Chester Springs: genuine people solving problems

I have been with Lexus of Chester Springs for several years because the people are genuine and they have always accommodated my busy schedule. Recently, I noticed a funny noise, but being 460 miles away from Chester Springs, PA. I opted to let the local Lexus dealership near my home town in Ohio diagnose Lexi (my car's name) to make sure it was nothing serious. LONG story short and not naming names, let's just say, it was a horrendous and time wasting experience. I initially took Lexi in and got her back 4 weeks and $3,400 later, with the problem not solved. After taking the car right back with the un-resolved issue, it took the dealership another week to re-evaluate my car and came back to me with a $12,000 quote telling me that I needed a new transmission and radiator! This came as a total shock since I have always kept up the maintenance at Chester Springs and Lexi happens to be an LS, the paragon model that Lexus produces . People that drive this car take pride in the performance and its sustainability. Since I thought it was premature to be talking transmissions, I reached out to Lexus customer satisfaction and spoke with Stephanie. She listened to my concerns, was punctual with her follow ups, and upon completing an investigation, she ended up shipping Lexi almost 500 miles so the experts at Lexus CS's could have a look. In less than 24 hours upon her arrival, I got a call from Steve Anderson, in service, informing me that it had been a misdiagnosis, and the $12,000 estimate that the first dealership had given me was not on point and that he would be in touch shortly after they perform a thorough scope. Within a few days Steve's team had found the issue with my car, and fixed it at the tune of $1,200, and had her ready & running perfectly! In a follow up call from Steph, I thanked her for refunding the dealerships initial error, for shipping Lexi to PA and back to Ohio after it was fixed, and expressed my appreciation for handling this matter so professionally. Everyone that know me, knows how much I ? my Lexi Lady, but when the time comes to buy my next car, Chester Springs will continue to get my business and my trust.
