Two complaints the brake pedal squeeks when you press it and the Eco mode is too restrictive at times. Otherwise this car is amazing! I love getting 36mpg when I have a lead foot and 50 when I'm being conservative! The power from this 4 cylinder is astonishing! I am completely surprised I do not have more speeding tickets! Handling is amazing and becomes more sporty when you take it out of eco. Fun to drive, has more power than expected and is a hybrid, couldn't ask for a better combination!

I drove and owned so many different cars but this is the second time i buy kia optima but i prefer optima hybrid, only oil and brake pads changed. make sure to check with recalls if any immediately take to dealership they will fix it for you. it is my first time giving a review on a car but is worth it for sure.

Wow I'm totally amazed with this car! I've driven Audi's & BMW's and just recently got out of an Infiniti G35, I looked at this car because I need to save on gas, taking both kids to their soccer games and activities, I'm all over the place. So far I have been impressed with the gas mileage! This car is so stylish and comfortable and has every option I need. I never write reviews on anything but I like this car so much that I felt the need to add to all of the many happy optima hybrid drivers out there. It took my a lot to consider the change from my history of owning the other big name luxury brands but wow I'm glad I did! You get a great car for a fraction of what you'll pay with the others! Buy one!!

This car is exactly what we're looking for! It's a hybrid so great on gas, it's roomy inside, the entertainment center is full of new stuff such as Apple Car Play, rear cameras, driver only A/C and it's great looking in and out. This 5 stars in for one employee in particular. Tim Gardner in the service dept. My little story... I had recently purchased my vehicle on April 1 & had to return it on April 4th due to the speakers, window and a little idle. It was now 4/16/2018 and my car was still not finished because the speakers were missing a part that need to come from Korea, they told me my car would be finished no later than Monday and that was a promise...So long story short everyone I spoke with said they would call me back and help me figure this out and no one did, they called with the same info about waiting for a part but no new news. Thankfully I called in 4/17/18 to check on my vehicle on when the part will be in and Tim (which was my first time speaking with i'm through these couple of weeks.) and he said the part was scheduled to arrive on 4/24/18 I was furious. Here I am driving loaner cars and not even able to enjoy my new car for a whole month. He listened to me and quickly went into action and said I am going to help you, we are going to fix this. Literally in 2 hours he called back said that they can get my car to a certain place and they can do it if I agree and also offered me a couple of other things and said I will get your car to you by today or tomorrow after he explained this to a manager. All in two hours! and I couldn't get a straight answer for two weeks! Tim called me when it left car max and when it came back and tested the stereo for me himself! He completely turned my whole experience back to a positive one again and now I am truly happy he went above and beyond and keep his word! He was very kind and put actions to his words! He is definitely the highlight of my week! now I can drive my new car thanks to TIM Gardner.! Thank you TIM! You don't know how happy we are!

This is a very handsom vehicle. It drives smoothly and the fuel economy is good. I do not like the touch screen in the vehicle. It is glitchy and unpredictably unresponsive.

Purchased new in 2013 trading a Porsche Cayenne in for this little gas thrifty sedan. I rented a Kia and drove one to Atlanta from Chicago and was so impressed with decided to buy one. Then I bought my son one and my daughter a Sportage. The Kia Optima Hybrid is spacious enough for large adults and powerful enough to get up and go decently. Best part is 600-700 miles between fuel stops. My gasoline expenses dropped 300 percent when I purchased my Kia. Love this car.

We have had this car for two weeks and have already taken a 350 mile trip one way and drove all over the city of Chicago! It gets great gas mileage but takes getting used to to be able to maximize the savings, but you will figure it out! It’s a little slow getting out of the gates if you want to meet the advertised gas mileage but worth it! I found the brakes to be very good not slow to stop like others have suggested! It can be a little sluggish at first switching from electric to gas, but like I said you will figure this out! I love the way the car handles and it feels very sporty and luxurious inside and out! Backseat is surprisingly roomy and comfortable. Trunk has sufficient space. We will see how many miles we get from it! I bought this one used for my 15 year old daughter to learn to drive in and it came with 55000 so time will tell. Overall great car if it serves her well they high school we may look to adding a newer Optima hybrid to the family in a few years.

We love the car! Comfortable on long drives and the hybrid is great on gas. Drives very nice and plenty of power when you need to pass. The navigation system, heated seats & steering wheel, memory seating are all standard on this model and would not get another car without them now that I have had the experience.

Traded in my old Tahoe for a 2017 Kia Optima Hybrid and I could not be happier! First time owning a Kia and the car has been great, you get so many features for the money. I’ve had the car for just over a month and am averaging 43mpg in Dallas, TX so the EPA is accurate and I’m saving a ton of $ at the pump. My car came with the technology package (blind spot monitor, lane departure, auto emergency breaking front and rear, nav) which has been super helpful driving in Dallas traffic. Also got lucky and ended up with the panoramic moonroof and two tone paint (white with black pano moonroof) which make this car look really sporty. Definitely doesn’t look like a hybrid. As long as it remains reliable I’ll be very happy with my purchase. Loving this car.
