Fabulous car, some downsides

To be honest, the car is great. It looks and feels great in and out. The seats are stylish and the dash is sleek and has a large touch screen (mines a Sport model). However, there are downsides. I love how cool the screen is, but not having buttons feels dangerous. I have to look down too much to hit the buttons since I can’t feel then like a regular radio/whatever. Secondly, whoever thought it was a good idea not to make he cup holders round is crazy. Half is curved, but then it’s straightens out to look like a short bullet shape. What this means is that no cup is secure and the drinks bounce around and when you learn about it it’s from spilling coffee all over in your brand new car cuz you went over train tracks. Third, the transmissions jerks sometimes when you let off the accelerator. When it downshifts you can feel the car since back as the transmission starts to stop the car when it should be saving energy by coasting. These I’m told are normal traits in the car. Lastly, the 28mpg city rating is false. I get 20 in the city driving like a grandpa. Apparently these things suck when the engine is could and my 2 miles commute sees the worst efficiency I can imagine for a brand new 4 cylinder with such a good rating. All in all though, I like it and it’s a sexy car.

Haha, well I had this Squeaking on my truck and could`nt figure it out, but of course Wayne @ Garnet and David the tech did. It turned out that it was the frame bracket on the right rear lower A-frame, or words to that effect. I realized that Wayne has been taking care of my Explorer for few yrs. now and it just could not have just popped up. It turned out that it was from accident back in Jan. and was basically missed by the collision shop whom had done the work,. I spoke with them and Wayne and they took care of everything including being compensated by the insur. co. I`ll tell you this ; we all have problems but as long as there are guys like Wayne Thomas and David diagnosing the problems and getting them done in a timely fashion with the added convenience of supplying a loaner car for me, I know I have one less problem in my world because I know my Truck will always be in TIP TOP condition. I was looking to sell my Canadian vehicle and went to CarSense Chester Springs for a quote on a Saturday. They gave me a quote and I mulled it over for a couple of days then returned on a Tuesday morning to sell. The process was almost complete when they realized that they would not be able to resell my vehicle wholesale to an auctioneer (because it's Canadian and still reads in km) which meant the vehicle was basically useless to them. I could tell the buyer and other sales associates felt bad, but they also felt that their hands were tied and they couldn't purchase the vehicle from me at a loss. What happened next was truly unexpected. After checking all of their options and determining that yes, it was true that they couldn't sell my car at anything near the value they would pay for it THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD HONOR THEIR INITIAL QUOTE ANYWAY. And they did. My situation is pretty specific (Canadian vehicle, unfortunate oversight made when pricing out my vehicle, etc.) but overall it demonstrates that this is a dealership with integrity and heart. "Auto dealer" and "classy" aren't terms typically uttered in the same sentence, but I can definitely say that CarSense is a dealership with class. I have already relayed my experienced to several people and I will continue to do so. I would highly recommend CarSense Chester Springs.

This was the best used car buying experience I've ever had. Eric Reedy and the rest of the Hubers staff were extremely accommodating with very little pressure. They showed me what I wanted to see without pressuring me to look at cars I wasn't interested in. My vehicle had a very small problem and they fixed it immediately. They gave me a free loaner for three days even though I was over an hour away. Hubers combines the professionalism and customer service of a large dealership and the personal touch of a smaller, local business. They have earned my total trust!

My old car was my third minivan in 15 years. Now that my kids are older and leaving for college, I wanted something that could carry 6 or 7 passengers but was ... well... NOT a minivan. I did some research on late model used three-row SUVs, and found the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. (My favorite of my three vans was a 2005 Nissan Quest, so choosing Nissan was easy for me.) Before I started browsing for cars, I applied for credit through Carvana, and was approved. Next, I entered in all of the information about the van I was trading for the Pathfinder. (Beware -- the trade-in amount is only good for 7 days, and it can change wildly in that time!) I was pleased with the trade amount, and it was great that I could shop for my new car and see my down payment and monthly payment for every car I viewed! My specifications were pretty clear -- AWD, less than 10,000 miles, and never a rental car. I found my dream car a few days later, and started the purchase process. It was quite smooth and the directions were very clear about what documents need to be uploaded. When I went to click on "finalize purchase" (or something like that), a red flag popped up...my trade-in value expired WHILE I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CHECKING OUT! I got on chat with Carvana staff right away, and they were able to return the trade in value to NEARLY what it was before the expiration. This is something that needs to be addressed by Carvana -- once a customer is to a certain point in the process, those numbers need to be frozen. So we set a delivery time, and the Carvana rep was pretty much on time considering he was traveling 70 miles or so from the Chicago office. Everything was smooth -- signed a couple more papers, took my Pathfinder for a spin, Eric inspected my trade, and I left within 30 minutes with my new car. I would also like to add that I drove directly to my mechanic, so he could inspect the car and make sure I wasn't buying something with hidden damage. Live in Minnesota, wanted awd without the high step-in height of an SUV. Great traction and handling in snow. Was surprised how good the car is overall, however. Great handling/steering, very good ride. Nice interior, plenty of room, reasonably quiet. Power is adequate, but the chassis is so good that it is a shame it doesnt have 25 or 30 more horsepower.

We had no need for a car, since our 2009 Honda CRV had only 57,000 miles on it and was in mint condition. After a disappointing visit to Exton Nissan, it was certain that there would be no consideration or return due to the sales slip with MANY upchanges. I went to CAR SENSE to look and was given keys to drive numerous mid-size CRVs. I asked our salesman Ray about a particular vehicle and color which he found at the Hadfield location and had it in Chester Springs the next day in a snow storm. The buying process was swift and very accomodating. This vehicle should fill our needs for years. The service is" top of the line." This car is a crazy value for where its priced at all trim levels. With standard symmetrical all wheel drive in a compact as well as the optional eye site assist, it was hard to look else where. Mind you I live in an area where winter weather is about 4-6 months of the year. You wont win any drag races but it rides as smooth if not smoother than a full size sedan with the steering control of a sport, even in base/premium/limited levels. Highly recommend!

In 1998 we decided to lease our first Subaru and, of course, we visited your dealership first. However, it was not a very pleasant experience because people there were not friendly to us, and we had to find another dealership. When our lease had expired, we came again to your dealership. Unfortunately, after 3 years, the story repeated again. Since we are fans of Subaru, we have a new lease every 3 years. Before 2014, we got three Foresters and one Outback. In 2014, we had to lease a new car and we decided to try your dealership one more time. We were really surprised! The entire atmosphere there was completely different: sales consultants were friendly and knowledgeable. We remember that in the middle of our conversation with a consultant, Robe Shintaku (sales manager) came to us. He asked a few questions about the options we would like to have in our new lease, and then he went to check out our car. In 15-20 minutes, he came back with an excellent offer. We could not believe this is the same place: this team completely changed the business for better. We remember final part of our business ??? it was a very pleasant meeting with Gary Segal. Three years passed quickly. Several weeks ago, without any scheduled appointment, we came to Glanzmann Subaru again to get our Subaru #6! Our sales consultant was a very nice young man Scott Fields. We began our conversation and suddenly we saw Rob Shintaku. He came to us and after a short pause, he said, ???Are you Vishnevsky? Sorry, I don???t remember your first names???. We were completely shocked ??? after three years, he remembered our last name. It is impossible, especially with the last name like ???Vishnevsky???. All procedure took no more than 20 minutes: we got an excellent deal; by our request, Rob promised to add several features to our new Outback. In a week we got a beautiful Subaru #6! Dear Mr. Glanzmann, we would like to thank you and your fantastic team for an excellent service and understanding of client???s needs, being professional and courteous and willing to satisfy a client. This car is so easy to drive, and handles really well in nearly all weather conditions. It does get pushed around with high winds but that's expected. I love all the additions to to the car; backup camera, radio screen which your phone can plug into and you can control music and your maps easily.

This was my first service appointment after purchasing my new CX-9 a few months ago. It was hands down the best service experience I have ever had. I was warmly greeted and informed of the amenities available to me (I waited). The waiting area was clean, comfortable and spacious. I've been a life-time Honda driver and owner. It was time to let my high-mileage Pilot go as our family grew and it started to cost more to maintain (I loved that car). I opened my search for a replacement from Honda to Subaru based on the many great things I've heard via friends and family - both new and long-time Subaru owners. I began my search online, searching all dealers near me, looking at their in-stock Outbacks and Foresters. Since all had decent stock of what I was hoping would make it into our price range, I decided to narrow it down to Matt Slap, the closest Subaru dealer to us. I first contacted them to setup a test drive using the pop-up on their website. I was called by Mary T to ask when I could come in. She was pleasant, but unfortunately I was at work and couldn't talk long. A day later I again went to the website and setup an appointment for a test drive, easy thing to do. I was greeted by Greg Winter at the door. Friendly right off the bat and ready to help. We cut to the chase and got out on the lot to take a look. It wasn't long before I was behind the wheel of a Outback Premium. We talked about the car as I drove, of course and, moreover, OTHER makes. He knows his cars and the details! Much more than I could ever care to know or take time to. My point is that it made me feel like he wasn't just going to keep directing me as to why Subaru was great but what else is out there is today's world of cars. Again, something I don't think about much, until ready to purchase a new one. We took a Forester Premium out next. Another pleasant ride and more "car talk". When we returned we looked at other trims of Forester and talked over what I'd look for in price, along with what else they might have in stock. Not long after we were off to their lot on 273, to compare even more. A Forester caught my eye and so we headed back to the dealer to talk more and see what they could do for me. The summation of the rest of the visit: -They looked at my Pilot and gave me a very fair value on it (it being a Honda DID have an impact on whether they would entertain taking it or not) - They gave me a better price on the Forester I wanted after the initial monthly payment wouldn't work for our budget - Greg remained professional and comfortable to talk to and work with throughout the process after I accepted their offer - Larry came by to check on things and ask what I thought, but beyond that had little interaction with him (a nice guy for sure though!) - Finance with Michael went smoothly and was easy for me to understand my additional options. I didn't feel pressured at any point. He's good at his job and, like Greg and Larry, professional, yet comfortable - The last person to help me out was Amanda, who oriented me to me new car and help me clean out my Pilot (YES, I took home my Forester that same day I went in to "just look"!). She was able to answer every question I had and was personable and pleasant. It was a LONG day, having shown up around 9:00AM and left around 1:45. I never felt pressured to buy that day. I was even asked if I would take it home that day if I could and I said that I would consider it. Sure, I was excited to get a new car and maybe anxious and impatient, however I felt good about it driving home, ready to show it off to the family. I'll have a follow-up appointment in the next few weeks. All in all a great experience at Matt Slap!

I went from a legacy to an impreza because I wanted a smaller car and I like driving this better ! It handles really well on the road. I’m not thrilled about all the red lights on the interior but I’m used to it now. and I was concerned about going from buttons to knobs for the heater controls but I’m used to that as well. Overall I like it better although it is expensive for a small car.

Does the end justify the means? Definitely not! That said, my ultimate experience with Rafferty was both enormously gratifying and also, for better or worse, just as upsetting at the beginning. The first half of that remark is for the dealership; the latter for my fellow consumers. However, both parties could benefit tremendously by considering the last-minute, Hail Mary, work-a-round I accidentally ended up applying Without naming names I'll just say that sales reps - within every industry, and just like us - have both good and bad days. The corresponding features of each can have a profound effect on one's level of focus, will, energy, helpfulness, determination, interest, caring, etc, etc, etc. If you were a rep wanting to win an award for salesperson of the year you'd better be on the positive side of those traits. If you are a consumer, however, and purely by chance happen to find yourself dealing with a "bad day" rep, don't blame the dealership. Rather, hang up, call back and specifically request a different person. That's what I did - but ONLY after five days of steaming over what happened during my first attempt. On the fifth day I was actually in the process of wiring money to a different dealer for a car I decided I could probably live with when suddenly the internet went down. Everything stopped. I thought for a moment, picked up the phone and followed the above advice. The outcome? I was paired with a rep with whom I was able to connect genuinely, and ended up getting the car of my dreams. The moral: Neither steam nor groan, Unless flawless you've been shown. Realize that dealerships keep multiple reps on hand for the express purpose of compensating for the daily allotment of "bad day" reps who, for the sake of all, would have done far better to call in sick.

I have bought many cars from their general manager who has worked for many years with Piazza Mazda Now he is in Reading I have traveled 65 miles to buy from Pat and his staff. The buying experience is fun and the sales department deliver on what they promise. After the sale they always follow -up to make sure everything is fine. The service department is what you should expect and Piazza Mazda always deliverer on competent service and there Reading location is no exception. Years ago I always bought USA not now. The Mazda is a great safe car that is fun to drive. What a combination great car and a great dealership. At a great price!! I'm not leaving.

My Forester would not start on Friday night , 9-21-18. I was 25 miles from home and I called the Subaru Roadside Assistance. The Operator was wonderful and we made arrangements to have my car towed Saturday at 8:30 am, when the Glanzmann Service Department would be open. Eric Wilson meet the tow truck driver at the dealership and called me to reassure me that my car had arrived and that the technicians would evaluate the problem. I received a call on Monday at 8:30 am from Eric who informed me that the problem was the alternator. My car was repaired and ready to go be 10:30 am on Monday. How fabulous is that turnaround time? Thank you Eric and Stephanie for the EXCELLENT service and keeping me informed. Also, kudos to Nick in Service who also helps me with the phone system in my Crosstrek, since I am a major technophobe!

Our salesman (Joe Fina) went above and beyond to procure the vehicle we really wanted. Starting with the Internet Sales Department giving us the most aggressive pricing in the Northeast, and not the typical dealer bait-and-switch when you arrive, this was the best experience buying a new vehicle. My wife and I had a very specific vehicle in mind (2018 Hyundai Tucson Limited with the Ultimate package in Dazzling white with a beige interior) which Conicelli did not have in their inventory. Joe worked very hard to find this vehicle for us, and a dealer willing to trade for it, during a very busy time (Hyundai's end of model year sale). Within a few days Joe, working with his team, was able to locate our vehicle at a dealer in Maryland and sent a driver down the next day to bring it up for us. The vehicle was beautifully prepped for our arrival and the paperwork process was seamless and easy. While we were completing the paperwork with Juan, Joe went outside to put our plates and temporary registration on the vehicle as well as activate Bluelink. Once everything was done Joe took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns regarding the various features of the vehicle, especially the new technology. As promised, Joe followed up a few days later with a phone call to ensure that we were enjoying our new purchase and to see if we had any additional questions or concerns. This entire experience has been wonderful and the entire sales team, including the manager, were always polite, respectful, and transparent with everything they were doing. I would definitely recommend Conicelli Hyundai to anyone in the area that is looking to purchase or lease a new vehicle. The no pressure sales approach, the honest and upfront internet pricing, and the overall hospitality of the entire sales group was the best car buying experience.

I first owned a 2013 impreza. I totaled it at 103,500 miles and bought a 2018 impreza with 7800 miles. You would think after 5 years Subaru would get their bluetooth connectivity issues fixed. But obviously not. I'm playing music in my car get out of my car with it still running, get back in my car put it in reverse and my phone randomly disconnects and will not reconnect until I restart the car. And heaven forbid you take your seat belt off a split second before you put it in park because it will beep like crazy even after it's in park! So stupid! I feel like my 2013 impreza was a little quicker as well. My 2013 had all the recall/lawsuit problems so hopefully the 2018 is better build quality . Other then those small problems it's been a great car and I like it.
