Used Nissan Xterra for sale in Chicago, IL

I had to fly in to O'Hare and Brian came to pick me up. He was a good guy and had all the paperwork ready. I was in and out in less than an hour.

No major problems with my car i move it and have been happy with it since the day i bought it. It had 13 miles on it and today has over 230,000 miles and really no major problems

I would definently recomend this place to anyone. the service was great and the people there are really friendly, i am going to shop with them again in the future.

This SUV is very functional. My only complaint is the gas mileage, but is inline with other SUV's. Loaded and towing still has lots of power.

So Mike sold me a GMC acadia 2010 with a 116.686 miles on it.....so far it's ok I took it to jiffy lube right away and got it inspected ...it passed and afterwards I got my own car warranty company for this car .... remember people get a warranty when buying a used car I did ....but I think that the costumer service would so better they spoke a little more

Had a 4Runner before this. I don't find it much different! Works great! Will drive it as long as we can. It is comfortable and we bought it with 150km on it. Drives and runs like new.

Never got stuck in the snow or flood waters. Great ground clearance!! Reliable, Durable. Needed a rear camera though. Hoping for the 2021 New design.

This car is one of the best I've seen on the road. I currently own a 2006 at 250k miles and it's still running strong without any major problems. This is an incredible vehicle that not many appreciate which is saddening. It's mainly for offroading but it can also be used for day to day trips. Looks extremely nice on the outside, even better than the Pathfinder Armada.

Yes, I said orange sherbert but hear me out! In the world of SUVs names like Jeep, Bronco, 4Runner, and Land Cruiser reign supreme. They're all pretty reliable, good price depreciation, and fun to drive...but i would argue the Xterra should at least be in the conversation. The Xterra is a great vehicle. It runs on the uber reliable and powerful Nissan 261hp 4.0 liter engine. Parts are pretty cheap. Its easy to work on. It's got great space and has got great mods available for it. It was basically built for fun. The design is boxy and outdated but also unique. I think if you can get past the name and not following the trend you'll likley be happy with this faithful companion. Yes its great to have Vanilla, Chocolate, and strawberry flavors but those get old after a while. The Xterra is fun, just like Orange Sherbert. you're not winning any michelin stars with it but you are guaranteed to have a good time.

Would like to thank Liz and all that made the purchase of our Son's Dodge Challenger R/T such a smooth and easy transaction . We searched online for a specific car and color and found it with them. Liz provided us with a full video of inside and out walk around since we live to far to see it in person. My wife and i expected some slight imperfections being that we were purchasing a used car . SE 4x4 model. I've owned the Xterra for 4 years. I bought it with a blown transmission, due to the coolant/tranny fluid intermix factory default on the automatics from2005-2010. It was not advertised as having any issues but I caught it before buying it. This is only for automatics. $3600 at AAMCO with 3 year warranty plus the radiator. THE GOOD: That said, this thing has been awesome! It has good power, good street manors, drives well in the snow (4x4), looks good, and I have done a fair amount of off roading and it has impressed me and my friends. Anything I've had to fix has been super easy compared to prior vehicles I've owned. There are a fair amount of cheap upgrades available and this is a cheaper and more unique alternative to a Jeep Wrangler 4 door. with the seats folded flat it has enough room for most things you need to hall. Also this thing will fit 33" tires with stock suspension but I would stick with 32" if you don't want to deal with getting them to fit or a lift. The factory roof rack can come in handy. It can tow a fair amount of weight but I'd recommend air lift if that's your plan. You can pack all your stuff between the roof rack, room inside and strapping on a cargo carrier to the tow hitch. The Rockford Fosgate stereo is awesome! THE BAD: Transmission will intermix with coolant and blow auto transmission if the radiator is not upgraded (matter of time). It's suspension doesn't last real long so tasteful upgrades have been a major reason I love this thing off-road (Bilstein 5100 shocks) OME add a leaf. The leaf springs will weaken and need replaced every few years and aren't great for towing if not upgraded. The gas mileage has been 17 in the summer, 16 in the winter with 50/50 mixed driving. 33" MT tires and rims have brought this to 14.6 with the same driving. Brakes are a bit squishy and worth upgrading also. The back seat is high for kids and a dog's, and difficult getting kids into carseats. OVERALL: outside of the transmission issue, this vehicle would have been good without any upgrades I listed. It's reliable, no engine issues and minimal maintenance costs. It's safe on the road and can drive well in all weather conditions. If you have a little money you want to put into upgrades you can really customize it and make it great!

Have a new Subaru Outback, but much prefer driving the xterra. Would own a new one, if still in production. Great feeling ride, never any major problems. Replaced a few recall items, but never left stranded anywhere!

Nope, they told me to check the car out, no one was trying to give me a sales pitch, they just let me inspect the car, take it out for a ride and ask questions about it. Overall no BS, we're very informative, and we negotiated a deal within 15 minutes.

I absolutely loved this car. It was a great first car and kept me feeling safe up in the air. It was the perfect car for a young driver and served many purposes.

In and out w/30 minutes. It took us longer to test drive the car, than to buy it. Straight forward and to the point. The car had a few scratches that needed repair. The only thing i feel could be better is air conditioning not very cold. But 10 out of 10. Comfortable main thing is 4wd great tires all around very impressed

Bought my 07 Xterra brand new exactly 12 years ago....not one regret, not one major problem. Has 135k miles. Horn not working and can’t figure out what’s wrong....any who....might be a dealer solution which I know will cost....but 12 years With no problems.....not bad

I’m in love with my Xterra Pro-4x. The car looks amazing, drives amazing, and is perfect for all of my hobbies. Best of all, the car really holds its value because it is a rare breed these days.

This vehicle meets all my needs. I had a truck for 19 years and bought this one with only 7300 miles on it in 2015. Meets my purpose hauling my dog, groceries, home repairs, trips, tv's, etc. I'm a single senior female that does a lot of home repairs and it hauls everything I've put in it including a 70"TV. I have all oil changes made every 6 months and today 12-2020 only has 25,000 miles on it. Replaced 2 tires due to nails but it drives beautifully. Added outside black vinyl strips and black window guards and whitewall tires all for looks. Love the power getting on and off freeways. Always had a standard transmission before but do love the automatic transmission on this one. Seats could have been more comfortable, but at my 5'9" frame, they will do. Not looking for frills, just regular car use for a senior that goes only to Bingo and shopping. Love it.

I'm currently on my 4th Xterra. What can I say? If you love 'em, you love 'em. Bought a 2004 and a 2006 new, and a 2011 and a 2015 used. All were manual transmission. The '06 and '11 stayed in the family as I passed them on to my daughter, who continued to use them (as I did) to commute to work and for extensive mountain highway driving. Always have loved their size and practicality, not to mention their reliability. Not much off-road, though I have no doubts they would excel there. I also limited long-distance highway driving due to comfort and fuel economy. Averaged 17-18 mpg on every one, which is the only feature about which I would carp (and which I'm sure contributed to Nissan's decision to end production in 2015). Nonetheless, I've always loved the look, performance and reliability and would recommend them to anyone in the market for a mid-sized 4WD. Certainly more comfortable and refined than a CJ-7.
