Amazing sedan for the snow! Drives well. Great features. Really the only thing that’s missing for me is the automatic lock once the car is in drive and moving. You have to remember to lock the doors. Otherwise, I love it!

I just purchased a new Subaru Forester XT from this dealership on Saturday 1/30. I had previously spoken to Darrell via phone and corresponded through email about the Subaru Outback. I test drove a Outback at a different dealership the night before, and what a difference! I won't speak ill of the other dealership as nothing was terribly wrong - but at Subaru of Plano they got everything right. From the moment my husband and I walked in we were taken care of. We were offered water or a soda from a couple of different people before we met up with Darrell. When the first salesmen we encountered learned we were there to meet with Darryl, he was not off put or suddenly disinterested - he was still kind and professional making sure we connected with Darrell. All prior discussions with Darrell had been about the outback, but when I decided I preferred the Forester and a particular one on the lot, Darrell quickly got the keys and let us test drive it. We weren't told what route we had to take, how quickly we had to get it back, it was just very smooth and relaxing. Darrell was very knowledgeable about the vehicle but more importantly he took the time to get to know us. He was very friendly and inquisitive and asked all the right questions to see why this car would be the best fit for us. When we decided we liked the XT touring package he didn't immediately try to start warning us about cost and payment, he just said -" let me see what I can do. I'll beat the interest rate you were quoted (and he did) and I'll help you get your payments where you want them (and he did)". The whole experience was quick and easy. We weren't expecting to purchase that day and we were in a hurry to pick up our children for a birthday party. The dealership didn't take any longer than necessary to get the sale done. The finance manager was very kind. We did opt to up the warranty to 80,000 miles since we keep our cars for about 10 years. Being the end of the month I expected to have the employees push that "sense of urgency" on us, but I never felt that. Everything about the dealership I would recommend, it was clean, "pet friendly" great inventory, and most importantly the genuine helpful staff.

Love the vehicle other than having to put 8 low beam bulbs in it over the last nine years. This task is very difficult to do and expensive to have a mechanic do. This is such an issue it almost would make me not want the vehicle

When someone takes time to write a review, it is usually a complaint or how badly they were treated.....not the case here. I purchased my 2017 Subaru WRX early 2017 from this dealership & they treated me well. I did decide to also add a 2017 Subaru Sti to my collection that i test drove about 2 weeks ago with salesperson Connor McCown & advised the dealership that I would come over on Saturday with my trade in. To my misfortune, someone beat me to it & got a hold of perhaps the last Subaru Sti in the Rally Blue color with the lip trim instead of the ginormous spoiler Although I was heartbroken that I did not get the vehicle, the salesperson was on his toes to advise me when it was sold, my trade in value, the add on's that were available & the like........and this impressed me about his personality. That same Saturday i visited another dealership & I did not get the same service and the Sti that I wanted was also sold (Wow! everyone were after the 2017 Subaru's before the 2018 started to come in) I would be privileged to return to this dealership & visit with Connor again for any future Subaru vehicles. Subaru of Plano, you have trained this fellow really well & wished we could do business in the future

Imprecise steering, especially bad at highway speeds, needs constant correction. Stiff, at times jarring ride around town. Awful entertainment system, radio and navigation cannot be turned off only turned down until car is restarted. Ready to cancel lease and walk away from $3000 down payment less than 2 months into lease.

Like most I was very skeptical about buying a car online. But I did my research and google'd the company like crazy. What I found in my research is the company had laid off people due to rapid growth and during this time frame the reviews were not good at all. Which to me makes sense and most likely vroom could have done a better job to make sure customers did not feel the effects. But after that period the reviews were really good. Also they have a very high rating with the BBB. That all said I decided to purchase my Jeep Wrangler through Vroom. The entire process from start to finish was awesome! I did not do a trade but just a purchase. I submitted my request for finance and purchase on 7/29 Sunday morning and received a call 7/30 Monday morning. I spoke to the sales person which there was no pressure just Q&A. I put down a deposit so I could secure the Jeep. There was communication via email by Vroom throughout the process including when the Jeep was in route. My jeep was delivered within the time frame they explained, which was the following Friday 8/10 cleaned and in excellent condition. I received my tag and paperwork about a month after the Jeep was delivered. I have 3 kids so spending 4 hours at a dealership is not fun. I would definitely buy from Vroom again. I hope this review helps others who might be on the fence. (Atlanta, GA)

Unless you like to stay up at night reading your Subaru Legacy manual, you may never get the hang of this car. We lease it. Really hard to figure out the settings for window operations, radio, air conditioner (but NO heater), headlight setting, door functions (which doors you gotta open first in order to open other doors), how to get the darn trunk open. So many things. Overr-designed. Too much dashboard disboard distraction. Plus, you can never leave the radio on and open the door (buzzers go off). One must leave the engine on if you want to listen to the radio, open or close a window. I've always had Sirius in previous cars and had no difficulties. Legacy radio display is horrifically complex. Hard to set favorites. Worst of all, you cannot readily know when you are out of gas. My old Volvo used to give me a digital readout on how many miles were left before I'd run out of gas. Really helped me gauge when to stop and refuel. In the Legacy, you can read the meter and think you're okay and then suddenly you see the Orange alert. I tend tonot kno get nervous not knowing approximately how many miles I can drive before I run out completely. In short, the Subaru drives very well, looks pretty good, but is not designed to be user friendly. If you don't like reading manuals in order to listen to a car radio, you'll be irritated often. And the temptation to try to figure these things out WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING is a danger that absolutely must be avoided. I'd love to have a talk with the dashboard designer!

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

I really enjoy almost everything about the car. It drives well, good features, good mileage for AWD. I wish the body was not so low to the ground ( easy to scrape on curbs etc ) but I want a sedan and it seems all sedans now are low like this one nowadays.

Buying a car is stressful even if you have a lot of experience. Historically, it has been time consuming, emotionally taxing and most of us go into a dealership with far less knowledge than we ought for a purchase of the magnitude of a car. Salespeople have (understandable) pressures to move inventory and even the most fair-minded is looking to get the highest price they can get away with. It is harrowing at best. With my experience with Carvana, all of these stresses were eliminated. I browsed inventory as widely or narrowly as I wanted, for as long as I needed. I could dictate pricing ranges that were suitable for me. The car I received was *exactly* the car I examined online, right down to some inconsequential bumper scuffs. Beyond this, and *absolutely unlike* any other online business, I could speak to a *real human being* within a few minutes of calling (I had six or seven conversations with Carvana agents over the 3 1/2 weeks from car selection to car receipt). They either had the answers at hand, or researched them and replied promptly with a follow up call. Delivery coordination and drop off (and test drive) were *painless no pressure* experiences???all preparatory contract paperwork was prepared in advance leaving only title transfer stuff to take care of. It took 45 minutes, tops. (I transacted entirely in cash, so I cannot speak to the process when there is financing.) Honestly, the biggest delay was on *my* end getting the insurance transferred (having to wait on hold with my insurance company for 15 minutes). The car was 100% was described???absolutely no surprises. The images on the web site for my car were not stock images. What I saw was what I got. Naturally, it was clean, filled up with a full tank, with new tires and the whole nine yards. Even got a ???free??? Carvana reusable coffee cup and key chain. Nice touch. The part that I found the most extraordinary was the 7-day money-back guarantee, which pretty much covers a change of mind unless you get into an accident or drive it a ton (over 400 miles, and even then, they???ll take it back after a modest per-mile-over-400 charge). All in all, I was dreading buying a car (and selling my used one) and Carvana made it pleasurable. I am absolutely recommending them to all of my friends and coworkers and I hope (as a relatively new company) they keep up the excellent work.

Yes, where do I start. Do I start with this being the best car buying experience I've ever had? That would be too obvious. But it would be the absolute honest truth. I think that everyone is so used to going to the dealership. Being there for 8 hours (you should get paid for being there you're there so long). Sales people trying to up-sell you on every little thing that you didn't ask for. Just an all around miserable experience. Then you go to carvana.com. You put in exactly what you're looking for. Exactly what you want to pay and presto you have a wonderful car. I believe it took me 45 minutes to do this entire transaction. From first going on the site and finding my 2016 Chervolet Equinox (maybe 15 minutes). To uploading my paperwork (5 minutes). To being approved (5 minutes). To having the car delivered, taking a test drive and signing the papers (20 minutes). It was the best transactions I've done since finding my husband. I've told everyone I know about this. We've watched videos of other people getting their cars. Too funny. Thank you Carvana for this wonderful experience. Can't wait to get my Husband a car now.

I could not believe how easy - and fast - buying a car could be. I decided a used car was for me, so I started looking online and at local dealerships. All I can say is that that experience was enough to put me off the whole process. Dealer add-ons. Limited or no warranty. ???What are you willing to pay???? Enough!!! I saw an ad online for Carvana, which I had never heard of, and thought ???what the heck.??? Such a great find! From the quick and easy search, to no haggle pricing, to easy payment (I was able to pay cash online, but they also offer financing), to a no-risk 7-day return policy AND an additional 100-day warranty on top of that! There was nothing to lose. It took only a few days for delivery - to my home! - and the paperwork was handled in about 5 minutes. They even had a notary show up! They handle the registration, too - no waiting in line at DMV. Bottom line: I love the car, I got it at a good price, and it could not have been easier. Actually, it???s scary how easy it was. I have to stop myself from looking more on he Carvana website, lol.

Engine and mileage troubles

It's a pretty little car. I got the white. It does have excellent outboard visibility which was important to me . The seats are comfortable and I wanted it for the safety ranking, the AWD and the visibility all of which are as promised. It is the smallest car I've had in 40 years but has room for what I need at my age. However it did not get better than 19 mpg city and highway and they had to put a new engine in it. Now it is averaging 24 and can get 32 on the hwy in favorable conditions. I like the heated sets on the lowest setting and am happy to have the back up camera although it is nearly useless after dark-very blurry. I think it accelerates fast enough. I am not happy to not have retained auxiliary power which I thought was standard on something at this price : $26,0000. It is a huge nuisance to have to turn the car back on to close the sunroof or roll a window up or down, The sound system is horribly overcomplicated. Too many unneeded warning indicators which are pretty tiny and take research to figure out.I like the driver info center. I'm getting older and would prefer a car with fewer rather than more features. I had to search hard to find one with a compass , which I still find useful and essential but it is placed-way up in a corner of the rearview mirror. Should be on the dash somewhere to be really useful. The salesforce and the mechanics are very responsive and the car is generally well made. They fixed the engine without complaint. So they get points for that. I just think it is complicated in ways that are not helpful.

We purchased a Certified PreOwned Outback from Subaru of Plano a couple of weeks ago. We had researched prices online, and found that their prices actually came up a bit lower than KBB pricing. Our sales rep (Cody) did a great job of answering our questions during our visits that day. We also test drove an Audi and a Volvo, but came back for the Outback. Our finance guy Ryan made all the terms and conditions clear, and we left that evening with a car we've been happy with since. So far it's been a very good purchase experience.

The staff was very friendly, helpful, informative and took great care of me! Found car online, called to confirm they still had car, spoke to Darrell Hair and he confirmed they did. When we arrived Darrell had keys ready and Carfax report printed, was not pushy and very honest. After test drive he said to take our time since car was for my son, he gave us his best offer. I called next day and asked for one item to be included in deal, he had answer very quickly. We made arrangements to do the deal after work, again Darrell had all his ducks in a row. We were in and out in under 1 hour!! One of the best if not greatest car buying experience I have ever had.

We are thrilled with our buying experience at Sewell Subaru. We emailed for a week getting prices and the value of our trade in with Michael Sparr. He was very courteous and efficient. We visited the dealership to test drive an Outback on Friday night. Michael was not there so Julian Rojas helped us. He was never pushy. He was very knowledgeable and answered our questions and let us test drive an Outback. Julian let us make up our minds without being pressured. We purchased the Outback and are overjoyed with it. It lives up to the Subaru reputation of quality and safety. Thank you Michael and Julian for making our decision to purchase the Outback so easy.

Talk about a sleek car with available iSight camera system that helps ensure the safety of everyone in the vehicle. Comes with adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. Automatic braking to avoid front end collion. Reverse camera with automatic braking and sensors to alert you of oncoming objects usually not in your immediate view when reversing. The day time running lamps are the sharpest looking thing on the road, I prefer them over my BMW LED day time running lamps. In terms of comfort you have all premium leather heated seats with a wood grain front panel that gives off a modern style. Steering wheel paddle shifters with AWD give you superb control. Keyless entry and push to start engine means you can quickly get in and go! Has the new shark fin antenna that flows with the vehicle. Automatic on/off headlamps and awesome fog lamps that individually turn on when making a turn to increase your visibility of the immediate low ground road which allows you to dodge every pothole.

Reliable but Brash

The Subaru Legacy is an excellent vehicle. Subaru has nailed the practicality formula with this vehicle. It is large inside, gets excellent fuel economy, has strong mechanical components (engine, trans, AWD system), and is a perfect family vehicle, though the engine is lacking in power. However, and this is a big, however, the Subarus are NOT built for your comfort. The seats are comfortable enough, as is the ride comfort, but the lack of refinement is alarming. The vehicle is loud, brash, and has little concern for luxury. The interior trim is cheap plastic and rough to the touch. There is very little sound deadening, a decibel meter read 79 decibels at only 50 mph, unacceptable in modern vehicles. Reliability is something great to be concerned about, and Subaru offers an excellent package for reliability and practicality, however, the lack of concern for refinement and quality engineering, especially in todays market, is bad enough to make me sell the car. In a modern market, reliability is something that can be found in most vehicles, but modern interiors have improved far past where Subaru is currently. Want reliability, get a Toyota. Need AWD, get a Toyota RAV4. Your comfortable bottom will thank you for it.

My husband bought a YUKON Denali XL for my birthday in December. I just completed my 3rd service because, well, I drive it a ton. McKinney Buick GMC is so convenient for me to use and the service really is exceptional. I've never had to make an appointment because I'm able to get in and get out without one. There is an excellent service waiting area so I'm able to work while I wait. I've worked with two service advisors and both really took pride in their jobs and it was obvious they enjoy what they do. We didn't know this dealership existed until I googled for GMC's near me where I could get my service clued me in. (My husband went to two GMCs that he passed regularly and didn't know of the McKinney dealership either.)

Like most I was very skeptical about buying a car online. But I did my research and google'd the company like crazy. What I found in my research is the company had laid off people due to rapid growth and during this time frame the reviews were not good at all. Which to me makes sense and most likely vroom could have done a better job to make sure customers did not feel the effects. But after that period the reviews were really good. Also they have a very high rating with the BBB. That all said I decided to purchase my Jeep Wrangler through Vroom. The entire process from start to finish was awesome! I did not do a trade but just a purchase. I submitted my request for finance and purchase on 7/29 Sunday morning and received a call 7/30 Monday morning. I spoke to the sales person which there was no pressure just Q&A. I put down a deposit so I could secure the Jeep. There was communication via email by Vroom throughout the process including when the Jeep was in route. My jeep was delivered within the time frame they explained, which was the following Friday 8/10 cleaned and in excellent condition. I received my tag and paperwork about a month after the Jeep was delivered. I have 3 kids so spending 4 hours at a dealership is not fun. I would definitely buy from Vroom again. I hope this review helps others who might be on the fence. (Atlanta, GA)

I love the look, performance, features, comfort and reliability. I have owned VW's, Ford Pinto, Audi Fox, Honda Accord, Toyota Tercel, Chevy Malibu, Chevy Impala and a 1942 Pontiac that was a gift from an old neighbor who went into a Nursing Home in 1964. I had the most fun in the '42 but my Legacy is by far the nicest car I have ever owned.

I bought a new Crosstrek for my wife and came in this Subaru Dealer on Black Friday 2018. We arrived about 8:45am, but they said Black Friday's hours was over (?).Since we were interested in Subaru and want to get one that special day. We eventually met Bill Klozik a sale consultant in the lot. He was very well informed and experienced guy. Helped us to find the right car. With help from his Internet Sale Manager Dustin Cox, he made our buying experience went smoothly as it should. We do recommend these two men.

I hate writing reviews, I never do them but I absolutely feel compelled to write one for Subaru in grapevine. Firstly our salesperson Bill Klozik. Ask for him, use him and you will not be disappointed. He is so friendly, fun and is NO PRESSURE. I can't stand getting swarmed by drooling sales people before you even get out of your car. Bill was the complete opposite of this. Before we bought our Outback we visited, drove and talked to Bill no less then 4 times and each time he never made us feel rushed or ever appeared annoyed. When you walk in the door there are people with dogs walking around, a smiling friendly receptionist and a general feeling of relaxed fun. 100% opposite of most dealerships. Next was the sales manager Steven Johnston (sp?). I drive a hard bargain when I buy cars and he was very patient and willing to work with us to get to the price point we needed to be at. Big thumbs up for him. Lastly was Freddie in finance. Do you ever get to finance and get hammered to buy stuff you don't want or need by a stressed out guy that smells like cigarettes and $2 cologne? Freddie is the opposite of that. He was smart, quick, no pressure and even worked with me to buy the extended warranty for a good price that I wanted. As he said, we could of sat in his office and talked all night. Such a cool guy. Lastly, they have a beautiful dealership with a nice snack area, super nice service area, free car washes etc etc etc. To the owner of Subaru Grapevine. Sir, you are doing something right. Please keep this fun relaxed low pressure vibe and you will become the premier Subaru dealer in Texas. Thank you for giving us one of the best buying experiences we have had in 25 years.

I never rate 5 stars, but Huffines KIA staff EARNED it! I called and spke to Brett Clark, one of the Sales managers. He greeted me on the phone with enthusiasm and knowledge of the inventory @ their dealership. I was specific about what I wanted and he had it available. I informed him that I was driving in from Fort Worth and would be in shortly. When I arrived, I noticed a low key, NON sterile dealership environment, with literally the most welcoming attitude I have seen. I was immediately introduced to Brett Clark, who welcomed me and had a quick definitive conversation about my vehicle needs. He then handed me over to the sales magician Alex Wiederholt, who showed me 3 vehicles within my option requests. It was a 100 degree Texas day and Alex walked me to the back lot in the hot Sun to show me the 3rd vehicle in Black with Terra Cotta seats. "Voila" that was the one! This vehicle was completely wrapped in delivery paper and within less than 2 hours, my salesman Alex Wiederholt, the financing gentleman (Joey Sparlin) and the make ready tech (so sorry, unknown name) had fully gassed, prepped, discussed & demonstrated ALL of the vehicle options to me..... Wow, I cannot say enough good things about this dealership. Why did I drive so far you ask? Because I had already went to Patterson KIA, Clay Cooley AND SW KIA (Atif, Mgr.) Hampton, Dallas and they all wanted to play games and we both wasted our time. Huffines KIA Corinth was completely transparent and gave me options within MY price range. I am such a happy camper, I mean KIA customer (KIA #4 so far)!
