I have yet to get this 2024 4runner TRD Pro stuck, and I have tried. Love this thing. Its already made it across the country and back. Ive had it since April of 2024 and about to break 20k miles. Had water to the bumper and mud to the frame and this thing keeps on ticking wheels keep turnin.

I’ve owned a 2022 Toyota 4Runner sr5 for around 2 years now and the whole time I’ve put that thing through basically xxxx, and it has never ever broken, or had anything wrong with it, it may not be considered a truck to some but it sure has driven better than any truck I’ve ever driven, the 4Runner is a beast

Unfortunately, the specific car was not available immediately but Andrew promised that he would be able to locate it elsewhere and he certainly fulfilled his promise. Even though it took a few weeks, Andrew and his team kept us informed on the progress and approximate time of delivery. When we arrived at the Dealership the car was ready to be purchased. Jason Souder was the one who took care of the necessary paperwork associated with the car delivery. Jason made our buying experience seamless and pleasant. I purchased this 4Runner new, have only driven it moderatelybut far back into rarely ever traveled areas — definitelyfar away from any crowds. I do all maintenance myself, and there is extremely little of that. I have only replaced the original battery once. It handles very well in all situations. I did and strongly do recommend getting the factory high quality stabilizer system. Mine is a 4x4 Trail Edition and I ever so greatful for that. That provides truly complete 4 wheel drive but only when needed. Being a car mechanic when young, a Marine Colonel and a retired Professor of Plasma physics and Quantum Electrodynamics, I carefully studied all vehicles and options far in advance. The Toyota V-6 engine is famous for its extreme durability as is every part of the vehicle. I did, as a possibly excessive caution, replaced the perfectly good radiator with a larger, no–plastic radiator possessing far better transmission cooler. Also being a private airplane pilot for over 65 years, I have long ago learned to be pro-active rather than reactive. Silicone hoses and best quality German full synthetic oil in engine, transmission and both differentials. The European oil standards are far beyond American and aggressive testing has proven that beyond any doubt. I have also replaced the cheapy passenger car tires and wheels with full beadlock, wider, negative offset wheels (all 5) with Toyo 8-ply rated 275/75–17" tires (34"), improved the factory shocks with King 2-¾" shocks & springs, et al. Yes, I also designed & built high quality fore & aft stainless steel bumpers to carry an 10mt hydraulic winch and double swing out locking rear bumper to carry 3 20 liter NATO gas cans, high lift jack, 4 traction panels and the oversized spare tire. The driving and riding quality is genuinely wonderful. This vehicle will out live both my equally fantastic wife and myself, as well as the next series of owners. Just nothing ever goes wrong with it (full skid plates help). To date, I have never known of a more practical, pleasant, reliable vehicle, and we have gone to some very 'dicey' places without any fear of getting stuck or damaged. I honestly have never even heard of any vehicle remotely as reliable and comfortable even for long trips as the 4Runner. I had a 1987 4Runner but the 4 cylinder engine, while excellent, was just not powerful enough, although I did much prefer the standard 5 speed manual transmission over the current automatic transmission. In approximately 400,000 miles over 27 years, I only replaced the battery twice.

It's the very last body on frame bullet proof SUV. It's built like a tank is great for all types of driving situations and here in Illinois where the roads are almost as terrible as it's governor it needs to be ready to drive over potholes the size of Pritzkers rear end and handle it. I've had no problems and plan on holding onto it especially now that Toyota has taken a turn for the worse with garbage 4 cylinder turbos.

Not the most technologically advanced but that is what I was looking for, keep it simple! The features it has are the important ones, at least to me. This is my third one since 2011 and I love not having to bringing them in for repairs.

Traded 2023 Highlander Ltmd AWD for 2024 4 runner because it was sadly disappointing. Chose 2024 4runner before they ruin it with the 2.4L turbo & electric motors the 2025 is suppose to get. Have a 2022 4runner we love so why not have another as our second vehicle. Both are TRD Off Road models and seem to go just about anywhere you dare with surprising results Everytime ! Good visibility,great comfort, enough room and safe & reliable.

Had a dead battery one month into lease. Joe D and Pete H had the car driven back to dealer and replaced, then had car driven back to house!! awesome service

Steve from AZ with 2022 review...dude, you must have gotten one made on Monday or Friday as the saying goes. I'm on my 3rd 4Runner since 1995, and I am looking for another one now. Our oldest son totaled the 95 in 2003 in his senior year of high school, head on collision, and walked away without a scratch. We replaced it with a 2001. I rolled that one 2x in my 1st accident in Oct 2011. I got hit by wildlife and knocked off the other side of the road. I was doing good keeping it steady, but it wasn't slowing down, and I knew not to hit the brakes on the wet grass--I forgot my cruise control was on. So I rolled it 2x and hung upside down in the middle of a swamp until the police found me, but not a scratch on me. We replaced that one with a 1999, and I'm still driving it. It looks like xxxx cosmetically and the leather seats have been destroyed by the 7 rescue dogs that have been part of our family since 2012, but it has only stopped running once. I've had what I would call 2 major repairs on 3 4Runners. The brake booster and master cylinder last year on this 99, and some type of sensor down below the belt that caused a major oil leak and then it wouldn't start this past spring. The part was only $25, but I paid my mechanic neighbor $200 to do the repair instead of $800 for labor elsewhere. And it was already 23 years old and had 225,000 & 230,000 miles on it before those 2 things happened. And just FYI from an old lady, NEVER take a vehicle to a dealership to be repaired! I'm probably a bit older than you so I learned that lesson decades ago. Find a good independent mechanic and treat them like you do your Mama because they are an important person in this life. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with yours, but I have loved every single one of mine, and the thought of driving something else literally hurts my feelings. Hope you are blessed in whatever you drive now!

Spoke with very professional and easy speaking sales associate named Aamir Mapp . He was a pleasure to work with, even though we didn’t get a deal done today 02/18/23 . Aamir’s attitude was contagious with some laughter and made the process of possibly selling a car today very comfortable. Unfortunately we were to far off with the numbers today. This continues to be a great car for my needs and very dependable. It feels solid and safe, especially on wet roads. No problems. Would wish for better gas mileage.

2005 Toyota 4Runner Limited V8… Purchased as new from dealer in Ohio in 2005. Currently has 200,000 miles on odometer. Enjoyed every mile! Due to Ohio winters and salty roads - the suspension has been replaced, section of frame replaced, wheels pitted. Will be due for another timing belt change (expensive due to complexity). Excellently maintained by a local Toyota mechanic. It is my hope that this vehicle will last another 200,000 miles. The only negative is the 18mpg around town.

I'm just in the "middle" of my research. They have been helpful, responsive, and patient as I go through my process. Would definitely recommend then to anyone looking for Lexus, new or used!

Just purchased by 3rd 4runner Limited. Love that Toyota is reliable and I like sitting up over looking traffic. Toyota's hold there resale value. I did not purchase the extended warranty, I've never used it previously and think it's a waste of money unless you pur a EV. Also, the dealership might try to get you to buy windshield coverage....it's already in my auto insurance coverage. Shop around for rates, usually a credit union has pretty good rates if your credit score is good. Dealerships generally run higher interest rates. Also, make sure you get 2 key fobs. Just offering some general buying tips.

My wife drives this vehicle and she is a small gal. She said it fits her great and rides very smooth. Gas mileage isnt the best but she doesnt drive it everyday so its not a big deal for us .

This is our fourth 4Runner since 1996. 4Runners are a supper reliable SUV. Each of our 4Runners had over 250,000 miles with no issues. I would recommend a Toyota 4Runner as primary vehicle. They are stylish, reliable, economical to own and operate.

My daughter bought a 2019 4runner .I was cleaning and detailing it for her and started to look it over i was impressed with the options and quality. 4 days later I had a 2020 off road premium in my driveway. I really like it already changed it some to look like I want it to wheels blacked out the chrome all said I am really happy with my 4runner

I owned a Nissan Pathfinder and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. I reviewed,looked over and test drove the 4Runner. Honestly and truly,I fell in love with the feature's,capabilities,the mileage capabilities because I have learned to tweak the computer a little. After 6 year's in Dec.,it looks almost as good as it did the day I bought it! I am very cognizant of the care my vehicle gets,and when the Dealer kept disregarding my complaint's about oily finger print's and oily body print's on my 4Runner,I fired them because of this,and the LIE THEY TOLD ME,saying that they no longer use Fender Cover's like they did when I bought it from them BRAND NEW! I FIRED THEM! Dealer prices are already in the Cloud's and with that price,I expect excellence at every level of service to my vehicle. I did have a Ceramic Coating applied when it was Brand New,and the shine is still so brilliant that I still get a Ton of Compliment's and stares from other SR5 4Runner owner's. The paint color is Midnight Blue Metallic. Thats a very pleasing feeling also knowing that I can pull up next to a little car,and he can see every detail of his vehicle and even the face of his passenger in the paint! This page is not long enough to say how much I am still enamored with this vehicle. It still has only 54000 miles on it and not even broken in! Always stay ahead of the curve on your Oil Changes and preventative maintenance and she just might be with you longer than your last wife?

This is the second car purchase I made at Team Toyota of Glen Mills, and they were both good experiences. They started with the best price and then worked with me to get the exact deal I was after. My salesman, Jeremy Wood was great. He was friendly, professional, personable and knew his cars. He came in on his day off in order to meet with me and set up a test drive. He took extra care to keep the buying process safe during the covid pandemic. It takes a lot to impress me, and Jeremy did just that. There are 10 Toyota dealers closer to my home than Team Toyota of Glen Mills. They made it worth the trip.

The 4RUNNER is an impressive car and very popular in my area. I would like to have seen more amenities that many of their other models have like: Power liftgate, auto lane safety control, lane warning lights in side mirrors, turning indicator light in side mirrors and relocate trailer plug connector further back towards the rear bumper.

This review is based on 300 miles so reliability is really an unknown but I purchased based on Toyota's reputation. I was looking at larger SUV such as the Chevy Tahoe and Ford Explorer/Expedition. Reliability has become questionable on both so, I opted for my first Toyota. I have the SR5 which is the bottom trim level. It has all of the safety features and same engine as the other models. It's not a luxury SUV by any means but, it's functional, purpose driven and the cost was reasonable. You can go as high as $70K+ on some trims. I added 4WD to mine and it had a few small extras. Cost was MSRP and about $44.5K plus tax. The cabin is quiet, seats are comfortable. I did not get the third seat option. I prefer the large open space. On the topic of cargo area, Toyota left the third row side panels in place so, that eats up a little room. Also, the cargo floor has no underfloor storage, it's fixed. Infotainment is good, 8" screen is ample for most folk. Safety features seem good so far. Gas mileage is averaging 23mpg but, on a run at or below 70mph, you should get 25+ in eco mode and sensible throttle use. The engine seems to have a lot of power that kicks in at low RPM. Very nice. Lots. of plastic on the inside but fit and finish is good. No rattles so far. I did not purchase the car for 4WD activities but nice to have is stuck in the snow.
