Used Toyota Highlander for sale near Milford, OH under $15,000

Bought the '12 used with 30k miles on it 9 years ago. It now has 187k and is running great. Regular oil changes and typical maintenance, brakes, tires, etc. The AC did go last year and was fixed. Car is plenty cargo spacious and has been used to move many items, furniture, building materials etc. The only thing I'd like better from it is brighter headlights. If a HIghlander has been maintained I'd not hesitate to pick up a higher mileage used one and expect many more miles.

I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. Everyone from the Sales-person, finance and even the Technicians. were friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. They even went above and beyond making sure I got the best loan that fit me. I love my highlander and just got back from Myrtle Beach SC, driving round trip. It is so fun to drive and all the room is unbelievable. I highly recommend both the highlander and Alton Toyota dealership!

I purchased my 2010 Highlander in March 2011 with 5K miles. I now have 177,377 miles and never had a major repair required. Just replaced spark plugs for second time and should be good for another 75-80K miles. Thinking of trading in-not sure what to do. Oh btw: I’ve never missed a scheduled oil change in 13 years or ownership. Anyone have an opinion??????

I am the original owner of my 2004 Toyota Highlander purchased with 8 miles on it ( my test drive miles =))... it currently has 419,100 miles. Original engine, transmission etc... Some upkeep throughout the years... but She's still pushing and running smoothly. What's the saying " til the wheels fall off" which shouldn't be anytime soon because I just purchased new tires last year. =))). Best vehicle ever, very reliable, sturdy, and fun to drive....we have been through a lot.

2015 highlander limited. Its very smooth , the seat/mirror memory buttons are great , the auto high beams are awesome. Its easy to maintain, all the fluids and breaks etc are very easy to service right in the driveway. It has the 6 speed transmission that is known to be very reliable (unlike the 8spd trans that toyota came out with in 2017)

Up front pricing. No hidden fees. David and his dad encouraged pre purchased inspection. Easy to work with. Love our new Tundra.

I bought my 2010 Highlander in 2011 with 30k miles. It is the 6 cyl model with AWD and a 3rd seat. I now (4/24) have 267,000 miles on it and it runs as if it was new. I have driven it on- and off-road as well as several 5,000 round trips to CA towing trailers and it has performed flawlessly! No serious mechanical issues and the body has no rust (remarkable in MN). The key is regular factory suggested service. I have been toying with replacing it for a newer Toyota but the Toyota dealer is telling me that with continued regular service, I should get 300,000 - 350,000 miles or more without major problems from this vehicle. It is incredibly smooth on the highway and in town. I am 82 and have never had a vehicle this reliable, comfortable, or last for these many miles.

Jeff Jones did an excellent job not only finding a used car for our daughter but later called me after finding a vehicle for me too. We had talked to him about what we wanted and our budget and we were so happy when he called us with the perfect fit. Our daughter was very happy for her Ford Escape and we got a Honda CR-V which has been awesome. Jeff was extremely responsive to our needs and communicated with us along the way. I have had my 2012 Highlander 7 months ago with 142k and we have put 9k miles on it. Bought it from the 1st owner that had dealer service on it. They had delt with the oil leaks around 60k with the dealer working on it 4 times before they got it fixed by dropping the motor and doing head gaskets on it the last time. Still no leaks. I had to do a few interior repairs like the radio volume control jumping, jut pull the knob off and spray a electrical cleaner in and protect the dash from it. And 1 of the trunk floor flaps was broken off, also easy fix, clean the throttle body and mass air flow, new air filter, then reset the computer by disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds so it can re learn the throttle body from the cleaning. I then drive to Florida and I got 25mpg with my SE, V6, 4X4. I have a bad back and 3 surgeries and this is 1 of the most comfortable vehicle I have ever driven equal to my loaded Suburban, Tahoe, and Avalanches I have had. If I ever get rid of it it will be for another one.

Stopped in looking for a reasonably priced used pick up truck. Found a 2023 Honda Ridgeline with low miles at a reasonable price on their lot. Called in and was put in touch with Tim. He was excellent to work with and meticulous in having all the necessary paperwork so the closing went smooth and on time.

We bought our 2012 highlander in 2021 with 220,000 miles on it. After taking it on a couple of trips the alternator has failed but it was the original. This suv was great in the snow this past year and the ac on trips last year made a great people hauler for the family.

Despite some very negative reviews, I tried this dealership because they had the vehicle I wanted. I came prepared for bad things because of the warnings in the reviews. I found that they are not the bad guys the reviews suggested. They were very upfront about the vehicle, which was exactly as represented, about their post-sale responsibility (vehicles sold as is) and did not try any bait and switch. Johnny Lee was very helpful and sincere. Only two complaints - 1. after the deal was made it was two more hours before we were able to leave the dealership (i have had this same experience almost every time i have purchased a vehicle, so nothing different here) 2. Their price is no-haggle (I think this is actually good, I hate to haggle, I just wish I had known that before I tried to haggle.) I do not hesitate to recommend them and I would go back. Those bad reviews? I don't know but I suspect those supposed buyers didn't do their homework before shopping, and need someone to blame for the mistake they made. Or else they just like bad mouthing others.

We have owned our Highlander since about 42K miles, it now has 136k. The car has been wonderfully reliable and the batteries (now 16 years old) seem to still be working quite well. We get about 25mpg, maybe one or two less than when we first got it. While maybe not sexy, the first-gen Highlander Hybrid is a super well-engineered car. Our years in this tight, quiet, comfortable, spacious vehicle have been great. Biggest problem is we can't find a modern car we like enough to replace it!

Great family vehicle. Drove my last one for 9 years and it still ran perfectly until I was in a bad wreck and totaled it. I walked away without a scratch after rolling and flipping it down a steep hill six times.

Our minds were set on a Toyota Highlander due to the quality of the car and high mileage that we had on our Toyota Sienna (243,000). We did not need a mini-van yet still need room to haul. Honestly I expect to get 300,000 miles out of this jewel, and I will since I keep my cars serviced.
