2004 VUE 5 SPEED MANUAL
Bought my 2004 VUE in 2007 for $7000. A 5 speed manual transmission. It had 116,000 miles on it. 17 years later it's just turned over 300k and runs like a top, starts every time, 29 mpg consistently, does not burn oil. Only issues have been clutch replacement twice and a water pump several years ago. It has been by far the best vehicle I've ever owned!!

Milaca Wheel Motors is EXCELLENT!
Milaca Wheel Motors is EXCELLENT! Mitch is a wonderful salesperson. He is very detailed, and responsive to all inquiries. We are very happy with the Chrysler Fifth Avenue purchase. Highly recommend their family dealership. A true pleasure to deal with them--John
Built Like a Brick
The main reason this car is five stars for me is because I got into a rear-end collision while going 70/km. The other car hit the back of the Saturn and slightly bent the hitch, but the car itself was completely fine! The other car's entire front end was in shambles. 5/5 things indistructable.

Ol Reliable
My aunt purchased my 2004 Saturn Vue when it was brand new with 25 mi on it from a local Saturn dealership, she maintained it meticulously through the dealership even long after the warranty expired she loves Las Vegas and would drive there monthly from California and it never left her stranded, only once in her third year of ownership the clutch gave out on her while she was in Vegas but the dealership replaced it under warranty and it's been on the same clutch ever since, it currently has 188,000 mi on it it's never overheated it's never needed a head gasket and to this day it still doesn't leak a thing, it does however burn a little oil, around 1/8 of a quart per full tank of gas which is to be expected with a higher mileage vehicle like this, recently she bought a brand new car and passed it down to me and I daily drive over 60 miles to and from work nightly going up and down the curvy section of the PCH, it does perfectly fine although it does need shocks but once again that's just a wear and tear maintenance item and I give it a lot of credit since these are the original shocks from 2004 and I've owned many Saturns in my life so I know it will be a very simple and easy replacement, so far after two tanks of gas I've averaged 25 and a half miles to the gallon including some around town A to B trips in traffic, all of the electronics work on it still every window switch works perfectly fine all of the dash lights work perfectly fine as well literally zero issues with the interior whatsoever me and my coworkers that I carpool with are pretty hefty guys and we all fit comfortably with our backpacks full of work stuff very roomy interior, it's old and was cheaply made back in the day so it's a very simple interior design nothing too luxurious but definitely the perfect A to B car for someone who wants something bigger than a sedan, I love driving around running errands with my dog in the backseat, come to think of it when I was younger I was driving it around a little too harshly and broke a plastic piece that connects to the shifter but I bought a brand new one and replaced it within 10 minutes so no big deal and that was completely my fault and before my aunt handed it down to me she had the shifter cables replaced because it was getting a little hard to get into gear once again another wear and tear maintenance item. At the end of the day it's a moderately sized SUV with a 4-cylinder engine that gets just over 25 miles to the gallon which I think is pretty good for a vehicle of its size, And since Saturn's are mostly forgotten about you can pick one up I'm very cheap and in very good condition I definitely recommend it.
