curbs and parking stops as the front end is also low and won't clear some obstacles. But, I love the car overall and plan to keep it for a few more years. I may never own a Camry now.

Staff is pleasant and easy to work with and the dealership is first class ! I’ve had 3 Kia’s in the past and Kia of East Hartford is by far the best I’ve dealt with ! The facility is state of the art and the process was quick and easy ! Don’t bother going anywhere else for your Kia . Traded in my 2012 KIA Optima EXGDI for KIA K5 GT- Line. Was unhappy Optima was discontinued but very impressed with its replacement. Love my KIA. Reliable, excellent safety features and as always looks sharp.

The service and sales department provides excellent support. The management team has done an outstanding job training their employees in customer service, creating a positive environment for both customers and team members

Forward collision is dangerous it slams on the brakes and have you spinning. Roof is too low. Speakers are not good. Exterior falls apart very cheaply made car. Great on gas great body design. Love the synthetic leather & the infotainment screen.

I bought a new Sonata yesterday. Andy sold it to me and he was just wonderful! He was so helpful in giving me options and helping me to decide which car was best for me. I was nervous about all the technology the car had and he answered all my questions. I was also reassured by him telling me that I could come back anytime with questions and they would help me. This is my 3rd KIA I have owed. They all have been excellent cars and mechanically sound including my K-5 except for my 2015 Kia Forte which which threw a piston rod. This was related to a recall which occurred in 2014 on the engine that was in my forte I believe and had the same symptoms as was described in recall. I was not granted a credit for that car which was upsetting. Other than that I am very happy with my Kia’s and my K-5.

This review is long overdue, but well deserved. They’ve managed to fit me in for service on short notice more times than I can count, and they do it all with a friendly, can-do attitude that really sets them apart. One experience that really stands out is when I was in an accident and had to have my car towed. It was just before the service department was closing for the weekend, and I was expecting to be without a car for quite some time. But Steve made sure my vehicle was taken in immediately, and thanks to his quick action and dedication, I was back on the road the following week. That level of commitment and care is rare — and deeply appreciated. After two decades of visits, I can confidently say that Kia of Old Saybrook’s service department, led by Steve, has earned my complete trust. so far so good , this is our third kia , this k5 being the best and most comfortable . me being a car guy I enjoy the power and confidence this car has along with great fuel economy. the style is also not going out of date for few years as some do after the first yr or so.

i think car max got it right when they make you an offer they are serious.it is good for 7 days and the process is rather seamless

I LOVE my 2023 KIa K5 GT-Line. I have the Passion Red, and I must say it’s a very sexy color. The panoramic sunroof is my favorite feature. The K5 rides so smooth and handles very well. If you’re considering this car…don’t hesitate any longer. GO BUY IT!!!

I love my K5 it’s fast and reliable. Entering onto the highway is quick and smooth, I get that quick take off that’s needed. Also my first winter was great. I never got stuck I could always get out. The comfort is great the enterior is sharp. The outside has a different look and style of its own class. Love my K5

The service at Kia of East Hartford is exceptional. Calling to get an appointment was easy and I was able to secure an appointment for that same week. Frank checked me in quickly and took care that I was out in time to attend a doctor’s appointment with my daughter.

I love my Kia K5 Gt Line! White with Red Interior which was hard to find. I traded my Hyundai Elantra because we travel a lot and our backs hurt. Now I enjoyed my Elantra but the K5 has the larger bolsters on the seats and it rides great being a mid size! Our 10 hour trips once a month are much easier now! Styling is great and all the options and safety features are awesome! Plus the full warranty can’t be beat! Thanks Bedford Kia for finding my car!

No issues whatsoever. Just came back from a trip and got 41 mpg at an average of 75 mph. I would only suggest a better soundsystem for this model.

Alex excellent salesperson very patience and honest. The dealership is another story, if your looking for a reasonable price this is the dealership for you, they get cars from Auction so no idea about the history of the car, they get checked when you already signed for the As- is purchase, don't go there on a weekend, if you have patience, wants a bargain, (non negotiable deals)time, and good mechanic this is a place to go, got lucky with Alex very accommodating and great salesman

I reserved a Camry for a 7 day rental and got a fairly beat up K5...WHAT A GREAT CAR! Driving 55 I got over 60 mpg, and driving 80 with the a/c on high, 2 adults and 3 kids, it still got 48mpg. It is super quiet with a smooth ride. The seats in this base model were very comfortable. With 26,000 miles, in 2000 miles of driving, it didn't use any oil. I AM BUYING ONE for myself. This is an awesome car.

Most painless car buying experience i have ever had. My salesman, Dave, greeted me even before the dealership was officially open. He had a laid back attitude and didn't come off overbearing or high pressure. From beginning to end the process took less then 2 hrs including one of the best detail jobs I have seen. Showed me multiple different models and was not pushy or overbearing at any point during the experience. After deciding on a lease for a new Kia Niro PHEV I dealt with the service manager Alex Pashchak to get the final financing paperwork done and he was also terrific and not pushy at all, explained all the extended warranty packages to me in detail and helped set one up that would work perfect for me in the future. Anthony made sure to introduce me to the service department and set up my first appointment with them before I left (they were also terrific) Anthony also made sure he’s been available over the phone anytime. I had any questions about the vehicle and even reached out afterwards to make sure that I was happy with my purchase and if I had any more questions. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend to anybody I know looking to buy a car to go to Kia of Old Saybrook and work with Anthony.
