These guys were SO good to me. The owner heard through a friend that I was without a car. I have a 7 year old nephew, that I'm raising, and was planning to use my tax returns to buy a cheap car. Steve, the owner of CBS Quality Cars in Durham, made the decision to GIVE me a 94' Honda Accord. Gave it to me, at no cost. He even paid for the tags. These people actually care about folks, which is uncommon. They were kind, friendly, and professional. Simon is awesome!!! Thank you to Steve, Jeff, Simon, and all the guys who helped get my car to me. I am forever grateful to you all. If you want to buy a car, you should go yo CBS Quality Cars in Durham! They are the best!!

Turbocharged luxury golf cart that does 86 mph.

The gasoline engine version is choppy and annoying. The electric is smooth and fun to drive. Zero to forty is speedy as hell. It handles well in up to four inches of snow. Remarkably comfortable to enter and exit and occupy for up to 6'6" people. Great value for the money and an excellent second vehicle.
By far the best dealership I've been too. It is very rare when you come across a salesperson that's honest and has great work ethic; and that is exactly what I got from Matt! I simply told him what I was looking for and gave him my budget on a Tuesday afternoon and come Wednesday morning I not only got my vehicle but it was delivered to me. Now that's great customer service! Bob (the finance manager) came across some difficulty when it came to my credit but that didn't stop him, he came through for me and I am extremely grateful. They did not try to pitch another vehicle (like every other dealership did) but instead did their best in getting me approved for the vehicle I wanted. Matt and his team were honest from the beginning and its because of that honesty and hard work that my experience was a great one. Thank you Chicago Fine Motors!

Used to think these were impractically small and unattractive; had this as a work vehicle & absolutely loved it. Incredible practically, great space for a big guy to drive, enough space for groceries etc, and quite fun to drive as well
We found additional vehicles that are close to your year range.
We bothered to return because of the positive atmosphere.

Gary levingston was a pleasure to deal with. There was no pressure and all questions were answered with honest responses no excuses or changing the subject to why they had something better. They did follow up (as appropriate) but did not push to move ahead. We called back to set an appointment on our schedule. A bonus was having the owner manager stop by as we were wrapping up the agrement and spent 20 minutes with us. (Jessup Auto Plaza is a large dealership, with at least 4 other deals being done while we were there) The staff worked as a team and made the experience a very pleasent afternoon. We may have found a better price but we felt it was fair and did not walk out of the dealership as I have done in the past. The final word is we were looking to move up to a vehicle with new safety features and are happy with the experience at Jessup. I would return if looking for another vehicle.

So far it is the best car for commuting that I have ever owned. I love the green color and the design. It is nimble in traffic and fits in even the tightest parking spots.
This dealership is family oriented, pleasant and everyone that works there is nice. I looked at several vehicles that were in excellent condition. The pricing I found to be awesome, competitively speaking. Patrick, John and Laura made this an easy decision. Great job you all!!!

Used electric smarts are a great buy.

Second generation electric smarts are slower & smaller than the latest version. The ones coming off a 3 year lease are dirt cheep to buy & run. Mileage on them generally is low, because they are typically used as a second car. For around town, grabbing a few sacks of groceries what could be better? The utilitarian ability of the little car is really surprising. The front passenger seat folds almost flat, allowing space for long stuff. It is quick enough off the line and even has a little glass roof that allows you get some sun while you are zipping around town. I average 90 miles on a charge and just plug it into the 110 volt outlet in my garage. For the cost of a 5 year old crappy Yaris, you can have a 3 year old smart EV and reduce your carbon footprint.
Long review but Im still in shock with how well I was taken care of. This dealership is top notch. Long story short, they helped me get into the car that I wanted and helped me stay within my monthly budget. The basics: -the entire sales team is very friendly and welcoming and not in the "we want your money AND your first born" sort of way -no pushing me into something that I didn't want -no insisting that I "really could" afford a 2017 -very attentive, understanding, and kind salesman Bill Germano Now, the little things that go a looooong way: (in no particular order) -Bill came and picked me up at my home to come and sign paperwork -he stayed well past the time he should have gone home so I could go on a test drive -the night that I drove away with my new wheels, one of my headlamps zonked out. (Not sure if it was like that before I left, or if it happened after) BUT I sent a text and got a reply right away (this was at almost 8 pm, well after close). Called Alan first thing in the morning and was told "come in whenever you can and we will take care of it right away." I did, and they did! I walked in, told the young man (if you read this Im very sorry I didnt catch your name!) at the service counter my name and he said "Oh yes!! We are SO sorry!! I'll take care of that right now!!" 10 minutes, and I was in an out! Plus he gave me a cookie and a water and another very sincere apology!! -Leah in finance helped me immensely to stay within my budget -while signing my paperwork, Alan was very thorough and made sure I understood everything by answering all of my questions. I could keep going. But honestly, after how well this ENTIRE establishment treated me, I don't think that I'll be buying a car from anyone else!

Perfect commuter car if under 20mi round trip

I'm 6'4" and still have plenty of head room. Adjustable steering wheel tilt would have been a nice addition as part of the gauge cluster is obstructed by the top of the wheel. The left foot can't be extended because of the front wheel arch. In the dead of winter (temps in the negative teens F) range is down to 35mi - a garage is a must for those cold nights.
On the positive side, I love the size of the car. Compared to the gas version which takes ages to shift gears, the electric is very smooth and takes off with plenty of pep. Very fun to drive and can always find a parking space. Short wheel base means the ride is a little bumpy, but that is not a complaint for me.
Regenerative breaking is great feature. And the traction control work pretty well most of the time. Disabling traction control on icy roads doesn't work well, since the regenerative breaking works like an emergency break and locks up the rear wheels. Keep traction control off unless you need to climb up an icy driveway, otherwise, keep it on. If you could disable regenerative breaking, it would have been a different story. But even in heavy snows, the car is a champ.
Heater heats up the cabin quickly.
Seats are comfy. The seat belt is a bit clumsy to reach, but not the end of the world.
Overall, highly recommended if your commute is 20 to 30 miles round trip. Feels like you are driving an exotic with people noticing you when you are on the road.
I bought my first new car here. Carlos was wonderful. He did the best in getting me into a car I loved. I felt very comfortable and I was very satisfied. Juan did the financing part and was great. Thank you first national for geting me into a car that I didn't think I could get.

White Dog's Larry and Marty are knowledgable and trustworthy. They will also work with you. Their service was outstanding, the finishing touches they put on the car were perfect, and they delivered it to me in Omaha! They are the best dealers I have ever worked with. I am recommending them to all my friends and to my adult children and their friends!

The car is my first Smart Car and first EV. I have drove 130 miles so it has been pretty good. Only complaint/observation is that running the heater really eats up the battery, but I should of guessed that. Should be a efficient in town commuter.
