This car is luxury and performance at its best! Rides like a dream and drives like a sports car. The dual turbos and the 5.5 V8 give it all the power you could ask for. And the heated and cooled seats, with almost infinite adjustments make it extremely comfortable.

Amazing vehicle, but only buy new if you want the S63, the Maybach, or your just really rich, if not, then just wait 5 years, and get it for 70 grand! The value is so low because you can just wait for it to depreciate like crazy. But overall, this is an awesome car.

BEST CAR WHAT WE HAD !!! It is solidly built, quiet, and smooth. I'm a big guy, 6'3" and big-boned, with two younger children that require car seats. There is still some room behind me with the seat backed up all of the way. The features and smart key are a nice touch.

I've clocked in around 40k miles on my S320, and bought it at 110k miles. Overall, its the best car I have ever drove. Aside from regular maintenance and a tune-up at the 130k mark, it's been my pleasure to own. Not only this, but the straight-six engine has plenty of room to work, and mine being a 1995 model it's quite easy to find parts online. While there aren't many aftermarket parts for this model, it's by far been a pleasure owning. I should specify that the one I got was in fact armored, so my suspension is a bit more washy and body roll a bit more of a downside. But I digress, I love this car, and for the price I paid ($7k usd) it's nearly impossible to get something this good, and it has many amenities that even many modern cars dont have. I've never really "loved" a car before this, and wasn't much of a car guy. After owning this majestic boat, I can see why people love cars. It may have low fuel economy and drink premium, but this thing is magical to me and I fell in love. Plus, the mechanicI went to actually told me it's built more like a truck than a car underneath, making many things like the transmission easy to access for servicing. I love this car, and it honestly has a "Timeless look" as Doug DeMuro said in his video. It's a classy car that feels like a rolling couch, and overall is an amazing vehicle if given regular maintenance.

This car meets a lot of the requirements I needed to have 1 being leg room and comfort. I don't like that the seat belts only extend so far and chokes me sometimes and that it doesn't have a quick take off like other v8 engines I have driven but still rides great like floating in a boat

This car should be classified as an “exotic”. The S550 Coupe is by far the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Well, our 2008 S63 AMG was a monster, but very heavy. The ride is harsher than expected over rough roads, but it isn’t close to a deal killer. The interior is perfect, but the controls were clunky at first….until you get used to it.

I bouth my Genesis at King- thougth it would be easier to service nearer to my home. Well worth the drive. Lacey even connected me with a salesperson to help fiquire on of the features on my vehicle. let’s just say that this car has so performance amg or not and the build quality is magnificent. the amg model (mine) has a alcantara headliner and just fits the car. as far as parts go.... this car is older. don’t expect it to last forever but if something happens GET GENUINE PARTS... will the be pricey yes... but it’ll last. also don’t get chinese parts for major things. there are SOME things you can use it on if it’s very simple but just do research. this car is the same pretty much as the next few years up to 2013 i think. the performances beats some of the sports cars to this date and it’s very comfortable... the technology for this age is amazing as well. MPG is not the best but still it’s a very fun luxury sports car

I have been a driver for a local MD dealer for approximately 10 years and have driven every model and style Mercedes during that time. I have been watching for just the right car to be traded in to the dealership and finally this 2008 S550 4matic with 30,000 miles was traded in. This review was written on June 5, 2020. This beautiful car was in showroom condition and I grabbed it as soon as I could get into the used car managers office. I would recommend an older S class to anybody looking for the ultimate in ride comfort and safety.
