I bought this car back in 2006 from the dealer and I still have it. Very reliable, very sporty and has room to haul and travel efficiently. This car still looks and handles as if I got it from the lot but I work on the maintenance/ repairs in the garage myself so that helps me a ton.

I bought this car used in October 2007. It had 42000 miles on it. Now in 2024, it has over 400000 miles on it and is still running great. It's a true testament to how a quality car with regular maintenance can almost last forever. It's exterior is beat up and so is the interior, but mechanically, it's as good as the day it left the factory.

I've owned dozens and dozens of car and this one has impressed me the most. Tons of power from the V6, typical Toyota reliability, very ergonomic, and very capable. I've hauled weight in this thing that would rival any truck and pulled a trailer that was double it's load rating. It is currently 06/13/2022, my 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca Limited is (I mean this) the best factory SUV of all time. Of any brand, any year. I (24 y/o) was taught to drive a decade ago, in this car. Purchased it off from my mother, and still use it daily. I've owned other SUV's, and was a valet driver for 4 years which allowed me to drive just about any vehicle (besides the extreme) you can think of. I mean this wholeheartedly, my 7 seater, 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca has been comfortable, seen 130mph, and has handled turns/curves at speeds any other SUV would never stand a chance with. This SUV defies sport utility vehicle. 180,000 miles on the dash, and will go 0-60mph in 7-8 seconds (fasted documented 7.38). I will hold onto this discontinued gem until the car world realizes the potential the H6 3.0 DOHC Boxer engine holds. When this car was manufactured I was playing little league baseball, I have been able to avoid life threatening accidents because of the responsive steering and control, driven through 9" snow storms and make it home safe. I've had the liberty, on closed courses, to drive in competitive timed course runs and beat out sedans like Lexus, Infinity, Honda, Toyota. Truly designed to be a "soccer mom" SUV, this vehicle has altered my perspective on modern day cars and SUVs. I cannot express enough how reliable, safe, and fun the B9 Tribeca has been to me through the years. The Subaru Ascent seems to be inspired from the B9 Tribeca, however I've driven it. Nothing compares. THE CLOSEST COMPARISON I HAVE: 2015 Audi q5 or 2017 Acura MDX. I bought a 2011 Equinox w/2Lt, with the 3.0L VVT. 264 HP engine and 18" wheels. This vehicle was T-boned on the passenger side door with air bag deployed and thus declared totalled by an insurance company from a previous owner. This vehicle was rebuilt and salvage title issued with approximately 38,000 miles on the odometer. This vehicle turned out to be a very good experience so far as I have had some repaint done and I replaced my wheel hubs, brake rotors, calipers and brake pads with high performance parts. With this power plant configuration, I can pull my droptail trailer loaded with 2 cruiser motorcycles to Sturgis with absolutely no problems whatsoever. I change oil every 6 months with under 3,000 miles on the oil. The engine does not use oil. I am a conservative driver and use extra caution while trailering. I added a Curt class IV hitch with no trailer brakes. Trailer payload on the scale is 1900-2200lbs depending on what bikes I decide to take. However, I would not have considered ANY Equinox with the xxx I4 Ecotec Engine. Those engines were built with a batch of bad timing chains from Mexico and GM ended up replacing a boat load of those engine. I am a mechanical engineer.

We have owned our CRV for close to 10 years now. From 65k miles to 192k. The A/c went out years ago and no problem since fixing it. Replaced the alternator at maybe 160k. That’s it. They are not fast. We get about 23mpg combined. It’s the best car we have ever owned as far as reliability and function. Comfortable with a large trunk. Some may start to consume a little oil, just add a bottle of ring seal once or twice a year. Great car

The best car I've ever owned. I've owned Audi's, Chevy's, Nissan, Acura's, and other cars over the years. None have been better, although Acura's are a very close second. I got the car with 75K miles on it, drove it for 8 years, and just sold it with 307K miles on it. Very few problems over the years. Had to replace 2 timing belts, the radiator, alternator, and one wheel bearing. It was such a great car, so I went out and found a low mileage 2009 RX350 (same body style) but with half the miles. As a sales rep, I feel confident with my new(er) RX and am confident I can run this one up to 300K + miles - no worries.

I am the original owner of a 2003 5 cylinder AWD Volvo SUV. It has 135 Mike's on it and still in perfect condition. Great in snow, rain or anywhere. I also have a MB C300 but it has nowhere near the same comfort or performance. I keep thinking I should get a new SUV but it drives perfectly. Only repair has been a rebuilt transmission at around 110 miles a recommended timing chain around the same time. Don't know if the new ones are as good but this one is a gem.

I am the original owner of my 2004 Toyota Highlander purchased with 8 miles on it ( my test drive miles =))... it currently has 419,100 miles. Original engine, transmission etc... Some upkeep throughout the years... but She's still pushing and running smoothly. What's the saying " til the wheels fall off" which shouldn't be anytime soon because I just purchased new tires last year. =))). Best vehicle ever, very reliable, sturdy, and fun to drive....we have been through a lot.

I have now had this car for over five years, as the second owner, and have over 275,000 miles. It's not as comfortable as Suburban, and doesn't handle as nicely as a mini van, but most of the issues to this point have been cosmetic or fairly normal for the vehicle category (suspension, etc). I have the most basic package; The interior is showing wear, and the driver information center's light sensor has been acting up for a while, but it still gets us where we need to go.
