Used Mazda CX-9 for sale near Oak Park, IL under $100,000

Owned this cx-9 for a year and a half and bought it new. I am constantly shopping for a new car, not because I don't like it, but I am of the belief that the best time to shop for a new car is when you don't need one and you're not unhappy with the one you got. I have not had any problems with the CX-9 and my only gripes about it are to do with the size. It's a little smaller than I'm used to. I'm 5'9", which is by no means tall, and I have to duck so I don't hit my head getting in and out but that could be remedied by lowering the seat which I don't care to do. I also regularly hit my head on the open liftgate. So yes, it's smaller than something like a Grand Cherokee or Explorer or the Highlander of the same model year but it's also a much better value, much better made and much, much, much better to drive. I live in an area with twisty hilly roads and I use the paddle shifters constantly. This is a fun car to drive. And it performs better than my parent's new e-class Mercedes. It's also more comfortable than that and easier to get in and out of for me. If you've got a ton of kids and junk to haul around, you're probably going to find this too tight but otherwise if you need a mid size SUV and you care about performance and overall quality, this one has your name all over it. For years and years I've had full size trucks so I'm used to sitting up higher and having an enormous cabin but I've been looking at them lately, even the ones with price tags nearly twice as much as this one's was and they just look and feel like such junk in comparison to the Mazda. Despite the smaller size, I haven't really run into very many scenarios where I didn't have enough space for my day to day needs, including taking home some 2x6 lumber which fit easily on the inside resting on the console. It's just that it's not as roomy and high up as competitors. So that's your tradeoff. It's a better made, better performing vehicle just that it might be a little smaller and not as spacious as you were hoping for. I really can't think of anything else to really complain about.

Upgraded from the CX-5. The CX-5 proved to be a reliable daily driver, that provided comfort and a sporty drive. We just need more room. So the CX-9 was the logical choice, and we ended up getting the Signature. The 3rd row is great for small kids only. The rear captain's chairs are great. The car does look good, drives well, the turbo has enough power to move it effortlessly no matter how steep the road. The only complaint I have are the front seats! They are too stiff and after a long drive 4+h, I need a break because my tailbone was killing me. Switched drivers' same story with the wife. So bought a kit and tilted the seat a little more than factory and that seems to have solved the issue. I am thinking about finding some CX-5 seats and swapping them out. Otherwise, the car has performed well, no mechanical issues in 30K miles. Your normal oil change and a set of tires. In conclusion, if you need a daily driver with some more room, that is reliable, looks good, drives well, ......this should be on your radar to consider.

fully satisfied with my ourchase; the product performs as expected, is reliable, and worth the money - my only complaint is that the seats need better cushoning, after 1.5 hours of driving you van start to feel it on your tail bone.

Paolo was our salesman and he was beyond helpful, kind, and easy to work with. I had been talking to Rachel through emails and she set everything up for us, as far as what payment we wanted. She got us just we asked for. We then went to the dealership and Paolo helped us with the rest of the way. He showed us the truck, ran numbers for us and made it work so that we got the payment we asked for. This was my sons first experience buying a new car and it could not have been a better experience. The manager there also came out to talk to my son and be sure he understood everything about the lease. I thought that was awesome. There was at no time any feeling of being rushed, or being pressured to buy the truck. We went home to talk about the payment and 2 days later bought the truck. I just bought a 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLS 53 AMG from Chicago Auto Place. I'm out of state but deal was great. Took about 5 days to get delivered. Longer than i wanted but they delivered. Kept communications the entire time. Ricky was great. In the process i got worried and started researching. There are some people years ago that didn't review well. I really don't thinknthe deserve those reviews. After i got the car i asked the owner about them. He said they changed their business modelnto higher end cars with lower miles. And it has worked for them. I am 100% happy and have a stellar car. Inwould recommended whole-heartedly. They are in Chicago and i amnin Texas. Stressful buying online but they delivered on all cylinders.

This was my first time visiting the new stand alone Genesis dealership down the street from the previous Hyundai/Genesis dealership. The experience and customer service were night and day in comparison. Adam was professional and courteous along with the rest of the staff. At the previous dealership, it was a playground up to and including witnessing a profanity laced fight in front of the entire waiting room between a sales person giving a test drive with a potential customer and a porter that cut him off. I came in for routine maintenance as well as an inspection to a couple of issues I was continuing to have in which the old dealership could not supposedly find after numerous attempts with the other most likely caused by them when I had to return twice for a recall. Adam called a few hours later with a find and fix for both issues with no warranty coverage haggling. I've always loved my Genesis but I would NEVER go through the previous dealership no matter how many times they harassed me with daily calls, emails, and texts (true story). I absolutely will go through Aurora Genesis when I'm ready for a new one!

I looked at alot of suv's! As a mechanic they needed to meet a higher standard. In the price bracket there were only two suv's that I would consider. So I own a Mazda cx-9 Grand touring,it was the best bang for the buck in my opinion for price reliability and comfort. Bought it with .6 miles on it ,it now has 51247 So yes I've had a few issues since new the pass side window motor broke, the blower motor broke and the alt broke 3 times ! So the first two problems I understand and we're cheap to fix the alt was replaced under warranty twice and once by me out of warranty. Living in fl. There's runs of deep puddles and alt is low . I now have a life time warranty on the alt and haven't had a issue since! So I've talked with a few of the mechanic s at the dealership and the main company to start a recall /service bulletin witch would make the dealership install a splash shield by alt so maybe if your reading this the problem has been fix there 2016 models have a splash shield already so if your looking at a newer one your good to go ! I would suggest this suv to everyone . One downfall is the technology in it is older it works great but primitive compared to other suv's of the year I myself preferred this stuff it's easier to us compared to the complected newer ones .
