When my husband first went into Generation Kia, it was only because the dealership was so close to his job. We had a worn out Oldsmobile Delta 88 and we desperately needed a new car, but we had never bought a new vehicle before, ever. My husband met David Pigate first, and when he called me and told me he was looking at cars, I didn't expect us to get approved. We didn't have the greatest credit and we had only been in NY for a year. David was very optimistic though. When I got to the dealership and met David I was first struck by how genuinely nice he was. He didn't give off that sleazy used car dealer vibe that we all think of when we think of car dealerships. He was outgoing, sweet, and took a genuine interest in us. He even got our daughter a couple snacks while we were waiting. That was the only thing that sucks about car buying is the waiting, and the waiting, and the hours you spend there. But, we didn't have great credit AND we couldn't do a huge downpayment, so we knew they were working hard to figure things out for us. We ended up with a really nice 2014 Jeep Patriot with payments that we could afford and even afterwards when we were having issues with all of the points we needed to finish registering the car, they let us take the Jeep home on dealer tags so I wouldn't be left without a car. Fast forward a year later to now, and my husband needed to get a second vehicle for work. He wanted a Dodge Ram 1500. At first, he looked at actual Dodge/Chrysler dealerships. He got "pre-approved" with "no money down" by Chrysler Capital and we thought that was pretty great. After talking to one dealership though, he felt pretty good about a truck, but the next day (after they had run inquiries on his credit like TEN times) they never called him back. He was livid. We talked to another Dodge/Chrysler dealership and kind of had the same thing. They didn't have a huge selection of older used Rams (like 2010-2013) and the only one that they did have that we could really afford we couldn't get financed for. Frustrated with everything, my husband was about to give up. I told him (even before we went to the second dealership) that we should call David again. He didn't think they'd have anything for us, but lo and behold they had a couple Rams that were just what my husband was looking for. My husband went and looked at a couple and we really liked one. Talking to David and Ron, we realized that my husband's credit and mine as well had taken a hard hit from the other dealerships who had flooded our credit with over 20 inquiries in less than two days! David and Ron explained how this would look to the banks in trying to get a loan, but they said they would try anyways for us. Again, David worked tirelessly for us. He even came in on his day off to help finalize the paperwork and we were able to get our second vehicle! This dealership is the best. They really do treat you like family. I could go on and on. Honestly, David was and is the best car salesman ever and he ruined it for every other car salesman out there :-D.

My wife are welcoming our 3rd child in April 2019 and we bought a certified pre-owned 2015 Sedona LX in Nov 2018. We love the van. It drives smoothly, the turn radius is impressive, it's roomy inside with nice interior features, it's got plenty of power, and the gas mileage is good for a minivan (we get 27 mpg on the highway. In general we average 21.5 mpg). It drives quietly at high speeds and has an adequate sound system. The touch screen is a good size and the backup camera view is clear and easy to see. We are very happy with our purchase.

Well let me start with the reason for us to going to Smithtown Kia. We originally went to Eagle Kia in Riverhead NY because they were a Costco participating dealer. If you are considering shopping at Eagle Kia, run don't walk away! We were lied to by the manager Tom saying if we did not finance through the dealer we would lose the $3,500 Kia rebate. That is not true I checked with Kia. The Saleswoman at Eagle Kia Amanda was no better and would not return my calls because they could not find the color Optima we wanted. That is all I will say about Eagle Kia for now because that will be all be in another review. I called Smithtown Kia to inquire about a 2018 Horizon blue Optima I saw in their online inventory. I was told a salesman would return my call shortly. Within 5 minutes Gerard returned my call, he was professional and friendly. I told him about the Costco price I had agreed on with Eagle Kia and he said he would get back to me in a few minutes. 10 minutes later he called back with a price that was very close to the Special Costco price and Gerard informed me we could get our own financing with no penalty. I gave him a deposit to hold the car until I could get there after work. When I arrived that night the car was out front just like he said for me to inspect. We loved the car and filled out all the necessary paper work and were told we could pick up the car the next day. The next day the car was meticulously detailed just as promised. Gerard had us sit in the car as he proceeded to explain everything about the car, from the emergency brake to the stereo with apple play.( That was a first for us, in the past the sales people would throw us the keys and say goodbye). We spent more time with Gerard showing us how everything in the car worked then we did finishing up the paperwork. Everyone was nice at the dealer from the receptionist to the finance manager Gerard Ragan and the sales manager Greg Carrion. I told Gerard Rennie we expected a painless experience and that is exactly what we got. I am very happy and thankful to Gerard and the rest of the staff at Smithtown Kia. I will recommend them to anyone in the market for a new car. Gerard Rennie is the best!!

Hello, Because of the conditions of our roads in Westchester I was looking for a car that could keep up with the latest "pot holes". When I asked around one place and name kept coming up on a consistent basis. Everyone said to go to Stamford Subaru. When I did go I was introduced to Robert Fuch, and boy was I glad I spoke to him. He did not pressure me or my family in any way, and his professionalism is top notch. He takes his time and tries to understand your needs and what you expect from the car. He is a wonderful person to know and to have dealt with. Yes his recommendation on which type of car for my family and me was 100% dead on. We have already taken one mini-vacation (3 days) in the car and it drove and handled the road like a dream, just like he said it would. I am looking forward to take a 2-week driving vacation in 8 weeks in the car. If you are looking for a car and asked me whom I would buy my next car from I would not hesitate to say STAMFORD SUBARU and see ROBERT FUCH! I have 2-pinched nerves in the center of my back so a car ride anywhere is a new degree of pain. I explained the type of ride my back needs, the type of family car we need and he suggested and explained to me what type of car I should try. I suggested another car and he told me why that car would not be a good choice, but said we would try both cars. The ride was several left and rights, and over some bumpy roads.... even 2 potholes, and you know what? NO PAIN! It was the first ride I took that did not require a painkiller when I got out. I was so comfortable in that car that I did not want to try the other car. Since I did not want to test-drive the other car he suggested to just sitting in the other car in the show room to feel the difference on my back. Needless to say he was 100% dead on and I am very happy with my new car.

Fun to drive; easy-to-clean seats; driver seat is incredibly comfortable. My brother bought a same year model Honda Odyssey and after seeing my Sedona is very envious...especially of my monthly payments! The Sedona is a great value.

I've dealt with different car dealerships in the past. Some have been nightmares. Not so with Smithtown Kia. My family and I have been leasing with them for years. The staff are very polite, respectful and informative. Greg Carrion, the General Manager, is the best! He is professional, personable and caring. My Salesman, Gerard Rennie, was the nicest guy ever. I wanted a new Optima. I expected to have to settle for what was left of the 2018 models. He gave me a car that was better than I had hoped for. It was a 2019 Optima S, a brand new edition to the line. What a beautiful car. Gerard went to Greg and worked out a fantastic deal. Greg made sure I was happy with the car. It was an offer I couldn't refuse! Gerard encouraged me to contact him if I had any questions or concerns. Honorable mention also goes to Rosa Fernandez-Walker. She was very friendly and made the finance part painless.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

Taking the Stress and Pain out of Car Shopping

Buying a car is stressful even if you have a lot of experience. Historically, it has been time consuming, emotionally taxing and most of us go into a dealership with far less knowledge than we ought for a purchase of the magnitude of a car. Salespeople have (understandable) pressures to move inventory and even the most fair-minded is looking to get the highest price they can get away with. It is harrowing at best. With my experience with Carvana, all of these stresses were eliminated. I browsed inventory as widely or narrowly as I wanted, for as long as I needed. I could dictate pricing ranges that were suitable for me. The car I received was *exactly* the car I examined online, right down to some inconsequential bumper scuffs. Beyond this, and *absolutely unlike* any other online business, I could speak to a *real human being* within a few minutes of calling (I had six or seven conversations with Carvana agents over the 3 1/2 weeks from car selection to car receipt). They either had the answers at hand, or researched them and replied promptly with a follow up call. Delivery coordination and drop off (and test drive) were *painless no pressure* experiences???all preparatory contract paperwork was prepared in advance leaving only title transfer stuff to take care of. It took 45 minutes, tops. (I transacted entirely in cash, so I cannot speak to the process when there is financing.) Honestly, the biggest delay was on *my* end getting the insurance transferred (having to wait on hold with my insurance company for 15 minutes). The car was 100% was described???absolutely no surprises. The images on the web site for my car were not stock images. What I saw was what I got. Naturally, it was clean, filled up with a full tank, with new tires and the whole nine yards. Even got a ???free??? Carvana reusable coffee cup and key chain. Nice touch. The part that I found the most extraordinary was the 7-day money-back guarantee, which pretty much covers a change of mind unless you get into an accident or drive it a ton (over 400 miles, and even then, they???ll take it back after a modest per-mile-over-400 charge). All in all, I was dreading buying a car (and selling my used one) and Carvana made it pleasurable. I am absolutely recommending them to all of my friends and coworkers and I hope (as a relatively new company) they keep up the excellent work.

Yes, where do I start. Do I start with this being the best car buying experience I've ever had? That would be too obvious. But it would be the absolute honest truth. I think that everyone is so used to going to the dealership. Being there for 8 hours (you should get paid for being there you're there so long). Sales people trying to up-sell you on every little thing that you didn't ask for. Just an all around miserable experience. Then you go to carvana.com. You put in exactly what you're looking for. Exactly what you want to pay and presto you have a wonderful car. I believe it took me 45 minutes to do this entire transaction. From first going on the site and finding my 2016 Chervolet Equinox (maybe 15 minutes). To uploading my paperwork (5 minutes). To being approved (5 minutes). To having the car delivered, taking a test drive and signing the papers (20 minutes). It was the best transactions I've done since finding my husband. I've told everyone I know about this. We've watched videos of other people getting their cars. Too funny. Thank you Carvana for this wonderful experience. Can't wait to get my Husband a car now.

First I will say I am a pain in the add when it comes to purchasing things especially cars. I Nit pick and change my mind. Now about the dealership I give it 5 stars first off its crazy clean in the used car and new car showroom and their lounge area is open and nice. I dealt with a woman named McKenzie who sits up front for my actual purchase. She was very good non hassling laid back and showed me multiple cars again because I hate spending money. The car I wanted was a 2014 is350 which was almost sold but she let me know she would keep me posted. The person flaked and she pit me in it with the finance woman. I don't remember her name but she sits in the glass office and she gets 5 stars. She doesn't hasslee at all and she kept helping me work down my rate to get where I was comfortable. They also beat out the warranty company I lined up by $1850 so ingot 5 years bumper to bumper 125k for $1850 less than I almost opted for. The last thing is on the new car side the first day I went in I dealt with a big dude ex military but nice guy he was helping out on used cars. He got me to come back and stick with Generation Kia. The dude was down to earth again no hassle and he had me sold on a rare 2012 buick gs turbo 6 speed. That was until the IS350. If I had to go new he would get my cobtract. So I recommend the spot Generation Kia in Bohemia and honestly I don't usually like big dealerships

I purchased a 2016 Kia Forte 5 from Eddie Quinones. Eddie did not pressure me. Not even once. He answered a pile of questions. I know I took about 2 hours of his time. Not once did I get the impression he was in a hurry to get things moving. He was pleasant, respectful, helpful, knowledgeable and understanding. Everyone has their own reasons for buying a car. He understood my reasons and helped me get into a car I really like. I really can't say anything bad, it was all good.

I went to this dealership on May 19 to purchase my son's first car. I walked in with a tremendous amount of skepticism based on previous experiences at other dealerships. It took only a ten minute conversation with JC to be won over. he was a fantastic, personable salesman who did not come off as pushy or disingenuous. He was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely courteous. We walked in at 9:30 in the morning and by 1:30 in the afternoon, my son drove off in his car. Great experience.

Awesome color for my fraternity and spiritual mission in the community. The car ride is smooth. Doors lock and open securely. Customer Service excellent. Could use a GPS for 2019.
