Don't buy this lemon
2019 ram bighorn, worst and most expensive truck I've ever owned. Notorious manifold leak after 20k miles, new mufflers, both front axles stub shafts and intermediate shafts failed at splines because of the design, water and dirt can enter the connection. Replace and they fail again. Tranfer gear overheats and leaves you stranded in the snow without 4 wheel drive. Transfer gear is clutch driven instead of gear or chain driven, so it doesn't actually lock. Brake system, abs and traction control are horrible in the snow. If you're on a slop, especially on a dirt road, the computer sends power to the front brakes making it impossible to not skid. Shutting off the traction control has no effect Bushings all make noise, especially the cab Bushings. The unconnect system works when it feels like it! This truck is a big expensive lawn ornament. Everything breaks right after the warranty. Don't expect any good faith from dodge. Until the federal government comes down on them, you are stuck! In 30 years of driving pickup trucks, I've never hated a truck more than this vehicle. I just want to cry, because the truck is so awful. Everything you fix, just breaks again.
Best ever comfort
Soft handling, quiet cabin. High up in the sky feeling safe and protecting my child best feeling in the world the panoramic is amazing and fuels cheap and lasts forever
Dodge parts and design are horrible.
Since I bought this truck, I have had nothing but problems already. I have had to replace the electrical system, controlling everything in my car. I have also had quite a few recalls on top of that. I have had water leaks and have heard from many dealers and repair shops that it is a problem with all dodge vehicles they make. The leak from the antenna from the back tail light and from the back sliding window. I have now had all three of these replaced. I am getting tired of paying for all these problems. Dodge should’ve made a recall to cover this. I will never buy another Dodge again. I have bought three in a row and their manufacturing has gone downhill with every vehicle. I am now no longer a loyal dodge customer. I will never buy another Dodge.
Wouldn't buy anything but a Ram truck
I bought my 2020 Ram 1500 Limited Edition used with 15,000 miles. The leather dash was coming unglued and the back window was leaking but both were replaced under warranty. My 4th Ram and this one rides like a Cadillac with the 4 corner air suspension which isn't recommended for cold climates. Great truck so far.
2020 Ram 1500 Eco Diesel 38K Engine failure!
Love my 2020 RAM 1500 Limited Diesel........ Until the motor went with only 38000 miles. It's been 3 months still no motor. Called RAM directly and they gave me a claim manager. Still haven't heard from them, I called them 2 times and talked to someone who said they will get back to me. 3 Months without my truck, they have had it longer than I have. Not only will they be putting a re-built motor in my truck they have no estimate delivery time for said motor. They have missed 5 back order dates as of now. Be carful of the fine print folks. I purchased a truck with 38K miles and might get a rebuilt motor with 200K on it and this is common practice. So the value of my truck instantly dropped 25%. I have called my claim manager 10 plus times and have never talked to him. On hold for about an hour multiple times and had to hang up. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with.
A very good 1/2 ton pickup.
A little disapointed in fuel economy. Getting 15 to 16 in the city and 18 to 19 mpg on the road. A great ride and very good interior. The active speed control works excellent, and slows down as needed and then returns back to set speed when available.
Best truck I have around
Best truck I have ever owned around them all fantastic writing truck drives nice needs more power though love the color hydro Blue ride like a cloud 🌨️
Very Disappointed!!
Took my truck to the dealership for my concerns of transmission locking up in low gear. Has happened five times. Need to shut off and restart to clear glitch. Battery dies, with a new battery. Had truck towed to the dealership. Of course NPF on either concern. No alternative means of transportation available other than Uber ride home and back. My 2020 Ram 1500 has 12800 miles on it. Famous last words are no problem found. Than you are sent back out on the streets and good luck until it happens again. Dodge basically is telling me get rid of this vehicle and please don’t by another Dodge Ram. My favorite truck is the Ram series. This is my second one. It killed me to do it but I sold Dodge Ram and purchased a Chevy Silverado last night. My hopes are to have a better experience with this Chevy. I will miss my Ram. I need dependability. This is not my first Silverado. We shall see how it goes.
Love it so far
I owned either Ford or Chevy trucks in the past this is my first Ram. The Rebel trim package won me over with the panoramic sun roof 12 inch infotainment screen etc. it’s a beautiful truck with every option and well thought out design. Only had it a couple months so far but I’m very pleased with the truck.
Great Truck
This 2020 Ram 1500 truck is well made, even more comfortable ride than our previous Luxury SUV. Every convenience you could want in a Truck. LOVE IT!!
