I walked into Volkswagen to see what resale cars they had. I was in the market for a used car for my son (his first car), and wanted to buy a safe car for him, but not brand new. I was lucky enough to find they had a 2013 Tiguan for sale, that had just come off a 3 year lease, with just over 37,000 miles. I myself have a 2013 Toureg that I am very happy with. I met with a salesman named Rueben, and from the start, he was polite, attentive, and knowledgable about this Tiguan. I took it for a test drive and sat down to discuss price. I didn't have too much time, so I ended up going back the next day. I also met with Rob Hoffman, who is a new manager running the store for the last couple of months. Long story short, I bought the car! It was a pleasure to deal with both Rob, and Rueben and I am considering going back to get another car when my current Toureg lease is up! :)

With my girls in collage we truly needed some reliable vehicles. They surfed and compared every dealer in a 50 mi radius . With that said we ended up on the door step of Security. Greeted promptly and brought into an amazing showroom . After a very pleasant walk around of the 13 avenger and 14 compass both super clean and drove like new? Hard to find when checking out used cars . That said and done we left with a new fleet . After a month or so had to bring the avenger back for some minor issues . scheduled an appointment for service and brought it in. the garage was as clean as the showroom? Amazing !! Though I had to wait a bit , my service person took care of eveything and with minimal cost (deductable) All issues adressed and no problems ! Had the girls take advantage of the 2 free oil changes by themselves ? A big boon for me , they told me how cool it was bringing there ! Everybody was so nice and didnt take to long. Man thats awsome ! didnt have to do it myself ! LOL ! Hats off to this dealer . Not only will I buy another vehicle from them I'll bring it back for servicing. Its feels good to find a car dealer that treats us like our local garage !!!!!! Thank You Security Staff !!!!!!!

The entire Smith Haven team went above and beyond to make my "end of the month" deal on my new 2017 ram 1500 sport! The one thing I loved most about this dealership is that you don't feel they are taking advantage of you. They gave me a fair deal and treated me with respect. For sometime now, i wanted a pick up truck for both pleasure and business use. Unlike a lot of other car shoppers, i would consider myself to be a very thorough shopper. I've leased so many vehicles in the past. I live over an hour away from Garden City Jeep and thanks to true car, i was able to reach out to a handful of Jeep/ Dodge dealership. I visited 3 of them before i ended up at Garden City!! From my initial encounter with Garden City, it was very professional. I was corresponding with Brittany via email before i scheduled an appointment. I knew of the promotions going on before i arrived. Upon my arrival, my salesman was Charlie Gonzalez. Hands down, from all my previous leases, Charlie's got to be one of my favorite salesman. The way he was dressed, his mannerism towards my mother and i was totally professional. He made sure our needs were known and met. Within the hour, i decided on the vehicle i wanted, test drove it & decided on the price. For some reason the store was very very busy, so i understood patience was needed. Charlie did his best to push everything through and kept us informed as to what's happening & the delay. He thanked us for our patience and cooperation. Within 4-5 hours, i was able to drive out the lot with the vehicle. Personally speaking, being in business for a decade & being a hustler, i got a steal from this dealership. I picked up a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 hemi 5.7L for literally chump change a month given my A+ credit score. Overall, as a consumer, i feel like i got a GREAT deal. To the other consumers rating this dealership or looking to go into this dealership, do your research, shop around, see what deals are there and then come to Garden City, ask for Charlie & be up front with him. Tell him what you want, what prices you've got from other dealerships and how Garden city can either match or beat the prices. Overall patience is needed, but with Charlie, you won't be disappointed. I purchased my Certified Pre-Owned Dodge Charger from here on June 21st 2017. A few weeks into the purchase, I started to notice a few problems. 1.The trunk access button on the rear would not work. (This was a very very helpful feature to me when it did work so I wanted it fixed) , 2. The Bluetooth module was bad so none of the voice commands or phone connection features worked. 3. The front passenger door lock was busted. 4. The tire pressure sensor was bad. With every used car that you purchase from here, you get a 3 month maximum care warranty as with most dealerships. However, you also get their "Platinum program" which also allows for free loaner car service, $8 oil changes for life and more. So, when I went in to get this checked out, my service adviser, Jonathon, did an absolutely impeccable job. He took care of my car and myself and went above and beyond my expectations. The repair list was lengthy so it was going to take about five days to complete and I was given a loaner car as well. Overall , the process was smooth and with minimal trouble. Now, the car is perfect thanks to the service department. Special shout out to Jonathon for the awesome care and great deal of respect he shows to every one of his customers. As well as the Mopar team for repairing everything and dealing with my gripes. Also a shout out to the cashier table for the loaner car. One heck of a ride, but, overall, an excellent experience. The older reviews are probably before they switched management or something. I highly recommend this dealership and their service department. Thank you so much guys. I would give 6 stars out of 5 if I could.
Walked into dealership, told their greeter at the desk I was just looking as my current lease was due in 6 months. I was told "ok, look around and if you need any help come back to me". WOW, no salesperson assigned to me immediately! I looked around at the various vehicles for 20 minutes and nobody bothered me, I loved it. When I had a question about a Wrangler, the young women at the front desk (sorry I can't remember her name) said a salesperson would be the best person to answer my question. I was introduced to Joe. Again, not a pushy salesman. He answered my question and we discussed the vehicle at length. When I expressed interest in leasing the Wrangler, and questioned how to return my car, as it was in the service dept. at another dealer, Joe introduced my to Jason Mascia- General Sales Manager. Jason explained how I should go about returning my vehicle very clearly. Cut to the chase, shortly thereafter I was driving home in my new Wrangler! Great customer service, great people, and a great deal! Would highly recommend them to family and friends.
